This place was huge compared to the other stores in downtown. It was filled with locally-made items and food from the area and county. There were so many unique gifts and items here. We spent over an hour in the store browsing! My friend and I spent over 5 minutes talking to Patty in the food section listening to her talk about each vendor she personally worked with and knew. You could hear the passion in her voice when describing each item. The scones mix, she explained, took the chef over a year to perfect, the hot sauces, she knew every little detail. She was so knowledgeable and welcoming. In fact, all the employees we interacted with were so helpful. I've had Lundberg organic brown rice many times as they used to carry it at my Costco but I had no idea they made rice chips. One of the other employees said she went to high school with the Lundberg's kids! There were so many things I wanted to bring back home but couldn't. It will just warrant another trip up to Chico in the near future! Thank you to the staff here for making us feel so welcome on our first visit ever to Chico!

We love supporting our local community and we love even more that the local community has great products. After a short and minimally bumpy ride into the main parking space, you are met with this very peaceful spot. Upon entering, it's so dangerous because you can easily walk out having bought one of everything. So I decided to cook them overnight expecting that by breakfast they would be just perfect. Nope, still crunchy. After a google search I learned that the beans were old. I caution you in purchasing edibles at this store. I had to toss the soup after paying $12 for a bag of lentils. The older lady working the store was a delight though!

It was delivered to me . Like I had said in previous post I have been a florist since the 80's. But I have been active in all floral activities since. My latest trend was growing and doing designer succulents design the kind of trending thing now. I was tired of fresh flowers I have been in hospital since October 14th. My design days are a ways off until I can get back to my garden. That is why I ordered this to cheer me up. The people I ordered it from were friendly until I called to complain I was told things were going up in price. When people in hospital saw it they thought cute until I told them $105 all said not more than $50 it looked they were amazed al price. As I had said before I am not a Karen complainer but easy to get along with. I was just sorry it was like this.
