The only reason I stayed here was because I was driving for 12 hours and I needed Jacuzzi in the morning for my back and I asked the girl before I checked in and paid if the Jacuzzi was working and she said yes and then this morning I got up and the Jacuzzi was not working. She always seemed to be helping someone when she was in. 3/5 Location. There isn't much around but you're right by the freeway. There's a few spots to eat within walking distance. 5/5 Hotel. Very clean hotel, you can tell it's fairly new. The room was spacious, TV moves no mater where you are sitting. No phone casting but you can sync some apps. Finally USB plugs included!! Outdoor pool, grills on the patio and a fire place to relax. Coffee and tea available 24 hours, always nice. 4.5/5 Gym. Spacious gym with weights, machines, even a Rower and Peloton (wasn't working though). 4/5 Breakfast. I wish the menu changed a few times a week but that's the drawback of not cooking for yourself. Staff are very cordial here. There is plenty of parking, however, the entrance is somewhat hidden and a roundabout. Decent sized gym. Filtered water dispenser was not really good. Rooms and facilities were newish and very clean. No weird smells or stains. Free breakfast and parking, with a couple of EV chargers on site. Pool is on the outside, which was not in use since it was cold out. It was pretty quiet and the walls were not too thin. read more

Check in was super friendly and easy. Rooms are some of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. Huge shower and bathroom, big room in general. All amenities work! Charging ports on both sides of the bed. Most hotels have hard uncomfortable beds, but NOT HERE! Beds are soft and warm and comfy! Outstanding hotel especially for the price. Seems like a fairly new property. It's very clean and well laid out. We especially appreciated how the rooms had enough hooks both in the room and in the bathroom. These small things make such a difference! We were there on a busy weekend and even though it was close to sold out, parking spots still seemed to be plentiful. Staffing seemed light but those we saw were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was just okay. Wish they had more fruit but otherwise it was what you normally find at Hampton inn. read more

When we got to our hotel it was nice spacious nothing to complain about. My husband liked that it showed his name on the screen to the room very welcoming. The only downfall is the refrigerator was warm it doesn't get cold so I had my frozen breast milk thinking it would stay like that when I put it in the fridge but it melted and got warm. So that was the downfall of the room . I wish I had a pic of the gym that was really nice . The pool was cold and jacuzzi was out of service. Bathrooms in the lobby were dirty . Now as for the morning breakfast area this lady didn't have a name tag so I didn't get her name. None of these workers at this hotel had name tags but specifically this lady didn't come out for a whole hour and there was no food and my dad went to go knock on the door and she opened it and said WHAT?? Not a "Good-morning Sir" " Hii (with a smile) how can I help you " but a WHAT!? Which is unprofessional. A definitely not how you're supposed to treat the guests staying there . He told her what they didn't have and she's like "Well it's not ready yet and goes back in the back and doesn't come out for a long time. She was gone for an hr the eggs potatoes and sausage those don't take long at all I used to work for the Hamptons so I know. Also it's now 8:40am people were asking for more eggs and food and the lady said they have no more and they have plenty in the back . They don't go out of stock. As a former worker in the hotel business. There's many things she did wrong but she just chose not to make it . She was very RUDE and gave Attitude to everyone who asked her a question . She was everywhere else but in the kitchen area. Asking the front desk if anyone said anything about her. If I was an inspection worker or if my dad or any one of those people that asked her a question was an undercover CEO of the company she would be fired . Also the hotel is by a prison so I didn't know that until family told me what area we were staying at . So the hotel is not in a good area. So I gave an overall of 2 stars read more

We booked it last minute at midnight because we needed a place to stay on our roadtrip. Clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast, complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. The gym is amazing , has cables and dumbbells all the way up to 80 pounds, rowing machines, battle ropes , you name it. Perfect for early morning workout. read more

This hotel feels new. Everything about it was clean and neat. VERY quiet during our stay. Spacious room. Plenty of parking. The only negative I have is the food serviced at breakfast. The bananas were more black than yellow. Oranges were much softer than an orange should be. And so on. No welcome gift provided or acknowledgement of Hilton status. I do believe the person the front desk may have been new which is why this happened. Bonus is this place is dog friendly but did not see any watering bowls or treat station as I've seen at other dog friendly hotels Hilton has. read more

-1 THE noisiest hotel I've ever been to. What's the point of checking into a hotel on a highway? To get a good nights rest! Constant noise from the water pipes that was adjacent to the building. Turned off the AC and the bathroom fan thinking that was the problem.. it wasn't. My husband had asked someone to come upstairs to listen to the noise and they refused. No SLEEP at all. We went to the front desk the next morning and told them the problem and they said no manager was on the premises and that they would get back to me. Checked out and decided to give them the benefit of doubt and waited. The call never came. They charged me for the full price. Had to call Hilton customer service. They were gracious enough to listen and resolve the issue. read more

HI is one of the newer hotels and south of the beaten path of the city. Staff is SUPER nice and welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your needs are met. Rooms are well apportioned- some had microwaves and some with refrigerators- I requested both. South facing rooms do face the road so you can get some noise as a result but it didn't bother me much. There's a good fitness center but it doesn't have a water system so you have to bring your own, which is somewhat surprising given the new treadmills, one elliptical, and bikes x 2 with cables, free weights, ropes and stretching equipment. Breakfast was well done with nice variety. Pool is nice and saw lots of people and especially kids having fun in the hot weather when I came back from work. read more

Hampton Inn is an updated hotel, you don't have to worry about being robbed in this part of Stockton since it's in the middle of almost nowhere, just a few restaurants and a gas station. Overall, the hotel's very modern, just the scenery outside which includes a dirt lot could probably use some work. read more

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at this location. Upon check in Ty helped us out. He was cool and attentive. We received a lil gift bag upon check in. He explained in detail everything that was included with the stay. We booked on the Hilton app and all was ok with payment on file. Thanks TY!!! Breakfast was included from 6-10 daily. Lots of parking to include EV charging stalls-not sure if there's a charge. It was kind of a busy Fri and sat stay. New hotel and still has that new smell. We did notice there was a stainless steel gas grill in the pool area and lots of chairs to lounge in. The pool looked nice but too cold. It is glassed in to somewhat a fence will surround the pool. There was complimentary coffee,tea,water and hot water. Also lots of sitting in dining area and on the side with a printer. The gym was nice and there was a laundry room with 1 washer and dryer. The only problem we had was on Sunday the workers were in a meeting around 930am. People were looking for items and more food as the hot food was empty. There was people at the front desk and no one there a few times. I knocked on the wall looking for service and someone came out. A party is what it sounded like they were having not a meeting. I explained there was no hot food,coffee,water and condiments. The kitchen girl came out and was kind of snotty that she had to do more work. Keep in mind there is no DAILY maid service. Good: the ADA room was large and the bathroom was excellent. Roll-in shower, lots of bars and a handheld shower head. There were ev n enough handicap parking places, a first for this trip. Bad: Our bed squeaked so much that just rolling over was a symphony. I hate to think about anything else! We were here on a Friday and there were A LOT of cars racing on the road near the hotel. I would have asked for a room on the other side of the hotel but we were just too tired to bother. Maybe on a midweek night it is better? This hotel is out in an industrial area. No restaurants or shops nearby. Nice facility but next time we will stay closer to town. read more

Do NOT stay here! I don't want you to make the same mistake I did. I was so tired I just went on the Hitlon website to see the closest hotel nearby. It was so expensive and everything about this hotel was HORRIBLE. The staff must not respect the owner or the Hilton/Hampton brand name. This Hampton hires only rude Hispanic employees. The manager must be Hispanic, I assume, and should be reprimanded, or even fired, in my opinion. Service from a thin long haired Hispanic female was very poor...no smiles and no greetings. She looked grumpy, as if she did not like me. The room was horrendous...motel 6 has better rooms. I was appalled at the lack of standards here, or maybe the front desk rude girl gave me a dirty room on purpose. Breakfast was the worst I've had ever, and they had not one, but two breakfast cooks, who also happen to be Hispanic. I don't understand...they only accept applications that has Hispanic last names? Why is that employees all look Hispanic when there are multiple ethnicities in the area? The Hampton Inn's reputation is going downhill. It's no longer a high end quality hotel chain, but it's in the same caliber as a regular motel. Maybe the Hilton should consider taking the Hampton out of their chain. This Hampton is the worst of all; it gives the Hilton chain a very bad name. read more

The front desk clerk, Ty, was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. We drove 6 hours and arrived to the Hampton Inn, Stockton Ca. Immediately Ty was irritated by our presence. We had used Booking.com to make our reservation and Ty said the room wasn't paid for and we needed to be charged. After showing Ty that the room was indeed paid for, he said that we needed to contact Booking.com because it wasn't paid on his side. Once we contacted booking and they spoke to the hotel, Ty disappeared to the back office and said he needed time for booking to fix things on their side. Turns out, Ty was overcharging us the entire time and that is why bookings credit card wasn't processing. He was charging the booking.com card for room fees and incidentals. Ty blamed his negligence on booking.com and suggested several times not to use their service. This was a terrible check-in experience and we are very displeased. The property is brand new. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Too bad our checkin was terrible otherwise this would have been a better review. read more

When I first arrived, the following were observed within 2 weeks of opening to the public: 1. Receptionist hair was not brushed (it appear she slept and woke up to greet me). 2. Charged me an early check-in fee prior to 1pm, and arriving to the room it appeared housekeeping did not change bloody sheets. Although a one-time courtesy was provided to reverse the early check-in fee, the place left ill will. 3. There was waste paper basket to throw out garbage. So, I improvised and used a plastic bag from a grocery store to hold my waste. 4. When I check-out at 4am, there was no one present at the desk. I had to ask other guests for change rather than leave the hotel at night. Also, please provide more than only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel. Importantly, please switch washer and dryer positions, as the doors open towards each other, hit one another, and make it difficult to transfer the wet laundry into the dryer! *Please add more fresh fruit options at breakfast besides rotten apples and bananas. *Plz fix that SLAMming door into the kitchen.
