WOW...what a fun area! It reminded me of Chico downtown with restaurants and cute shops! I first stopped in here. It's a cute pub and grill focusing on alot of Irish beers. Very casual atmosphere. I had the shepherd pub tots which were really good. Because I was traveling I had them put the shepherd pie on the side so it would stay better. The service is always warm and welcoming, and the friendly atmosphere has never changed. We've come for both lunch and dinner, and we've never been disappointed. On our most recent visit, we tried the bavarian sampler, and it completely blew us away. Every bite was packed with flavor, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Over the years, Sutter Buttes Brewing has become one of our favorite comfort spots, whether it's during the fall, winter, or summer. It's the kind of place where you always feel welcomed and know you'll have a great meal and excellent service. However, what hasn't changed is my experience with the owner. During our interaction for this possible charge, he told me that he wished a slow and painful death on me and my family. I also never received a follow-up call or an apology. Regardless of the outcome of the payment dispute, I believe no customer should ever be spoken to that way. I'm updating my review to reflect both the resolution of the dispute and my experience with the visual of credited transaction. The dispute may be resolved, but the way you treated my family is something I won't forget. You can replace money. You can't take back the words you chose to say. I hope no other customer has to experience what we did.

We have been there every weekend for the past 3 weeks, never seen this girl, and all of a sudden refuses to serve us because one person has a completely valid ID, and she just wants to cause chaos. She refused to compare our IDs to prove the validity, and refused to budge. It was a valid ID, and the bartender was just being stubborn and didn't want to admit her mistake. It's really a shame because we live in walking distance and we're really enjoying being able to walk down and play pool and have a beer. Now we'll be going elsewhere.
