Their prices are affordable, but they don't know how to do a lot of designs. They need to update their design technology.

Second time visiting CQ and I was not disappointed. It was rather busy this time but I only had to wait about 10 min. I asked for DeeDee but she was busy, however, the woman who got me (I can't remember her name) was an older person with a kind face. She was also very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable. Her foot and leg massage was fantastic and she was very thorough. Once again I loved the color choice for my nails and the end result was great. I may go there every month!! read more

I really hate to do this to businesses in our community, However. In the last 2/3 months I have started going here, faithfully every 2/3 weeks. I only started coming back to CQ'nail because it was conveniently close to my house. Had I known this convenience was going to cost me the healthiness of my real nails, I would have continued going 45 minutes out my way. I recently got a nail fungus in 3 of my nails, and all I got was a I'm sorry, the product must have been bad. They told me they would soak off all the product, but later refused. They also told me that I would not pay for my nails, but only took $10 off, after charging me full price for a fill in, that only lasted 2 days before lifting.. please be aware. read more

It's been years since I had services here, extremely disappointed! They should have and still can close the doors , immediately!!! Non-professional business, everything is outdated, minimal English speaking staff, Techs won't sanitize their hands just before serving you & gloves are hardly worn, upon arrival order of service is not good, stations are filthy, handwashing area has a smell like a sewer, filing boards are very worn as well as other tools, etc Be very careful, Nail Tech may clip your skin with tools & won't say anything Locally, you can go get much better service for the same price! Believe it or not, I still go to QQ and when I said "CeCe, I meant Cindy (I called her CC in my head in order for me to remember b/c I'm BAD w/ names lol). So, I just wanted to correct that. Since COVID hit, my eye brows haven't been touched and they still aren't b/c I refuse to go to anyone else lmao!‍ I hate to be a negative Nancy so I will say this nicely; I made the mistake of letting someone else do my full set no chip at the shop b/c Cindy was busy (it's understandable she's literally the best) and I regretted it!! A day later, one by one, my nails lifted badly and water was getting underneath. I'm telling you, only go to Cindy unless you don't mind imperfections. Ok... it appears that CQ is on the decline again. I stopped in their nail salon after work to get a no chip mani, and a pedi. The pedi began great; the massage and nail maintenance was fine. However, I've had to change polish colors 3 times now because they don't have enough of the colors that I am choosing from their polish profile. The man that was doing my polish performed horribly, and got mad once I stated that I did not like the polish job. He got aggravated and yelled, but I quickly expressed that we both have had a long day and I'd wait for someone else. As a paying customer, I am not going to accept mediocre; in other words, "I ain't going!" I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. I will be busing elsewhere in two weeks. read more

Called in the manager(Larry) said I can come get them fixed cool no problem. Now, 4 days after the fix, I have 4 completely broken off nails. And my "no-chip" is chipping. Last time I was in here last fall, the owner's son was "in charge" for the day. He was rude, unprofessional and cruel. He actually fired someone for not doing a fill in when she had just started a pedicure on someone else. He even had the nerve to call the police to try to have her forcibly removed. All of this while the salon was full of customers! So unprofessional and awkward for all of the customers in the shop! Well, it turns out that the girl being fired is now at Cindy's Nails, just a quarter mile away, across Orchard Drive from this dump. They don't keep their salon clean, they don't keep it up structurally, and they don't sterilize their tools. Don't go to CQ's Nails. Head to downtown Park Forest and go to Cindy's Nails for a much brighter, cleaner experience! You will not regret it! read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I used to go there for their reasonable prices, but I refuse to put my life at risk due to their lack of cleanliness. They do not properly clean out there bowls for pedicures, they lack passion so if you don't say anything, they'll leave mistakes, and they are quite filthy in general. The place is so nasty. I overheard a young lady saying how the last time she came to get her eyebrows done, all they did was flip the paper towel over after the previous person just had their head on the other side. She was pissed and had to raise her voice twice towards the lady that she wanted a new cover. She refused to place her head on the same paper towel as another person. That is understandable. Just two weeks ago I decided to give them one more shot and got my nails done. I was seated at rude-crazy-lady station (The second lady to the left as you walk in). She filed my nail crooked and my French tip was noticeably not even. Did I complain? You bet I did !!! She had the nerve to tell me "you're very picky". I can only imagine the look I gave, but I know it was crazy. I ended up having another lady do my nails for the first lady's sake. Why did I give this salon a two star rating....glad you asked....First, although my feet are in pretty good shape, the person helping me spent little to no time scrubbing them. Second, I really became upset when she screwed up the designs on my toes. While one came out well, the design on the other big toe was very crooked. When I tried to help, after giving a generous tip, everyone in the salon pretended as though they didn't speak English. Well, although I'm only one person, I'm sure others have received crappy service from this establishment. The good news is... there are a few other salons in Park Forest, IL area. This is the filthiest salon I've ever been in! I went once with a friend not knowing what the place was like. Never again. I was seriously afraid I might catch something. When the common areas are noticeably dirty just imagine how bad the pedi tubs and tools are. Gross. Service STINKS!! No one speaks proper English except the younger Asian guy who's the manager, and if he isn't there you're screwed! No one can understand what you are saying and vice versa. Every time I come in I get crappy service lopsided nails, wavy no chip manicure instead of smooth. The only tech that is good is Lilly if that's her real name every time I come in someone calls her something different each time. She offers excellent massages and can properly do a manicure. I have to ASK for lotion massage, that's supposed to be included in a manicure it's RIDICULOUS!!! Last time i been here was about 2 years ago... I went because it was in walking distance from my home and when i got there they were very rude. Also, when taking off my acrylic nails they nearly took my entire nail bed. Not only was i bleeding, i had to almost yank the ladys hand off for her to stop. When i asked if they had band aids they stated, we don't give out band aids and still insisted i pay them for taking 2 out of 10 acrylic nails off. This neighborhood salon is a real find. Beautiful work and great discounts if you can get work done during their non busy hours. Also, They never fail to say thanks for tips. Another plus is that while the techs are polite and friendly, they are not chatty and intrusive. I can relax during my pedicure. Haven't yet tried massage therapy there, but I plan to. I have to be honest. When I started going they were ok. The prices were cheap and the customer service was fair. When you come in there is a "receptionist" type person who finds out what you need almost before you are seated so you never have to wonder if anyone is going to help you. However, once I'd gone a few times it started to get busier and service started to decline. The wait time was 45 min+ on a Tuesday! Sometimes the "receptionist" forgot you or even when you were there for. The last two times I went my no chip, chipped in 2 days. The first time I did not complain I just went and got my nails redone. The second time I went back to get repairs. There was another customer complaining about the exact same issue. The nail tech seemed irritated that I could not remember what number my color was on the color wheel. I had designs on one of my chipped nails that she did not fix. Instead she painted the 1/2 my nail that was chipped and left the remainder the design in tact at the top part of my mail. I asked if she was going to leave my nail this way her reply was "yes". While for me this was unacceptable, after long wait times, a less than stellar environment, and no chip that chips. I did not complain to the technician. I did however voice my concern to the "receptionist" who told me the nail tech "probably" didn't understand me. She understood everything I'd said during our exchange of polish color and such so I find it hard to believe that she did not understand 1.) that she needed to repair the chips in their entirety and not just paint over them 2.) that she should also repair the design to its original state. She doesn't necessarily need to understand english to right a wrong with nails if what she does all day is nails!!!!! Words need not be exchanged in this scenario, but okay. With that, I let the receptionist know the reasons (mentioned above) that I will not be back. I spend too much money and there are too many nail salons that fare better in decor and service for you to piss on me and tell me it's raining. I used to go here pretty often because it is close to my house but now I will NEVER go back. Went in and the nail technician had me take off my engagement ring to do my manicure, which isn't a unreasonable request. I took it off, washed my hands, and went to dry. Walked right out and realized I didn't have my ring. Went back in and the ring was nowhere to be found. Of course I thought it was just a customer that stole it but I looked everywhere including the garbage. After looking for so long a nail tech told me they have camera's and to tell the owner to check. I went to the owner and she told me they do not have cameras. I saw the cameras myself and pointed it out to her and she said "Oh I mean I don't know how to work the cameras at all, we don't know know how to rewind." At this point I'm irritated but she was being rude. I said ok fine I'll call the police and they will figure it out. Police came and I submitted a report, he called a detective to get into their camera system. The police also thought it was strange on how they don't know how to work their own system. I went home and had the police handle the rest. Two hours later the police received a call that they "found" my ring. He told me they probably got scared and just gave it up because they would've been caught. Of course me and officers believe that they stole it and got scared. The ring was nowhere to be found while I was looking throughout the shop with none of them assisting me. They STOLE my ring! They're thieves and I will never return!..........And my manicure was horrible! read more
