I closed my account months ago. T-Mobile keeps sending me statements in the US mail, like the one I received 5-31-26, with a credit balance of $60.43. I've asked them to send me a check for the $60.43 to my address on the statement. On a phone call to them on 5-31-26, they gave me a Refund ID #: 50070784229. They told me they would text me confirmation that day, but they never did. I went into a local store, I called them with the store representative on the phone, they said they would Email me a confirmation/receipt within three days, I never received it. read more

I sat in this store 3146 sports arena blvd for over a half hour simply to ask why I haven't received a phone they advised me I would get in 3 days seven days ago. I had another appointment I had to get to and someone who came after me was assisted before me. I was upset and so I asked the guy named Jimmy why he didn't help me since I was next in line on their list and I had been sitting there. With his disgusting attitude he said he didn't have to help and he wouldn't because he owns the store. I asked the girl who was there if he actually owned the store and she said yes. Well, I know he doesn't own T-Mobile. So, I followed up with their customer care. I actually changed services to T-Mobile because of recommendation by friends, after 22 years of services with ATT. So far I have discovered this establishment has no customer service etiquette - they lie - and they are rude. I got screwed one more time w this guys. I talked to a guy called Stephen Kane and he offered me a militar plan I told him I wasn't military or first responded and he told me to don't worry cause it is a normal procedure. I brought 2 more lines and after 3 months they sent me a text asking me to update my information. I went to the store and Karina M said she couldn't do anything about it and the procedure was ilegal but everyone can do it at the store (probably to bring more accounts) and than after 3 months you will have the surprise. read more

I can honestly tell you that when I walked into the T Mobile store in Sports Arena that I wasn't sure if I'd get to talk to any representative or get help regarding a replacement iPhone I had lost while on vacation. The store was PACKED with customers, with a line forming and reforming outside the business. I got there around 4PM and they closed at 6. The sheer amount of customers lined up needing assistance could've easily overwhelmed most employees in any type of business. As I watched these four employees cycle through their tasks I realized I had come to the right place, regardless of the crush of requests. Andres A, was the employee who really stood out initially as he was the person responsible for checking in all entrants as they came through the door to get them in que. One after the other, Andres welcomed each group or individual as they walked into the business. That's not easy to do, as he was attending to a customer purchasing a Wi-Fi system. He got them organized on a tablet and calmly told each one of them they would be helped and about how long the wait would be. He then would go back to working one on one with customers. I left the store when they said they would call me when I was next. I got home and immediately received a call from Joanna R. saying to come back and get processed. It was 5:15. Everyone before me was not at the store anymore, they had been helped and I couldn't believe it. She and Kerr then helped me get the phone I needed, unlock my Apple ID account , restore all data, and hand over a new product. Keep in mind this business closes at 6PM. I walked out of T Mobile at 6:38PM. I don't know who trained these employees but they went over and above for not only me, but each person walking through that door. I went this morning to this location because I got a new phone and didn't know how to transfer my data to the new phone, also had a few more questions abouth my accounts, my new Galaxy, about some apps etc etc, the store opened at 10am sharp, and the guy who helped me was super helpful, I told him I was very bad with technology and he made me feel very comfortable, he was patient and he solved my problems and answered all my questions. Not only was Ben Friendly and personable, but super knowledgeable, and thorough. When we had advanced questions related to our business plan and getting phones at another location, he was quick to answer, or make use of his other contacts at the company to help us as best as he possibly could. I bought a brand new Samsung S4 on 26 March. After having it for ELEVEN days, a crack appeared on the screen. I just paid hundreds of dollars for this new phone and accessories and then had to pay $ 175 for my insurance deductible. Two days later I got a box with an obviously used and refurbished phone. I called and spoke with customer loyalty. The said to return the refurbished to store for an even exchange for a NEW Samsung S4. The store employees were unable to make this work in their computer even though it was promised to me by t-mobile customer loyalty. I have had the refurb phone now for about 24 hours. It has shut off randomly twice, won't charge properly and gets extremely hot. The store manager, Jessie treated me in a condescending, rude and patronizing way. I finally had to tell him that I was in longer going to speak to him as he tried to convince again how great this refurb phone was, that I was coming up with ridiculous hypothetical scenarios and that the refurbished phone was even better than the brand new one that I had just spent hundreds of dollars on an was only able to use for eleven days. Lauren, however, is an amazing sales rep and does her job wonderfully. She went above and beyond to try to get me the new phone that was promised to me and treated me with respect and made me feel like a valued customer for the hours I was in the store. She deserves a promotion and Jessie could use some serious brushing up on customer service and an attitude adjustment. read more

Stellar customer service is when an employee lends out their own personal phone until your replacements comes in. My phone that was still under warranty died, I called around and found out T-mobile has loaner cell phones they will provide gratis if your phone dies and is under warranty. Unfortunately, the quantity of these loaner phones is few and far inbetween. Fortunately, they do exist because I never heard of such a thing when I was with a competitior carrier that I won't mention by name but rhymes with Brint PCS. Anyway, I call a few different T-mobile locations and someone at this location tells me they will be getting one returned that day. I go in to pick up my loaner phone so I can reconnect with the world (since of course I don't actually know any phone numbers anymore). The guy tells me they don't have any loaner phones at that time, they were all out. I explained, "well, I called in and was told, blah, blah, blah...". My diatribe must have unknowingly been accompanied with a total distraught look on my face because before I could say 'lickety split' did I have one of the employee's own personal phone to use as my "loaner". Customer service is big with me and this was huge. I ended up making home-made chocolate chip cookies that day and dropped them off still warm from the oven. One other really nice thing is that with the new phone they ordered, they also ordered the extended life battery (gratis again) AND let me keep my old charger and battery as well. All I needed to send back was the actual dead phone. I really, really love having an extra battery as well as a second charger that I can keep at work. p.s. it occured to me that the alternative carrier not mentioned above can't give out loaner because they don't use SIM cards. I have to say, I've really enjoyed having T-Mobile for years. Their customer service is excellent, and this location is no different. Anytime I've ever had any kind of problem or concern, not only do the people here help me sort it out, they even tell me to call customer service and receive the same service for free (like changing my number). There's no "take a number" feeling (I'm looking at you, Verizon across the street), and there's no pressure when you walk in. The store is very clean, very open, and everyone is nice. The only reason they lose a star is sometimes the workers sound right out of a book. I understand that's the case, but make me believe it's not. After having a tremendous amount of trouble with T-Mobile reps over the phone, I was hesitant to have to deal with the reps in person. I had just started service with T-mobile and was already experiencing issues with my account. I waited until I received my new phone in the mail to go in to the store and speak with someone about making several changes to my account. I went in expecting to endure another hassle yesterday afternoon. There were only two people working and there were a couple people ahead of me. I did have to wait about 10-15 minutes to get help but I am not going to knock them for being busy. The company just ditched contracts and are offering screaming deals, of course they're busy. In fact, I applaud the staff's calm and helpful demeanor even through the business. I wish I could remember the rep's name that helped me... He had a buzzed head is about all I remember. He remembered me from the time I had come in before and knew what I had already dealt with so he made it a lot easier for me and got me in and out fairly quickly. He was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. I also witnessed this customer service among the other staff/customers while I was waiting. I was ready to cancel my service after what I went through initially, but now that I know that I can go to places like this T-Mobile location, I feel a lot more at ease. read more

After previous troubles elsewhere, I found T-Mobile Sports Arena Blvd through Yelp. Hands down, my time there today was everything I knew my first T-Mobile experience could be. Service was very professional, thorough, and extremely fast and efficient! We were out of there in less than an hour, for what should have been a fairly difficult issue to resolve. Ryan and (Stephanie I think her name was?) were awesome! For those that have read a previous review of mine for T-Mobile Clairemont Mesa, you can bet your bottom dollar I regret not having come to T-Mobile Sports Arena Blvd in the first place. Today's Lesson? Ditch the company 'store locator' and ALWAYS check Yelp.com first! Notes: The one dollar sign price rating I'm giving T-Mobile is for the GREAT rates. Don't believe the marketing hype for the other carriers out there. Buy your own phone and go for a SIM-card only plan through T-Mobile, and you'll be saving huge in the long term over all the others. The only drawback right now is that the 1900MHZ 3G refarm as well as the HSPA+ 42 4G (as well as LTE) rollout is far from complete. Now I just hope they can stay in business! read more
