I signed up with the video cam and checked daily for proof of life. It would be really nice to get updates of daily activities as well as additional services paid for; i.e. walks, hikes, kong treats, etc...we got nothing. In addition, when we picked up our dog on the second boarding I had to ask for the blanket I left with our dog. When they brought it out they said that the blanket got wet from a water dish while our dog was playing with a toy in the kennel. When I got home I discovered that the blanket was actually soaked in urine. It makes me so sad to think that my dog had no choice other than to relieve himself on the blanket...something he would never do. On the first boarding, his dog bed was wet but I chalked it up to a kong treat he might have gotten. I normally do not write reviews but was so disappointed with the care that my dog got that I felt compelled to share. This place came highly recommended to me...unfortunately I can't say the same.

He is on medication and I could have taken him to his vet to get a medication adjustment or more training. Not the hill I will die on, but each time I've asked them to clip their nails while they are there staying and they made up some excuse as to why they couldn't do it. 2. We brought my dog's bed and blankets. When they were picked up, their bed and blankets were SOAKING wet, to the point where we had to throw away the bed. We asked them if it was pee or water or just like what happened - they couldn't answer it. We figured out it was water but the amount was insane. You would have thought they threw the bed in a pool. 3. They were very rude when we did drop off and pick up. My one dogs has been having a hard time eating and they dismissed me when I was explaining to them how to get her to eat. She came back with her whole bag of food, barely touched. Needless to say, I'm glad we're moving back to Meridian to be closer to our original dog boarding facility because they would never.

My Dane use to have issues with other dogs, but after his first time at Stayners (which was free), I bought a package and my Dane has no issues with other dogs now . The fake turf yard is amazingly huge. They have multiple yards I.e.- a ball yard, small dog yard, assertive dog yards, and introductory kennels. They have over the top friendly staff, which 2 staffers, are always watching the dogs with spray bottles. They have a covered area for dogs to cool of under and every other hour they take my Dane in to relax. I highly recommend this doggie camp!!

This place is a very clinical hospital setting, its clean sure but very uncomfortable. My dog wasn't feeling well and was there for x rays. I told them I did not want her vaccinated as we were traveling and I'd speak with my normal vet about it. I needed to know why she wasn't well. They took her back, and came back to tell me she had a tumor. And gave me a rabies tag. When I followed up with the vet about how unhappy I was, I was told they don't consider cancer systemic and vaccines would have no effect. I highly disagree, science disagrees, and the vaccine inserts state not to use on sick dogs. She said it was a local law, but in reality the vet can write an exemption for health reasons. Not to mention I don't live in that area and it does not apply to my dog. So what the actual hell are these vets learning besides push drugs and toxins and kill your pets. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical and beyond stressful for me and my dog. She seems to be having a reaction to the vaccine as well, so how I proceed I don't know. If you want to poison your dog as much as possible, use this vet. I wish there was a way to fix what they did, but the damage is done. I'll likely not forgive myself for putting my girl in the incompetent hands of this place and letting them damage her health further.

Not only was the place not clean, but there is no outside area for your dogs to play, if they need to use the restroom they just go on the floor in the communal space and the staff supposedly rinse the floors off. During the walk through i noticed the staff had water bottles and were spraying the dogs with them. When i asked why they said they used it as a form of behavior correction. They then shared with me they had web cams you can use to watch your pet while they are at daycare, but they turn them off from 12pm-2pm during " nap time " ... where they put the dogs in crates for 2 hours. i asked why they have to turn the cameras off and they said it's so they can clean the building. Personally, if i'm bringing my dog to socialize and get out energy during the day, i don't want him to be locked in a crate alone for 2 hours, let alone with the cameras off!!?? super suspicious to me. Overall i would never recommend this place.
