The dairy-free, gluten free shop can be easy to miss when you pull into sunset park dr. Look out for the signs that say "Ice cream this way" :-) No complaints about anything really. The service has consistently been chill and pleasant. Although they don't expose their ice cream the same way other shops do, samples are available. I hope the premium price tag does not deter anyone who is in search of premium ice cream. I don't know what they put in their ice cream I just know that each flavor I've tried there was no guilt induced after taste. My all time favorite is the Strawberry Fields Sammie. It is (real) strawberry ice cream between two corn meal cookies and it is huge. I like how the ice cream doesn't melt super easily so any mess is minimal. Tip: If you decide to give this place a try, please note their location's hours. They're only open fridays 12-6pm, sat & sun 11am-4pm

As someone that supports vegan/plant based restaurants love to see new places for my vegan family members and friends! Went to have dinner around Sterling-Reston area with some friends that in fact are vegan, so we thought why not have some dessert here. This is fully dairy-free and plant based ice cream shop, although my review is only for the Sammies, which are ice cream cookies. The Sammies resemble to what you can get at a grocery store but vegan? As an ice cream person, it truly hurts me giving them a low rate because the ice cream is not as great and decadent (I understand that using full fat cream or milk would make the ice cream not have freezer burns) but for a vegan and gluten free alternative, I think they stand out a lot. These are not like Insomnia Cookie or Captain Chip cookie sandwiches, since these are pre-made in their little shop! The person at the cashier really didn't explain much about the ice cream options besides telling us that it's either jars, sammies and pints. The coffee break cookie base was dark chocolate, imagine Oreo flavor, and the coffee ice cream lacked of flavor, I couldn't tell if it's just oat milk cream or almond, but barely could taste coffee or espresso. My favorite was truly the Island Chip, which was a coconut lime cookie (the flavor combo was spot on and the coconut flakes on top provided crunch), the lime added tang while the ice cream itself was a coconut cream base with chocolate bits, flavors that worked together beautifully!! By far a great cookie sandwich flavor, I just wish the ice cream had a creamier texture less like a block i would say they need to improve the texture, but maybe it's just the Sammie... I might give it a try to one of their pints, but to be honest I liked that coconut lime cookie best. The shop is tiny, there are no seating, it's just to grab and go your frozen treats!

Welcome to the all natural Naked Lunch located inside Mom's Organic Market on Elden Street in Herndon, Virginia. Everything is made in house and from scratch - awesome bowls, soups, muffins and the lovely juice bar. The piece de resistance- the amazing team here - Trevor( an angel and just the sweetest kid in the world), Osvaldo - another kind and great guy; Ken - a gentleman a worker and just so courteous, Maris - we talk about our families, Jose, Kendall and the awesome Ashley. They know their stuff and are hard workers who not only preach it but live it and practice it. Their genuine love and care transfers to the healthy fare and makes it even better. Their black bean burger is unique and delicious; their pomegranate muffins are to die for. Their sushi bowls, molar bowls, confetti bowls( please see the menu photo) are so unique and exquisite. All the dressings are made in house and they are stupendous. I have missed out on the soup a few times( sold out in the first hour). The place is casual with tall seating stools and a self help table w plastic ware and napkins. I don't think I am doing a good job and justice by writing about this. Not even close. So get your clothed butt down to Naked Lunch for a healthy, fun and habit forming experience. Juice bar open 9-8 daily. Kitchen 11-8.

At first glance, I wasn't impressed ( yeah yeah judging a book by its cover... I know better) I was wrong. The food was very flavorful, generous, and downright satisfying. We started with the sambusas (meat and veggie). They were good, though a bit mild (personally for me), I still give the edge to an Indian samosa, but that's just me. The combo is absolutely the move. We shared a three-person platter with lamb, beef, and chicken tibs, plus a variety of vegetarian dishes (see photos). Everything came served on rolls of injera, the spongy Ethiopian flatbread. This is a hands-on meal. As in, you eat with your fingers. Yes... it was glorious. The presentation is classic Ethiopian style: a large platter lined with injera, topped with meats and vegetables spread out like they're feeding 50 million people. The trick is to tear off the injera under the food, not the extra rolls, because it soaks up all that flavorful gravy. It's harder than it sounds, but totally worth it. The main dishes were very flavorful. I was genuinely impressed by both the quantity and the depth of flavor across the entire meal. These are the happy surprises I live for. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Barcelona was hands down the best meal we had during our time in Reston. We were lucky enough to…read moresit out on the patio, enjoy some great weather, and have an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Our server, Maria, absolutely made the night. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.
