Over four decades I've seen a number of ENTs, audiologists and hearing aid providers. Ganesh tops them all. I've experienced the tremendous progress in aid technology. Forty years ago, audiologists, with nary a computer in the room, would tweak the old analog aids with a tiny screwdriver. Aids today can be fitted far more precisely, but that also requires a knowledgeable, skilled provider who understands how to customize that power and is willing to take the time to get the best fit. In all this, Ganesh is amazing. When I got my first set of aids from him, I heard sounds I hadn't in years. So, yes, five stars!

I arrive for my appointment and first thing is they make it abundantly clear (with tacky printed paper signs) that they DO NOT see patients without a co-pay. Receptionist was rude, but hey low wages and $6 gas, I get it. But at least get some professional signs. I forgot my wallet and was informed they don't see patients without a co-pay. Period. They don't take any form of digital payments. I was able to use my digital credit card's virtual card number for the $50 copay. I sat down and waited and waited min for my appointment. They had no problem giving plenty of attention to the vendors who came in after me. Two vendors were led back to see their physicians without haste and both appeared to come in unannounced. I finally get called back, with no apology for any delays. I've been treated better in a line at a night club. After initial question were gathered, I was informed that I was only scheduled for a basic eye exam and NOT anything related to getting my prescription updated (even though I specifically stated that when I called), I would have to come back and spend ANOTHER $50 to see a different doctor who does not specialize in Keratoconus, but handles prescriptions. Both of my previous experiences at optometrist both doctors who specialized in my eye disease were able to examine my eyes AND fit my scleral lens prescription. Here it seems they want to milk you for all they can, so book you for 2 separate appointments. They did cancel my appointment, but I wasted my time taking off work and going here to sit around in a waiting room with 1 bar of cell service. Avoid. The customer service is awful. They do a great job at making you feel like a number. But that's what you get in America where our healthcare is a luxury to be rationed. If you are going to rob people for co-pays at least get some decent wifi so we can browse the internet while we wait patiently for our rationed health care. Trust the one star reviews, Waste of time and overly expensive with bad attitudes. Go else where.

When I finally got to meet her, no eye contact. Dr.Hwhang, was brisk and distant, I didn't feel seen or heard. immediately spoke about prescribing methadone, and other sedative medications, She seemed not to understand that my goal is to be alert and able to drive. She then prescribed seven day supply of the sedative medication, I was informed that refills were dependent on virtual "pain-level check in " which would occur either Monday or Friday, between the hours of 8-5. I informed my referring PC that I did not want to continue with that agency and would seek another agency and for . I also informed the office staff who I would give a five star rating to. We're not for the fact that this morning out of the I got another call from Dr. Hwong said I'm calling to check on your pain level. I am relocating and I will be looking for another specialist. This is a very poor listener. And I noticed that the patients in the office were and shuffling around like the walk of the dead. I cannot speak on whether these comments reflect any management awareness, but as a patient, it made the environment extremely uncomfortable to hear what I understood and perceived as carelessly ignorant. Living in California for a long time, these were not words I expected to hear and very inappropriate for the workplace let alone a "professional" clinic. The rest of my experience here has been great; amazing doctors and aides who have persistently helped me through my slough of issues, which makes this all the more unfortunate. I will not be returning and would strongly encourage a refresher of basic empathy, inclusiveness, and client-sided professionalism.
