First time at Coyo and it didn't disappoint. I kept hearing about Coyo when I first moved to Miami but hadn't gotten around to checking out the wynwood location. This location is clean and spacious with plenty of room indoors and some outdoor seating as well. I tried the duck burrito bowl and it was so good. Honestly everything about it was good... Truly nice place but over priced and you pay for every single tiny side of anything. I liked the tacos except for the fact that I ordered 6 tacos non spicy and ended up eating spicy as hell tacos. I informed the order taker of the issue and nothing was done to make me new ones. So after spending close to $ 70.00 dollars on chips and 6 tacos I say I won't ever be back . Service was terrible. Okay spot, there are probably better but if you're working in the area this is a nice lunch spot. The food came out in maybe 3 minutes, super fast. As far as the food.. the al pastor: greasy. You can see that in the picture and maybe it's just me but I'm used to al pastor off a spindle. The pollo was standard... wasn't blown away but didn't have a bad experience which is why I gave it 4 stars. I'll be trying others before I go here again. They should double wrap their tacos with 2 tortillas due to the grease and liquids from their meat. I can see this place being a go-to for locals but nothing to really bring me back again. read more

My first visit was today. Friendly staff and good food. Nothing was wrong and maybe its just me but please label the sauces as Mild, Medium and Hot or Spicy... The tacos were good but my mouth was buring because I didnt know which one was hot or spicy... the labels only say names. We order from Coyo Taco a few times a month but never again. First, they were very late but didn't update GrubHub about that fact. I spoke to a GrubHub customer service agent later about this. I ended up calling 4 times to the restaurant to check on our meal. 3/4 of the times, the rude woman on the other end told me that it was out for delivery. On the 4th time she said that it had been delivered. So I call my concierge with her on the phone and they told me someone came around 30 minutes before and dropped off the order but for another apartment who weren't at home. It was downstairs. I had called Coyo Taco within this 30 minutes, and they didn't tell me it had been delivered. I then asked how come they got the apartment wrong. They said they didn't, it was correct. I said, are you saying that my doorman is a liar? They said, well our driver isn't. Then why didn't your driver tell you he delivered the food? It never even updated in the GrubHub app to say it was delivered. Also, by the time he delivered it, 30 minutes prior to us getting it, it was 8:00 pm. We ordered at 6:30 pm. That is way later than usual. For the $65 we spent on cold tacos, GrubHub gave us back $20 in a coupon. Be careful, apparently these people don't need more customers for their overpriced "hipster" tacos. read more

They're a tad larger so you get a little more taco for your loot. The flour is a stronger construction and doesn't wither and fall apart like those feeble corn wraps. If you prefer the authentic corn out of pure respect for culture, that's fine... just keep your mouth shut and you'll get corn. But you gotta be loco ordering corn on a to-go order. You better get a dinglehopper. Because that's asking for a soggy pile of taco mush and an upsetting taco experience. Also Coyo makes a mean mother of a quesadilla. Try that too. Calling in an order to pick up is one of the most frustrating things. You call, they put you on hold (regardless if they are busy or not) and have the music BLASTING. The people answering phones and taking your order can't hear a word you are saying. They also ask for your credit card so you have to give the info about three-four Times before they hear you. Then they continue to ask questions and ask you to repeat it about 4 times. It's beyond annoying and not worth it. Go somewhere else for fast Mexican!!! read more

Taco Tuesday = discounted tacos during happy hour! Stopped here on the recommendation of my cousin. The menu board was in spanish but luckily they have an English menu if you ask! I ordered the chicken tacos, chips and guac (chips aren't free). The tacos came filled to the top with ingredients. They were yummy and had a little KICK to them.
