My first visit to We Fix It was great. They take care of their customers. Edgar at WFI was patient with all my questions and fixed the issues without wasting time. I highly recommend it if you have minor issues with your phone and would not like to spend too much money (or cannot afford) on a new phone. Brought my phone in for a simple screen repair, was working completely fine. Upon pick up, the technician said it was overheating and there may be a motherboard problem, but I figured it would cool off and be fine. Less than an hour later, it would not charge, overheated as soon as turned on and shut down a minute later. Brought it into apple store that day and they confirmed it was broken beyond repair, so I had to replace it and turn in the broken phone. Went in a few days later when the manager was in, with the apple report, and they flat refused any sort of refund or help without seeing the original phone, despite the technician noting the problem and the proof of my apple store visit 2 hours after dropping the phone off with the documented issue. Why would I spend money on a screen repair if I got the phone replaced the same day, it's no extra money and broke my apple warranty. I understand wanting to see the phone but the technician noted the problem when he returned it to me, and it makes no sense. I guess they save on the refund, so good for them. Would not recommend this business if you have another option, not worth the risk. read more

I used to love and recommend this place. I have had multiple screen replacements here, but my last screen replacement i had done right before leaving town has been glitching non stop, phone disables itself in my pocket constantly, keyboard jumbles words while typing etc. I brought it in upon my arrival back into providence, expecting the same helpful service i had received many times before, and was told that theres nothing they can do. Though the screen is obviously glitching due to improper replacement or a defective screen on their behalf. Apparently they have "no way to look up receipts" which i have a hard time believing considering the register technology at hand. Regardless, they offered no insight pr help to remedy the situation. I took my phone in with a cracked screen and was told it would take them 5 days to fix it. It took a month. I would call them to ask for status updates and they were always too busy to answer my call ensuring me that they would call me back. They never did. Finally I got my phone back with a new screen but felt thoroughly ripped off for having to pay nearly $200 after waiting a month for the repair. And then two weeks later the phone mysteriously died and would never turn back on. It was only 1.5 years old, a phone I had never had a previous problem with. I wouldn't trust this place. I did have a previous good experience with them and a laptop I brought in. I just upgraded my phone with AT&T, but the trade-in value of my iPhone XR was only 1/2 since my screen was cracked & I was missing the SIM card tray. Angel greeted me right away & offered to fix it under 45 minutes. He even made sure that the SIM card tray matched the phone's color so I could be sure to get full value with trade-in with AT&T. He even answered questions re: iOS and issues I've been having with my email set-up due to my recently changed AppleID email address. I called ahead of time to ask about replacing a battery of an old Motorola phone. Guy on the phone told me how much it would cost ($30 for part and $45 for work) and asked me to bring the phone in. I came by later that day with the phone. Guy took my info, told me he would order the part, and it would arrive in 3-5 days. He asked me if the person who talked to me on the phone asked for a deposit and I said no. Five days went by and they didn't call me about the arrival of my battery. So I called them. They NEVER ordered my part! Dude was all apologetic and said he was gonna make it right by overnighting my battery. Calls me back again to say it can't be done and that it will take 5 more days. Told him I couldn't wait 5 more days because the phone was for a relative who was leaving the country in 3 days. I paid 175$ to repair the screen on my Google Pixel 3a. It was steep and I considered just upgrading my phone but I decided I should go for it. Now I just wish I had upgraded. After a few days of having it the screen is noticeably worse quality. Colors are less bright at the range of darks is severely limited. Everything looks washed out. When the screen brightness is down it's absolutely terrible. Wouldn't recommend this place. read more

He could not locate a receipt acknowledge that I was dropping off my laptop and he was preoccupied with a scratch on his car instead of dealing with me as a customer. Absolutely the worst experience ever! My daughter was visiting us and had two small cracks in the corner of her iPhone's screen, under a screen protector, but I wanted her to have a good screen so I called ahead and asked how much it would be to replace the front screen and was told "$120, will take 15 minutes". We arrived the next day and the attendant looked at it and said, "ok, that will be, like, $169 and I'll need 45 minutes". I said I'd been told $120 over the phone. His response was, "oh, really, oh so you called, then OK, I'll do it for $120 and I'll need 50 minutes". We left the phone and came back an hour later and it looked great. However, less than a month later the phone stopped working (it had worked fine before bringing it in) and the new screen literally started to FALL OFF. My daughter took it into an Apple store where she lives and was told that it was clear the job had been done badly and that it seemed likely that it had been tampered with (parts removed) when the repair was done. And since a third-party business had replaced the screen, Apple no longer considers it an Apple phone and won't cover anything under warranty. The $120 repair will now cost us the added price of a new phone. read more

Broke my working phone and refused to fix it or stand by a fix I DEFIANTLY should have done myself. Ruined my phone (yes the ignorant owner did) just needed the glass replaced on my phone. He managed to completely as crotch the digitizer rendering the $100 fix useless. I wish I knew how little they cared. He also tried pursuing through all my private info on my phone such as my photos but unknowingly got his picture snapped a few times. Really terrific place. I've been here twice for two separate repairs. First to replace my charging port. I have a 5s and time has caught up with it. It was $40 dollars and the phone charges perfect now. The most recent time was to replace my speaker which I dropped and it stopped working. Both repairs were done quickly. The best part is the second repair they did for free! Because of their six month warranty and how close the two components are to each other they warranted the part and replaced both for no charge. read more

I am travelling currently, and stopped in to get my phone screen fixed. Service was exceptionally quick, dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the early afternoon. However the phone body was entirely trashed--the edges were marred by pry tools and looked like they had come in contact with a soldering iron. There's hardly any chance of being able to resell it now. The service was fast, but for the price I paid I expected much more competent technicians. I've done screen repairs before, but didn't have the resources at my disposal to do so. It is very possible to open phones non-destructively, and it baffles me that this is the kind of work passes as acceptable. read more

Don't go here. I came in with a laptop with water damage and the person I spoke with said they could run a diagnostic to see if my hard drive was ok for free. He said he would let me know and at that point I could decide whether I wanted him to pull the data and save it on a hard drive for me. He called and said the data was salvageable and that the diagnostic was $69. I asked why he said it was free. He said only free if there is nothing to recover. Makes no sense. Same work either way because I had not asked for anything else yet. Then he says it will cost $169, all in, to get the data on a hard drive. I said ok because I'd rather make sure I have my data than try to do it myself. Then I go to pick it up and they say it's $179. Unbelievable. I say no we agreed on $169. They charge tax and a fee for credit cards so all in it was $184. They did wind up giving me the originally agreed upon price. I have yet to discover if I actually have my data or not. But they seem like they're always trying to pull one over on their customers. Not coming back. I should have just bought a new computer at Apple and let them transfer the data for free, which they do if you buy a new computer. At this point buying a refurbished computer and going to this place will turn out to be the same cost, which obviously I was trying to avoid. Ridiculous. read more

Took my iPhone x to get screen replaced. The touch screen stopped working properly after the screen was replaced. Took the phone back and they were able to fix it. However, a month or so later the same problem occurred. Took it to the store and told them the issue continued and somehow I got water damage after a water spill. I hope the sealed the phone properly as this iphone is supposed to be water resistant. Not please with the work quality. I was left with a broken phone and regret taking it to this store. read more
