Chicken bacon ranch burger

The food was amazing! My food looked so good that I had to take a bite before I took the picture..... the chicken was tender and moist! The fried green beans were PERFECT, the best I've had! The service was fantastic! I also had a margarita that was good. I will definitely be back.

Grilled Chicken Philly Wrap with Onion Rings

I can't say enough about this place. Really good atmosphere, great food and even better service. If you've never tried this gem in Springfield, MO give them a try, you'll be glad you did. Great drink specials, and big selection of draft beer. It's also an awesome place to watch any game any time of the year with their multiple big screens all over the restaurant.

The Roost definitely has one of the best burgers in town! I usually go for either the Bacon Ranch Burger or the Jalapeño Burger. The Chipotle Ranch is fantastic. They make the burgers from fresh beef and whatever it is they season them with, I am a fan! I recommend the waffle fries, fried mushrooms and the onion rings. The fried mushrooms and onion rings are fresh battered...and delicious. The fried pickles are also very good here. There are plenty of TV's and a couple of projector screens to watch whatever sporting event is on that day, and if there is a Cardinal's game on, it will be on the projector.

Fried mushrooms were amazing!!' They actually hand batter their food so everything tasted great and fresh! We had hand battered chicken dinner. The burger was really juicy. Don't forget to dip your fried food with chipotle ranch dip!! Happy hours $5 apps, $2 wells drink all day Thursday. Great quality American food!

This evening I had a chance to dine at the original Roost our server was Abby she was amazing kind knowledgeable and just a pleasant person. The food was amazing yummy yummy yummy you should definitely take your time out and come to the original roost on sunshine

Fish and Chips unfortunately had burned cod pieces and was inedible. I normally love this place, but today, it was 'off'.

The variety of different sports on was great, and the patty melts are the best things on the menu.definitely better than what I make.

The food is good. Drinks a little pricey. Service varries. Too crowded and loud. Atmosphere average. Overall a good place but not great.

The time I went it was very cold inside, bring a jacket just in case. The food was very good. Great portions and won't break the bank.

The bartender was so friendly and attentive! It's pretty simple, straightforward bar food, but it was hot and exactly what we needed when little else was open. Cold beer, not too noisy, perfect laid-back dive bar. If we lived in town, I'm sure we'd be back! Highly recommended.

You won't find KJ Brewskies on any influencer's list of must-visit spots -- and that's exactly why…read moreit's worth your time. It sits off the main drag, the kind of bar you notice only after you've driven past it a dozen times. But step inside, and you'll realize it's one of those rare places that still knows what a bar is supposed to be. The lights are low, the air is easy, and the bar top -- polished smooth from years of elbows and stories -- gleams under the amber bulbs. The bartender greets you like an old friend, even if you've never been here before. He keeps a clean bar, tight and organized, every glass shining like it's got a reputation to uphold. People don't come to KJ Brewskies for the food. Sure, there's something hot and fried if you need it, but this isn't a place for plating or pretense. You come here for the people, the atmosphere, the simple comfort of a cold beer that doesn't cost you half a paycheck. The jukebox doesn't take quarters anymore -- progress, I suppose -- but the music's still good. Old country. Classic rock. Songs that sound better when they're a little too loud. Over in the corner, someone's lining up a pool shot. Darts whistle through the air. Shuffleboard pucks slide and kiss the end of the table with a satisfying clack. What makes this place special, though, is how it shifts with the seasons. When the weather turns warm, they throw open the doors and roll out the crawfish pots. It's all elbows, laughter, and the unmistakable smell of spice and beer in the air. Fall might bring a chili cook-off, winter maybe a small charity drive -- each one another excuse for the regulars and newcomers alike to gather, eat, drink, and remember what community feels like. KJ Brewskies isn't trying to be anything more than what it is. It's a good bar -- honest, lived-in, alive. A place to forget the headlines, to talk about nothing important, to exist for a few hours without explanation. Places like this are getting harder to find. And maybe that's why, when you walk out into the night -- the jukebox still humming behind you -- you already know you'll be back.

We chose some comfy chairs next to the large windows that overlook downtown Springfield. I'm absolutely obsessed with the ambiance. It was dark, moody, classy, and modern. I bet it looks very different during the day when all the natural light comes through! Our sever Elias was quite memorable! He's very attentive and personable, and his outgoing, bubbly personality is contagious. For reference, he literally skipped around rather than walking as he went to and from our table to check on us. It seemed like he was having so much fun and genuinely enjoys working there. I enjoyed a glass of sauvignon blanc. Very small glass for the price in my opinion, but no complaints about the taste. My partner had an espresso martini that was also served in a rather small glass, but it was strong and delicious. Love that they offer so many mocktail options on their menu as well! Next time I'm in town, I'd love to visit again to sit outside and try some of their appetizers. Everything sounded amazing!

It's a very small place with a classic "U" shaped bar. Like most dives the seating revolves around bar seating, with a few tables in the back for a more social setting. Full bar, and some of the coldest beer I've ever had. They also have some decent bar food. Burgers, nachos, pizza, pork sandwiches, and pretzels. The good- drinks are extremely reasonable, and the food was great for bar food. Nice outside seating, plenty of parking. The Bad- Smoking, I know these small towns at till allow it, but yuck especially in a small place. Cell phone service can be nonexistent for some providers, and finally it took over an hour to get my food. I understand there's only one tender who makes drinks and food, but an hour is too long.
