While the staff is helpful IF YOU CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT, good luck with that. Calling the number on the door connects you with an overseas operator that only takes resupply orders. Not local appointments. If you walk in you are greeted with "When is your appointment?" I needed to update the information about my machine and insurance. The website cannot do that. You must call and talk to someone obviously not in the US. I changed to CPAP Services because of a local office that I cannot use. read more

Being honest and up front about working with health insurance company. My insurance company had to call them after refusing to send supplies as they didn't get paid. The claims person asked if they filed the form required ? In a three way call he had to say they didn't send the form to get the paperwork approved. She said do you are not going to send out mask to the patient because you did not file the form correctly . Then called again and then told me that my company will not allow me more. I said talked to my insurance company. Then he gave me a line about not being on my insurance company... he has to file with a ca state insurance company and they send you claim to your insurance company. Issue 1. Discussed my medical condition and equipment with a family member without my permission against hippa laws. Issue 2. Billed my insurance for two orders that I did not place and never received. Issue 3. They have had my machine for over 10 weeks for repair. I was supposed to get a loaner machine which I have still not gotten. They will not return my phone calls and they have left me hanging. Great location on the first floor, with a big private shared parking area. All COVID protocols are being followed. I was greeted, acknowledged then waited for quite a while past my appointment time. Almost left! Then, the staff got me set up and explained all the procedures, cleaning process, refill systems, etcetera. This is all new to me, so quite an educational experience. I had put this off for 2 months, so I could internet educate myself, as much as possible. Because I was told by the sleep doctor's overnight study, that my case was moderate: I decided to take this seriously. My insurance is covering 85% of the cost, which was a good sign. Then, I saw the country of India wants our CPAP machines for their Covid patients. I decided to get my own, and having it readily available would be a good idea. It is a Continuous Positive Air Pressure machine to wear, when you sleep. Then, your airways do not close up (sleep apnea), when you sleep.7% of men and 5% of women have this breathing issue, when they sleep. Being overweight, being Asian, older age and other factors can cause this. So, now I am figuring out the best usage for this gadget. No regrets, so far. My sleep apnea has gotten much better. Instead of 15 seconds of stop breathing 23x per hour, I am doing less than 5x per hour. This is excellent! 5x per hour or less is excellent, over 30x per hour is extremely serious! My sleep doctor is now booked through October, this is May. I am definitely, not the only one with this issue. There is a support group, of course. Might check this out, too! In late October when we were on vacation in the Monterey area, one of our CPAPs broke down. Online we found this company nearby and dropped by without an appointment. The door was locked and the sign said "by appointment only", but since we were on vacation and desperate we took a chance and knocked. Kasandrah answered and immediately let us in, ran a diagnostic on the machine, solved the problem for us, answered some other questions about other issues we had with the other CPAP, and was able to provide us with some additional supplies we needed as well! She was an angel! We were in and out in a half hour, and were able to continue on with our vacation without incident. During this challenging time everything is online using Zoom or communicating by text or phone. I am a Cpap user and use Cpap Services as my provider. They have moved from Monterey to Marina near the Khol's across from Smash Burger. I was having trouble with my Cpap machine leaking not knowing where the leak was so I thought I would just stop by. I did not know because of Covid-19 I was supposed to make an appointment to come in. I rang the bell and was greeted by Dean their Respiratory therapist. He explained the new policy of appointment only but stated that he had a few minutes and take a look at my machine. He was able to troubleshoot and noticed that I was missing my seal in my water chamber. That was an easy fix because I had cleaned it the day before and forgot to put it back in. I have been with Cpap Services for about a year now and have dealt with others in this office, Cristina and I think Ivan is his name.
