The bathroom has mold on the floor of the showers, there's rust around the hand soap area, spilled hand soap on on the sink counter, toilet paper on the floor in the stalls and the sink very dirty. There's always a new instructor every time I would come for lessons with my kids. No one tells you what's going on, you basically have to go with the flow and not ask questions because to them it's the way how they do their service. Customer service is horrible. There's nothing wrong with the staffs, expect for one staff member. Every member that worked June 2022 felt over worked by the owner and is super unhappy." how do I know ?" bc they told me in-person the week of 4th Of July. There's one time I went on a Thursday during 4th of July weekend with my kids, there's was no one available to teach any lessons bc apparently they was closed. I didn't get a phone call, nor a text or email that they would be closed for the week of 4th of July. When I got there, one member told me that I wasn't the first customer that walked in here today with no update company being closed for the week of 4th July . The staff proceed to tell me that it was so unprofessional how managements handled their customers and it's not their fault; which I didn't blame them and I agreed it's not. I took my kids home and the next week I got a phone call from DANNY telling me I have a lesson today ( Thursday 4pm). I reply to him, no one didn't update me if the company was closed or open, so I assumed it's closed. I did pay the 4th of July week bc I was told by the staffs that if I didn't pay now I would or will loose my slot for the summer session in July. So, I made a payment of 121 on July 7th. On July 21 4pm I came in like a normal regular unprofessional day at swim star . There was two instructor who's not supposed to instruct my kids are there. I wasn't aware again. The two instructors did not introduce themselves or even said which child that will work with. They just began the lesson with no hi's or introduction. After the lesson I called Danny and told him about the experience and he said he's shocked and I asked for a refund bc this wasn't the first unprofessional encounter I had experienced at swim star. DANNY said he'll give me a call Back Friday, but no calls. I called myself Thursday July 28th to see where I stand. I told him about the hygiene in the bathroom, he said the building owner has to take care of that, that if I wanted I can use the bathroom upfront by the desk. I told him about the week I showed up no one was dress to teach, I told him about the customer service and he didn't really care. I asked him for a refund, he said he's no going to give me a refund bc of his staffs, customer service and the hygiene at the company. He hanged up the phone bc he didn't hear anything ( my phone accidentally went on mute for two seconds bc i was Multitasking with kids) I called bk he said he hanged up bc I stop talking and I asked him again for a refund. He refused to give me a refund and told me to come in even if I'm uncomfortable. I told him why would I come in if I'm uncomfortable with my kids getting teach by anyone that works there ? He didn't care if I'm uncomfortable or how I felt as a paying customer. He didn't care for my kids comfort. He's basically saying he doesn't care and he's not going to give me back any money bc it's on their contract. I proceeded to ask him about the contract saying does or did the contract said about different instructors and company hygiene ? He said no. I would not recommend anyone to go there with their kids because they're very unprofessional and not nice to their customers. They honestly act like you're getting free lesson , most cleanest company and have the greatest customer service, but it's not. Please if no one doesn't believe me. CHeck them out for yourself ! You wouldn't be disappointed.

Very spacious and clean pools. About 50-100 tanning lounge chairs to choose from. Very attentive lifeguards. Snack bar is available as well. A diving pool, Olympic pool, swimming lanes, adult section, and various feet of water to swim in. This is all included when you pay the one time fee for the day. So sad I only learned about them towards the end of the summer! They close on Labor Day. Will definitely make it a staple to come back next summer.

They are definitely watching, making sure everyone is safe and following the rules, are they are actually nice using words like buddy and dear to speak to the children. They have 2 nice locker rooms for males and females, showers, changing rooms. They also have a small con-session stand with food, drinks, candy, and ice cream. Right outside the pool area is a playground for the children. They have two overhangs inside the pool area for the people that prefer to sit in the shade. Come on down and enjoy a swim!

She was comfortable with him and making noticeable progress each week. Unfortunately, when Brad went on vacation, they switched her to a completely different instructor, a newcomer with very little experience...instead of simply using a temporary substitute. The new instructor has a very different teaching style and routine, and I can clearly see the setback in my daughter's progress. I understand needing coverage, but changing instructors unnecessarily, especially to someone so inexperienced, is disruptive ! Consistency matters, and I'm very disappointed with how this was handled.

We noticed the parent after our class was furious at the poolside too because he had the same issue. The same instructor wasn't there, no notification of our instructor being absent and no one to guide him with a new instructor. My husband I love the water. We surf, swim, boat and my son needs to know how to be safe around the water. Most of all he loves the water too and back when he was 3 years old he would just try to jump in but he didn't know how to swim. We tried different swim programs where Nico had fun but it was SWIMtasticnyc that taught my to become a great swimmer. After a year of lessons my son at 4 was a swimmer. Last year where ever we went on vacation people were amazed at how my 4yr old son could jump or dive into the water. Swim above and under water.
