I wished all visits like this was easy. I was in and out within 20 minutes. We came to discuss internet options now that the Affordable Connectivity Plan program is ending (which took off an additional 30 dollars off my plan). Turns out that my plan I was grandfathered on (which was 50 dollars a month) had sunsetted and I was automatically upgraded to the plan that cost 155 dollars a month. I nearly fell out. The guy I talked to ran a couple of numbers. Took a look at my past data usage. Asked me a ton of questions and eventually was able to find a plan that would only be 90 dollars a month. He was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. After 20 minutes we decided to go with that option with a follow up plan to come back in a months time to discuss other options if that proves to be unsustainable. Store was clean, there wasn't a ton of people, there were two workers, there was some products on the wall to cross promote other services. Only thing I didn't like is how pushy the guy I was working with was with switching over my cell plan. I said no 2x and on the third time I just ignored him.

A puppy bit up my Cox remote and I went to the Cox Store hoping to get a replacement. I was greeted immediately and was provided a replacement remote without any issues or questions. We had a good conversation and I was thrilled I didn't have to purchase the remote.

If you want excellent service please ask for this young lady.

Plus a manager. No customers. Needed assistance returning a cell spot. Phone support guided me to visit any store for assistance. Visited this location. First store associate greeted me, so far so good, she was friendly. Question seems beyond her knowledge base, logically refers me to the manager, fair enough. Manager's immediate response, go to another store near the stadium. I explain what phone support shared. Zero consideration to attempt to assist. I share this is becoming a timely experience just to return a piece of equipment I was supposed to receive a return label for, but did not. She holds firm and does not attempt to assist. I leave... Call support again. Same exact feedback. Any store can assist if they call support themselves. Further feedback. The store should've called us and known we could assist. Now I'm two calls in to support and preparing for my second store visit. For the same requirement. I get it. We're all working hard. Hours are long. The pandemic was horrible and many are still recovering. But, just treat folks like you want to be treated. Make a simple phone call. Help someone asking for your help. It might, dare I say, make you feel good for a couple minutes. Neither friendly nor helpful in the slightest. Hate to say this about any buisness. Vote with your wallet. Go else where.

Walked in and the bald guy said they couldn't take it. Didn't even try. Didn't look into my account. Asked him why not and he said it has to go to a corporate store. Asked for his help (he wasn't busy, no other customers behind me) to call a corporate store and he wouldn't. Then I saw him pack up and realized he prolly didn't want to help me because he was almost done with his shift. Asked the next lady that just started and she said they same thing, but again didn't even try. Said it was a mistake that both the T-Mobile website and my text directly from T-Mobile said I could drop off my trade-in in store. Called T-Mobile corporate and they said I should have been able to no problem. Ended up going to T-Mobile on University in City Heights. Those guys were helpful and helped me without any issues. They took my trade-in without any hiccups. T-Mobile North Park on El Cajon is a JOKE.

I visited this Verizon store around two years ago, as a customer and amn individual going through a lot of unforeseen circumstances that were outside of my understanding and control. It was a very tough time period-- the logistical barriers/obstacles, my mental health, and the disparity & juxtaposition between how I remember San Diego (as an undergraduate student at UC San Diego, which I suppose is La Jolla) were all disorienting. My phone went missing while I was commuting and "Fine My Device" marked its location that it was around the bus stop close to the San Diego Zoo. Unfortunately, I couldn't retrieve it. Thankfully, I could afford to get another phone through a family member. They ordered one for me and I just stumbled upon this store because it was nearby. There were no issues with the new Samsung Galaxy, at the time of opening the box/casing. It was new, and it served me mostly well until I decided to move away from San Diego. Thank God there was a way to communicate through this very challenging time period. I was cop-ing, sketch-ing, and test-ing my way through landscapes and lifescapes and cityscapes, for the sake of my mental health. This review has almost nothing to do with this store or with Verizon, sorry... but I remember that the employees (Customer Service, I think) at this store were OK. They did not strike me as disrespectful, even though I did not get the impression that they were tech experts or tech-literate. Simply remembering that they were somewhat respectful says a lot, from this time period...

HORRIBLE SERVICE PLS READ…read moreI have been going here to purchase my iPhone for years and had the WORST experience in my life with a person who named started with an H short curly hair. I came in to get 2 screens replaced for 2 iPhones that have been off for at least a month due to screen damage . When I walk in i tell him I need just the screens replaced and he tells me $100 for both and I agree and he says about 45 minutes . I walk around the area and come back a lil early to him talking on the phone to a friend about making money for inappropriate things . He said I was early cuz he was too busy with his friend on the phone talking what I would later realize was my photos and info he looked up on me and my brother ( one iPhone was unlocked my bad after this experience) I said I would return in a few hours and when I came back the shop had shut down for his lunch and beer break. When I returned he handed me the phones i paid and he asked if i recycle ( weird question) cuz he wanted me take his and his friends beer bottle and lied and said he can't touch due to religious beliefs ( a lie ) . I recycled them and when returning home realized both phones had passwords and that nothing connected to my devices as they had to be reset as new devices (switched phones or batteries) and had to login into Apple This was my first red flag as screen replacement in the past never had this issue . Next I remember he asked how long I had phones because he switched my batteries that I had checked before purchasing at their location and confirmed his Switch and Bait by looking at battery health which was now at 77% when was at 88% and other at 82%. I checked the battery usage and it had indicated they both had been on for the past week and I hadn't used them in a month . Both phones say they overheat now an issue I never had before this incident)Switched my good batteries or phones for used ones. I also asked about charging pack he said he had a personal one that he enjoys and when I turn over had a sticky note with recall date on it ( another lie ) . This person is by far the worst person I have dealt with in my life . I then checked the saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections and realized they were none I recognized or added ( another clear indication of his deceitful actions ) I called and spoke to him and he could barely keep his story together and hung up. When I would try to return I noticed he had the haircut shop workers be look outs for me so he could close up and hide in the back until I left . This used to be a great place sad one person can ruin a business relationship with a good customer. I will be telling everyone I can about this person and his inappropriate business dealings

I told them I have a gamer (PC and PS5) in the house with a phone and laptop. We have 3 TV to stream. 3 additional phones, 2 tablets. They assured me their service could handle it all! For less than $50 a month. HOWEVER YOU MIST SWITCH TO OUR CELLULAR SERVICE TO GET INTERNET. They force their crappy cellular service on you before you know if the internet service even works. After all the salesman talk about assurances of comparable product to cox, maps showing their huge range of coverage (wrong!), I decided to go for it. We needed to save money. I tried using their internet modem for 3 days before I got completely fed up, frustrated and angry! I was able to cancel the internet service and received 1/2 of the equipment charge. All good except for the fact that the cell service is HORRIBLE. I feel "stuck" with them until I can afford 4 activation fees again. Because they know their internet service sucks, they make you use their cell service so they get you locked in. If they were confident that they have a good product, they wouldn't need to "sell all or nothing". It's a trap. Im sure most people are not satisfied. Their cell service Has left me stranded and unsafe, with no cell service in the middle of the city!! I couldn't call for a ride or go online to schedule an Uber. I can't use the service most places I go. Currently I am in a beach city in San Diego, about 4 miles from downtown. I Can't get internet, YouTube for music, etc. I'm in an office using their wi-Fi! Also, since we started using their cell service, Our phones started acting up; jumping all over, more pop ups, needing to reboot phone, always lagging! Not consistent. Not stable. Not dependable. Not with a dime! I was perfectly happy with Cricket Cell. I am going back to them after 3 months of having Metro by T-Mobile. Cricket charged me $100 for 4 lines and they had great service. Paying t-mobile the same is the same as burning your money. What a waste.
