I wanted to give 5 stars but I can't because this team often used our things without asking or at least informing us. For one, they used our hose and didn't empty the water out of the nozzle part after. Had I not noticed that, the water could've bursted and broke my hose. They also left lots of their own trash (empty energy drink cans) behind and I even found CIGARETTE BUTTS on the lawn. Extreme fire hazard... I noticed them smoking cigarettes while working which I thought was strange. During a break is fine but maybe not while working. I didn't mind too much but what upset me was finding cigarette butts on the lawn. The staff did not respect the home and did not thoroughly clean up after themselves. Weeks later and I was still finding pieces of plastic, cigarette butts, and nails in my yard. Jorge went out of his way to return the next morning to clean up trash left behind and he was very apologetic. Besides the issues I had, this company does quality roofing work, offers fair pricing, and you can tell Jorge really enjoys his work and is very knowledgeable about it. Despite my experience, I would still recommend this company for your roofing needs. Update (July '25): The work was completed months ago and I'm still finding nails in my backyard which is really dangerous because I have pets and they could easily swallow them. I also didn't realize I stepped on a nail and it went through my entire sandal. When I took a step, something stabbed me. Checked the bottom of my sandal and it was a nail! My foot was punctured and a red mark has been left behind. Very unhappy and disappointed in the things they left behind. read more

CPR just finished replacing my old concrete tile roof with clay tile and I couldn't be happier with the results. I had to wait 16 weeks for the tile to be made, but it was worth the wait. The concrete tile aged poorly and just didn't hold up over the long run. I know my choice of tile color isn't for everyone, but that's not why I'm writing this review. I was really impressed with the level of workmanship these guys showed me. And if your going to do tile, make sure that George SR is there to work with the crew. Use. This. Company. I've been getting quotes for our roof for months. I just kept telling myself it wasn't going to rain, that I could find a cheaper and still reputable company, that maybe I'd patch it, that maybe I'd use someone unlicensed. It was a terrible process. Then CPR Roofing came by. Rain was actually in the forecast and they came and quoted right away. Not only were they thousands (thousands less, but keep in mind, roofs are expensive), they were able to prep my roof for the rain for a minimal charge. They scheduled me right away and knocked the job out in 3 days (even though we had them start each day hours later than they preferred). Roof looks fantastic and comes with a 15 year warranty. It's a family business and they were pros the whole time. Only criticism (gotta have 1) - end of job clean up. They cleaned every day and my house always looked good. But I'd like a little more thorough end of job clean up. Not a huge deal but my grill cover was still in saw dust, under my deck still needed leaf blown etc. I'd give the clean a B, but I'd prefer an A+ read more

Great price, communication, and customer service. We had our shingle roof replaced 2 years ago and Jorge was very professional and easy to work with. We recently had a big rain storm and noticed a small leak. I called Jorge and within an hour his father was at my house to fix the issue. He crawled into my attic to make sure there was no moisture damage and then went to to the roof to find that some dirt and debris had collected around our bathroom vent allowing moisture to flow behind the shingles. I am the President of a small HOA (4 plex) in North Park. We have known for several years that we were going to have to replace the cedar shake shingles on our mansard roof with something synthetic (can no longer replace with wood shingles due to fire danger). I finally got going in earnest in May. Used Yelp to look for companies and put in requests for several companies. Only got two companies to come out. Jorge from J and Co was the first to respond and the first to come out. I was curious about them because they said 20 years in business, but only one review? Seemed odd. Well, mystery solved when Jorge and his dad came out for the estimate. Jorge is a young man, but he had worked with his dad for many years doing construction and roofing to pay his way to a mechanical engineering degree from SD State. He was the first and only respondent to actually go up on my flat roof to check out everything. He found we needed some minor maintenance work on our flat roof, but other than that, it was in good shape (didn't try to sell us something we didn't need right now). Sent out the estimate which included everything....replacement of shingles and the minor maintenance work. Excellent price. We had our HOA meeting last week which Jorge attended to answer any questions. Other owners equally impressed with him. Signed the deal the next day. This is just a review of our experience with the bidding process. Within the next few months, it will be done and I will send in a final review. J&Co was recommended by a close family friend due to their popularity among my circle, I needed my roof to be replaced asap and to be honest I was looking for a local company I could really rely and fully trust since replacing a roof can be very expensive and after doing some research I gave them a call and sure enough they were on my roof the next day.
