I implore anyone considering Cox as their cable, internet, phone, or home security provider to seek…read moreANY OTHER provider possible in your area. The service is marginal at best. The customer service has degraded to completely horrid. In December, my DVR box stopped working I had to boot, reboot, unplug replug, reboot my modem, reboot the box... basically jump through hoops hoping for it to work. Then when it did work, it stopped the next day. When I chatted with a service rep, I was told a brand new box would be mailed to my house. The new DVR NEVER showed. I continued to struggle through the many reboots for weeks. I called several times and had no resolution. On one occasion I was lied to by a service rep saying they would no longer send me a box because "this is normal behavior for the box to reboot when it updates" (never mind that I have had this box for several months and it never acted this way before. The retention center promised I would be credited $105 for my inconvenience. I eventually called and another representative said they would send a box. The box arrived and I plugged it in and guess what? IT DIDN"T WORK! I called AGAIN and they said they would send a technician to repair my issue. The technician arrived and said they improperly activated my box. He plugged in a box from his truck... guess what... IT DIDN"T WORK! He plugged in another box from his truck (his last one) and after several attempts it worked... problem solved right? WRONG! I just received my Cox Bill. The amount went UP!? Why, well yes, there was some long distance phone calls but the reason it went up is because THEY CHARGED ME $100 for the technician!!! Can you believe that? The technician who came to my house because the box they sent was improperly activated!!! Oh and by the way, I pay extra for "Cox Connect" you know the fee so you don't have to pay for a technician to come to your house... Oh, but this technician visit doesn't count... WTH! I had been with Cox since 2004. I had great experiences with Cox, but apparently now they have no interest in my business, and I don't care how much more I have to pay to get out of it, I have no interest in retaining Cox as my tormenter.

All three carriers could not get the phone systems to work reliably and for a heavy service business like insurance that is crucial to good customer service. Each time we had to buy another expensive phone system to work with that carrier wasting time and money. Dan fixed the problem we were having with our phone system and we have been delighted with his service. Dan was quick to respond to a hack attack on our phone system on election day 2020 and we never lost phone service. Our latest phone solution Dan provided is cloud based so even if my office has no power we can use the phone from any internet connection. Dan's latest upgrade allow me to receive and make phone calls from my cell phone using the office phone number so the staff do not have to give out their personal cell phone numbers if not called for. If you are considering Anchor Telecom over larger glitzier rivals; I would recommend Dan hands down. More younger employees with limited knowledge can never rival Dan's decades of phone experience. Many companies resell phone service, but they are not phone experts. It may be more convenient to do business with one company that does it all, but are they specialists in everything they are selling you? Feel free contact me directly if you have questions or would like to see the phone system Dan provided us.

It's a shipping strip which is convenient and it was easy to pull in and out. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They seemed to be able to help answer any questions and were familiar with the products they sold. My experience with this store was a nightmare. I went in on 6/29/26 because my phone was frozen and…read morewas immediately told it was no good by David and manager, Yohan. I wanted to buy a new phone outright and was told I would get a better deal (half price for the phone and an apple watch) if I added a line (I had 4 and had no need for another), got the Tmobile credit card (didn't need it) and it would just cost $13 more per month. (My current plan was $185 per month). It seemed like a no brainer because of the watch. Salesman David took 3 hours to transfer my contacts and photos to the new phone, repeatedly ignored my questions about how much my monthly bill would actually increase (I suspected hidden fees or taxes).  I paid $139 for the phone, screen protector and watch. I had nothing in writing but was assured by David if there was anything wrong with the bill they would fix it?!?  Four days later I received a text with my next bill - $373!!   I went into the store and spoke to manager, Eric. He said he would look into it and get back to me. He did not. Several days later I went back and Eric told me David put me on the wrong plan and he would correct it, but he would have to speak to his manager about the current bill of $373 because that could not be changed (due for autopay in 5 days). He would get back to me. He did not. I went in a third time, spoke to Eric, returned the watch, told him to put me on my original plan.  He said they would give me $100 credit. I agreed and asked if there were penalties to leave Tmobile in the future. He said the $100 credit was contingent on my staying with Tmobile!! I was very angry because not only was I misled on the first visit but now I was paying for David's mistake?!?! Eric said he would have his manager (Yohan) call me. I went home and called the general Tmobile Customer Service line. Kai advised if I didn't hear from them or was refused the credit, to go back to the store and call Customer Service when I got there. Since I did not hear from the manager, I went in a 4th time, told Eric to put me on my orignal plan which he agreed to do, gave me the $100 credit on my next bill and charged me $616 for the phone.  On 7/23/26, I called the Customer Service line again to be sure everything was good. I was told I still had 6 lines - the 2 that were supposed to be canceled weren't!!  Victor was very helpful and canceled the extra lines. When I expressed that I was still paying for David's original mistake because my July payment was $260, Victor checked on it and said I would receive an additional credit of $80 off my next bill because I had been "overcharged". When I received my new bill, it was $179 which was close to my original plan price, but there was NO additional credit. I called Customer Service on 8/4/26 and was told by Maria there was no additional credit, but she could offer me a "One Time Courtesy Credit of $40" which I refused and had to VERY angrily demand to speak to a supervisor.  Supervisor Derek was helpful and immediately applied a credit of $80.  At the end of it all, I paid $755 for the phone (not the newest model) with screen protector and I am back on my original plan.

I was thinking cause it was close to me at that moment and the other T-Mobile location was a bit far. There were 3 reps no customers at the time. The rep told me I had to go to the original store because I already did made a deposit. This store is not corporate and the rep was not going to get credit and would be wasting his time with me. Very inconvenient for me to drive 35 minutes to the other T-Mobile store. This T-Mobile store please do better. This location sucks and I will take my business elsewhere. And I would advise clients to not do business here.

Not surprisingly, the review here from 9 months ago states names of employees no longer here. I realize the world is more complicated today, but it is no excuse for rude customer service. I dealt with Maria who was very good at the onset. It didn't last. The transfer of phones took much longer than we we're told. They also pushed their new internet. Told me to take it home and try it. Any problems, bring it back. The signal was terrible so I brought it back. That's when the fun started. "We don't take the routers back in the store. You have to call customer service and get a return shipping label." Called customer service, they said "bring it to the store." Store refused. 4 TIMES. I finally went into the store with corporate on the phone who told Maira to take it back. She refused and was rude. She left me standing there and ultimately had corporate send a return slip. She handed it ME to ship back!! I intend to terminate my service asap and will never return. You won't save money- you'll gain aggravation.

I feel blessed to live in the same town where the Computer Doctor is located. Steve, the owner,…read morehas always been helpful with diagnosis/repair of laptops I've brought him in the past, but more recently, he really hit a home run. My used laptop computer, which I'd bought from a private seller some three years ago, had never been a powerhouse, but it was fine for my modest needs. In the past few months, it became slower and slower, and, just as income tax time was looming, it stopped booting up. Not good. (Of course, I had already loaded tax return software on it, and started my tax return.) I dropped it off at his shop, which is neat and organized, on a Friday, and early next week had a diagnosis: the hard drive had failed. I was expecting to have to shop around for another used laptop (which I seem to do every 2 to 3 years), but Steve said it was light work to replace the hard drive. He also recommended increasing the memory from 4GB to 8GB. The price was surprisingly reasonable, so I authorized the work. Even though he had to order the additional memory, the computer was ready for pickup just a few days later, so the turnaround time was surprisingly quick. Steve stands behind his work. There was a very minor issue, which he fixed in five minutes. My laptop not only works well, it boots up much faster than before, and programs load very quickly (partly due to new hard drive technology, and partly due to increased memory). It was money well spent, and will allow me to get more use out of this computer. Parking is limited to on-street, which makes me nervous since the street is hilly and curvy there, but it is what it is. Hours are limited, and since it is a one-man business, and he does service calls at homes and businesses, he is not always in the shop during stated business hours. Also, the shop is not open on Saturdays. Although it is sometimes difficult to get access to Steve, it is nevertheless worth the effort because of the quality of work coupled with very reasonable prices.
