So I share with the world how cool Cox Market is with their quality products and competitive prices. But that was so 2017. Yeah, those delightful Clif bars with the Organic ingredients that were $2.29 else where and only $1.59 here have been hiked!! Bummer. Those organic goodies are full priced along with so many other items lining their shelves. When Cox first opened several years ago, it was awesome getting incredible deals on high quality items. Not any more darlings. Rent has probably increased a significant amount. And guess what?? So have the prices of their products. Funny how that works out. Oh well. That's life in the fast lane. I will probably just be buying several health related products that haven't yet seen a 50%-100% price increase. But the rest of my grocery items are going to bought else where. That's life too.

Veg, look at the sign for "org" to make sure it's organic.

Oh Cox... how much I wanted to just walk in and fall in love with you. Like the cruise you can't wait to go on and you spend the whole time seasick... it seems that most people in the area thought the fresh items would specialize in organic? That is really not the case here... yes the fruit and veg were beautiful and fresh... but i only buy organic. They had a few items towards the back with org on the tag, but alas it wasn't the majority of their space. I do applaud the shelves full of natural food products I was used to finding at Natural Grocery across town, but the natural meat selection looked slim. I'll be back to see if they got it all stocked and if they have some improvement in choices... otherwise I'll stick to the other places I go right now... a "Farmstead" down the street that has amazing "healthy" meat choices. Sigh... guess I'll try again.

If you still look closely by the stem you can see the juice beads on the mango! It was that Juicy and Delicious

Very glad to see if Farmers Market on this side of town! It is pretty awesome, I was expecting more of an actual Farmers Market but it kind of reminds me of a Sprouts grocery store. There is mostly a selection of different grocery Goods like cereals, soaps, Etc. Only one fourth of the store was actually a produce section. However it looks like once outside the other side of the lot is an actual Nursery full of plants! I bought a few pieces of random fruit just to try them out and see if it was a big difference from my mainstream grocery store. The mangoes were so juicy! There were juice beads literally on the outside of the mango! My other items were okay definitely a little overpriced but well worth it if they are truly Farm goods

A giant bag of Brownie Brittle for only $2.99!

Great quality-- I now exclusively buy produce here and find it much better than whole foods, trader joes, or Tom Thumb.

We drive an hour to come every 2 weeks and we get their produce, their oil that's always there, and this year we got our pumpkins AND a Christmas tree here. The cedar market ranch has quickly become a regular stop for my house hold on grocery day! Not only because of the fact I can get my entire grocery veggie and fruit haul for $30 or less, but the quality of the produce is always so fresh! The location is tucked away in the cedars of Dallas and honestly you would miss it if you don't have the exact address! It's inside of an old brick warehouse, which if you ask me, adds to the entire vibe of the establishment! To make it 10x better, they always have other local vendors and small businesses selling their product as well! My favorite part of it all is the fact that they open their doors for other local businesses. Our favorite has quickly become their food vendor in the front, Lola's kitchen! And on top of that, they have a coffee shop in side as well! How can it get any better!!! Their service is always a 10/10! You can definitely feel the family vibes! Which is a big reason we keep coming back! If you are ever in the area, I recommend stopping in! I know we will be back for sure!

One of the weekends each month they do food products only, and the other Saturday it's kind of an open fair thing where anyone can go so you'll get people who make all sorts of things. We're particularly partial to the local meats from Windy Hill because they are always delicious. This lady from Waggin' Tail treats comes there a lot too and she makes the best dog treats ever. Also there's a company that brings fresh pasta called Lucido's Produce & Herbs which is phenomenal. They even have frozen ravioli in all kinds of flavors which are omgtodiefor. The vendors either take cash or check. You can get cash from inside the gas station, the cashier will do it for you for a $2 charge (like an ATM). It's in the parking lot of the Green Spot Market & Fuels, which also has probably the best taco place in Dallas (Good 2 Go Taco). Awesome! Overall, I absolutely love this part of my community and I'm going to miss it terribly when I move next year. Super cute local market in Lakewood!…read more I think the term "farmers market" is a misnomer since there was only an itty bitty selection of produce and fresh foods. What they do offer is lots of local products like baked goods, soaps, salsas and unique crafts. I love supporting small, local businesses so this market is right up my alley. I copped some yummy French macaroons and a spicy marinade that I can't wait to try with some fish for dinner. It's small and the location changes every other week so be sure to check their website before you head out. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area but I would not make a special trip or anything.

Great place to meet friends and let everybody pick what they want to eat. On the last visit, I chose the pizza and was blown away by it. The Vietnamese place is a close second. The farmers market is hellishly hot midday in the summer, despite having a high shade structure. My biggest complaint, though, is the lack of parking. It continues to shrink yearly. Be prepared to spend some time looking for a parking space or possibly dropping a wad on a surface lot. I was shocked to pay $18.50 for a 2 1/2 hour visit. If you do use this expensive lot between the food hall and the restaurant, be prepared to utilize your phone to pay, and choose a short amount of time. You can always extend your visit with their app, but if you overestimate your length of stay, you can't get money back.
