Put in central air to existing ductwork. Everyone was punctual, polite and even the subcontractors doing electrical work and ballasts (for gas furnace) were the kinds of folks we felt comfortable having in our home. Billing was clear and easy to understand. They were not the cheapest quote but we went with them because everyone's else quotes had clauses saying things like any unexpected overage is my responsibility. Theirs was we expect no overages and will discuss with you any problems we find before we do any work. Definitely using them again if we ever have to move. read more

They are wonderful to do business with, appointments are available usually within 2 days and if longer they try to fit you in. Called Cozy out to fix our ductless heat pump. At first they said it was the "control panel" and it would be approximately $2k to fix. Came out and installed it and the panel did t work. Came back the next day with a new one and then the tech said actually they discovered now that it was not the control panel but the compressor and it was the compressor that blew the panel and now we need to replace the compressor and it will be about $4k but they can't guarantee that there won't be another power surge that causes the compressor to blow again. So we asked how much for a new unit and the tech said about $8k. So we were considering just buying a whole new unit which would have the manufacturers warranty of 10 years for parts. Then the sales man comes out the next day and said the new one will be about $13k.... What?!! Every time they come out the price almost doubles? And I'm not sure why they couldn't diagnose the problem the first day. So now I just feel like we are in the middle of some weird sales scheme and I don't trust Cozy to actually give me real information instead of viewing us as potential to meet their "new unit sales goals". Will be looking elsewhere from now on but unfortunately our unit is now in pieces rather than what it was like before calling Cozy out. read more

Cozy Heating was on the spot for installing our new furnace 3-3.5 years ago but since then we have had them out 3-4 times to help make it work correctly. Each time we were told they don't know why we are having this problem. A month ago we finally had a service tech use a device to test temp in different areas of the house, it showed significant differences. Tech left saying we would be hearing back in a couple weeks; he was going to contact his supervisor. Since then we have called multiple times to be told it is in their notes or we will get a call the next day. Guess what...no calls have been received from them. Guess it is time to look for another heating company so we can get something done. read more

Technician who came out was apologetic, no complaints with him personally, unfortunately the receptionist has no idea what she's taking about. My water heater has a slow leak. She told us it could be fixed no problem and scheduled a same day appointment. Tech came out and said it's a "plumbing issue" and he was unable to fix. Charged $150 for diagnostic and travel fee. They did reimburse diagnostic fee, but charged $51+tax to travel 4 blocks! Wish the receptionist had a clue what techs are able to accomplish. Waste of about $60, not to mention time. Glad I didn't use for AC install last summer. Will not use or recommend again. Also funny when I called to talk to her again she didn't answer or return call. Customer service? Perhaps not... Also, not the brightest as my water heater is 17 years old and will likely need to be replaced sooner than later, with better customer service this could have been a nice sale for them. read more

Terrible customer service. They did not take care of me. I am on their annual plan (and they charge me monthly for this) Six days after Cozy did "maintenance" on my heat pump, it broke. I called Cozy for help. They said they were too busy to help me. Instead they said it would be many days before they could come out. Apparently, once they get their money from you, you are just out of luck. The lack of concern for my situation was stunning. read more

Our furnace was in need of a service check. An internet search yielded Cozy's as a convenient option. We thought we'd give them a whirl. The fellow that came out to provide the servicing was nosy and rude. He asked when we purchased our house, and the year it was built. When my husband went into further detail regarding the construction of the home, he rudely stated that our house "wasn't anything special to write home about". I found the comment extremely rude! We went into the house and left him alone in the garage, which was a big mistake. I'll get into that in a moment. Fast-Forward a week. We called Cozy's to report the rudeness of the serviceman, to which the secretary informed us that they'd had numerous complains on this particular employee. The owners would be getting in touch with us. Soon after, the management contacted us with an apology. They wanted to make it right and offered to send us a little token of their sincerity. We received a $10 Movie Theater Gift Card. 1 Star for the effort. A month later our furnace fan went out. We called another outfit located in Everett. The serviceman replaced our fan, and commented that our filters had never been replaced....like EVER! Unfathomable! Cozy's supposedly replaced our filter when they did the servicing. We asked the Everett business to cover-up the Cozy's sticker on our furnace with his sticker. Now I know better. I Yelp first before I call. Cozy's has poor reviews. So much in fact that they had to open up a new Yelp account to start fresh. Beware! read more

Cozy Heating has earned everyone of these stars through amazing customer service, patience of Job, and quick painless install. I really couldn't be more happy with their work. I started pricing a new heating solution for my house 6 months ago. I got four bids and Cozy Heating came in the lowest for the same or higher quality equipment. During the bid the Representative told me that my city didn't allow heat pumps where I wanted mine installed. Despite that they stuck by my side four months haggling with the city and going through a variance process (formal application, proposed land use sign, the works) even providing a statement for the Hearing examiner on the function of heat pumps (all done before they knew if they would even be able to sell me a heating solution). Once the variance was approved with the city, they got the heat pump installed in a very timely fashion. The installers were amazing. They threw in an accessory to make the pump quieter for free. I really appreciate Cozy Heating for all the work they did above and beyond the sale of my new heating solution. read more

We recently had an issue with our furnace where it smelled like there was car exhaust backing up into the house. The first company I called came out and told me our 4 year old Lennox was corroded and would need to be completely replaced to the tune of about $3000 (for a model made by a company that also makes camping equipment.). I called Cozy and even though this is one of their busiest times of the year, they bent over backwards to get us into their schedule and help us out. The customer service folks (I think Andrea) were polite, responsive and very helpful. The HVAC tech, Stan was also extremely helpful. He came out after hours, inspected the furnace and took the time to explain everything. It turns out that the smell was from dust that had built up over the summer and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the furnace. Cozy saved us from getting scammed out of $3000 and nobody else will be touching our HVAC equipment from now on. read more

I'm always skeptical with service/repair people just because they're in such an easy position to take advantage of people. Cozy gave me peace of mind and a great experience. They replaced the ignitor on my furnace- and put in a new filter. The whole trip took less than a half hour- the service tech- Steve- was wonderful. Friendly- fast- respectful. Charline in the office was very sweet and helpful as well finding a way to work around my nutty schedule. The invoice was very reasonable and overall it was a great experience! Recently moved into a new construction home in which Cozy Heating had been sub-contracted to install the furnace in. Upon having a different contractor look at the furnace today, it was determined that Cozy Heating affixed the exhaust pipe with a screw only - no pipe dope / glue / tape as is required by code! Had we not discovered this, it likely would have resulted in dangerous amounts of CARBON MONOXIDE LEAKING INTO OUR HOME! I've reported the issue to Code Enforcement and the General Contractor. Unless you want to get carbon monoxide poisoning, I don't recommend using Cozy Heating! read more

Cozy seems to be so good at service calls but not that good at actually providing a solution that actually fixes the problem. They will charge you a service fee each time they come out. My landlord has decided to hire a different company and I don't blame them. read more

We give Cozy high praises. We needed someone to come out fairly quickly due to a pending house sale. They came out within 1-2 days (this time of year other places needed at least two weeks). The first guy was very conscientious, did what he could but said he wasn't the diagnostic expert on electric furnaces. He referred us to one of their senior techs who promptly came out, diagnosed the issue, came back out the next day and fixed the issues. Both techs were extremely personable, communicated well. The only thing the Tech did right on this job was he was on time. When he arrived and removed tools from truck he was looking around confused, he then went back to truck and got a duster, when I asked if he was supposed to vacuum unit he said there was no power, I told him u did not ask and then found him power (strike 1), I went into house and as I came back to check on him he was just shutting grate of filter vent. I noticed filter was torn and had duck tape on it, I told him no to put a new filter (strike2), he then returned from truck with another filter as I waited, not to my surprise he then went to put that filter in that had duck tape on both sides and was 2-3 inches to small for vent, (strike 3), he said he was leaving to get right filter, as he left I called Cozy heating dispatcher and told her to tell her Tech to just go, fired after 10-15 minutes of terrible work! I blame Tech. more so then company, he needs to be reprimanded!! read more
