    Crispy Chicken Tinga Taco.

We pass here often and decided to stop by. The outside patio was empty (it was hot and FIFA was playing indoors) but inside had a nice crowd. We sat outdoors and waited for menus. Our waiter was nice but it was a bit of a language barrier. The food came out in intervals instead of all together. We ordered strawberry and mango margaritas along with a shot of tequila. The margaritas were very thick. I'm not sure what they use but it didn't taste very good. The carne asada tacos were bland. The chicken taco was ok and the little one really like the burrito. No sauces were provided or suggested so I went inside to ask for some. We used a promo so we were given $25 off the bill. It was expected miami prices so that wasn't an issue but I doubt we'd go back.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place to go! When you see the small menu you know why they know exactly what there doing here. My waiter was Robert he had great recommendations and was very nice! The carne asada was my favorite it was incredible! You'd think tortilla and meat and no toppings would be lacking in flavor but this was not. The meat was so tender and packed with flavor. If this place was closer to broward I would be here on a weekly basis. The seating when I went was like an open space, not really indoors. But it's nice that they have fans. I went in the evening so the weather wasn't too bad

Fun little spot to end up on cinco de mayo. Very casual with indoor and outdoor seating. Nice tacos, but the burrito was far more satisfying. I felt the server inattentive unfortunately. We had to chase her down a few times to put more items in. I'd give it another go if I were in the area, but nothing stood out to me as a must revisit.

Went to tacombi today to try and hide from the rain and it was so cute! I love the retro taqueria decor and the outside seating! The staff was super friendly and service was great! We tried the lunchtime taco plato which is their lunch special, it was so yummy! Loved the al pastor tacos but wish the carne asada had a lil more flavor! The rice and beans were super yummy!

What a fun event! The drinks and food were absolutely great! Tacombi just opened up in Brickell and it's in such a great location. I love the inside/outside concept they have going on. The patio area is super cute, there's string lights going across the patio and you have a beautiful view of downtown Brickell. The service was good, Rafael was very nice. The tacos were delicious, I love that they add a slice of pineapple to each taco. The meat had great flavor! The esquite was good, the sauce mixed in had a kick to it. Don't forget to get a cocktail, they were strong but good. The atmosphere was great, everyone was chatting and enjoying the night. Definitely will be coming back, a great spot to pregame and grab a bite before taking on the Brickell night life.

We were on a walk from our hotel looking for a nearby dinner option (after traveling all day) and the delicious smells drew us in. The restaurant is inside of a courtyard so you don't see much from the outside. Inside feels very welcoming with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu includes an assortment of taco choices and burritos. The drink menu is solid with margaritas, cerveza and non-alcoholic options including Mexican Coke (if you know, you know). We got two margaritas which were strong but well-balanced and refreshing. We each got an assortment of tacos and the esquites. No complaints. The birria tacos were the highlight. Fish tacos come with either fried or seared fish. We got one of each and they were both good. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Miami includes the tip as part of the bill which we know from previous trips, but the server made sure we understood this. Definitely a great start to this trip!

This place feels like a hard to get into taco Tuesday spot! I pass by this place after the gym and have wanted to try them out however every time I go there has been a new event or long line. Today I waited about 20 minutes to get a table despite open tables throughout the venue. Once seated they immediately came to take our order not giving much time to review the menu. On Tuesdays the tacos are BOGO. My favorite one was the birria taco which came with a side of birria consommé that added more juice and flavor. The Al pastor was pretty average but also a good selection. My only gripe was while the initial service was quick, once you had your food they barely checked on you and you had to flag someone down for the check. When we got the check we were advised gratuity was included, which is always appreciated. I'd definitely come back but earlier on a Tuesday afternoon.

What started off as a casual Sunday stroll with our dog turned into an impromptu dinner at Tacombi, just a few steps from Brickell City Centre. We were early in the evening so things were not super busy. We were immediately seated outside and got to looking at the menu. We kicked things off with the Corn Esquites ($4.98), which came in a cup. They were the perfect balance of creamy, spicy, and citrusy. We could've ordered another round of them as both my wife and I love nicely done corn-based dishes. The La Bisteca Burrita ($1498) was massive and packed with flavor--definitely the most filling item we ordered. The Al Pastor Quesadilla ($9.98) was rich and satisfying, but the standout had to be the Birria Tacos ($6.49 a taco); savory, cheesy, and everything you want them to be. I also enjoyed a spicy margarita rimmed with tajin ($16) refreshing with just the right kick. Prices are a bit on the higher side for casual Mexican, but the food quality can't be disputed. Tacombi is solid spot to keep in your Brickell rotation for Mexican food! I hear they have a great happy hour, so we have to check that out sometime soon.

Had such a great experience at Tacombi! Rafael provided excellent service, he was super friendly and attentive. The tacos were absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The margaritas were also amazing! Can't wait to come back!

good service and the tacos were great. I've been to tacombi in New York a couple times but I had a better experience at this one. Our waiter (I think I remember his name being Hernan) was so nice and the tacos were good. I got one al pastor and a Baja fish taco, both were good and well filled. The area is so cute with both indoor and outdoor parts. The decorations and furniture really add to the ambiance.

I was really excited to try Tacombi as it was recommended by a friend! The entire restaurant is basically outdoor as there is no door separating the interior seating from the outdoor seating. Once I got to the booth, I was quickly taken to a table and given menus and water. I tried different kinds of tacos and my favorites were the crispy fish taco and the birria taco by far. The fish was crispy on the outside but incredibly soft and flaky on the inside and went super well with the sauce and cabbage in the taco. The birria taco had a hard shell and came with a side of consommé to eat with it. The meat was quite juicy and the consommé was very flavorful. I thought the ribeye in the ribeye taco was cooked very well and the pepper added some nice heat. I was most disappointed by the al pastor and felt that the meat was tough and didn't have much flavor. I would skip that one and get more crispy fish tacos in the future.

What an incredible random find on our first night of our Miami trip! We've walked by this place every visit but never tried it. We have a friend that recommended this place to us last night 1/20 and it was amazing. I think they were having a special event and they gave us little cups of esquite as soon as we walked in. German was extremely welcoming and explained to us that tacos and beers were free tonight. Usually free doesn't mean quality but the barbacoa tacos were full of flavor and the consume was not oily and extremely flavorful. They just kept giving us beers and the service was better than alot of regular restaurants you pay at. Amazing service, atmosphere, food, and people. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu next year!

Biscayne Bay Brewing nails the balance between laid-back charm and elevated flavors. I started with a margarita that was surprisingly delightful--bright, balanced, and not overly sweet. It set the tone perfectly. I also sampled one of their signature beers, and it was everything you'd want from a local brew: crisp, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. For bites, we shared the fish dip and hummus--both winners. The fish dip had that smoky, briny depth that pairs beautifully with a cold drink, and the hummus was smooth, fresh, and generously portioned. The location itself is a vibe: welcoming, stylish, and perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after a long day. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Biscayne Bay Brewing is worth the stop.

The biggest thing for me was the overall energy and engagement from the staff. I'm naturally a pretty social and engaged person, especially when I'm sitting at a bar, and I made an effort to interact with the bartenders. I just didn't really feel that same engagement coming back. Nobody was necessarily rude or disrespectful--it just felt disconnected, and the energy was a little strange to me. I also didn't realize until I tried to pay that the bar doesn't accept cash. Maybe that was posted somewhere and I missed it, and once they told me, it wasn't a big deal. But little things like that, combined with the overall interaction, affected the experience. Another thing I didn't realize until receiving my check was that gratuity was already included. I wasn't verbally told about it, and I personally didn't see it disclosed anywhere beforehand. From my understanding, an automatic gratuity or service charge is required to be disclosed to the guest before the purchase, not something they should only discover when they receive the check. Maybe there was a notice somewhere that I missed, so I'm not saying there wasn't one, but I definitely wasn't aware of it. I think that's an important thing for guests to know upfront, especially because someone could easily add another tip without realizing gratuity was already included. Ironically, the one person I genuinely connected with and had a good conversation with was another guest at the bar, not a member of the staff. That interaction actually helped make my time there more enjoyable. For me, hospitality is about more than serving a drink. Especially when someone is clearly open, friendly, and trying to engage, that's an easy opportunity to create a connection and turn a first-time guest into someone who wants to come back. I felt like I gave plenty of opportunities for that interaction, but it just never really happened. I still had a good time because I can have a good time pretty much anywhere, and nothing happened that would make me say Lost Boys is a bad bar. It just didn't feel like the staff cared much about enhancing the experience beyond serving the drinks. So four stars because I respect what the place is and can see why it works as a neighborhood bar. It just didn't give me a reason to come back, and personally, I don't think I would.
