We requested a quote and we were told $140 for a window, so we agreed and had him come over. He was late and didn't tell us until about 10 mins AFTER he was supposed to arrive. Very unprofessional. Once he started the job, the guy advised us the total would be more than quoted... Fine; however, upon installation, the guy broke the glass... So he says he'll have to come back. Monday comes around, we receive a text that's he's running late, okay. Now, 5 mins before the time he was supposed to arrive, he advised us he cannot come anymore because he doesn't have glass. Now it's today, Tuesday, and now he's saying he can't come until the evening. I have taken off so much time from work and this guy doesn't even care to run his business properly. Maybe because we're MEXICAN and he's racist. I just called him about the situation and how he's threatening to take us to small claims court over a verbal agreement, on a job he has not finished. We had a nightmare situation last year hiring someone to install our shower door for a custom shower in our condo. They never got it right and kept trying to get away with it. Unfortunately, the shower door that came with our house was starting to fail, and we were using a clip to hold the door closed when we showered so that water didn't get everywhere. We had to find a company that was able to install the shower glass into our fiberglass tub/shower unit. We decided to get a few quotes and see how much it would be to get the glass and frame replaced. Chris at CR Glass Inc. was the second to come out and he was very friendly and had a great response time. He was also very knowledgeable and even offered to get us a few add ons that we wanted but couldn't afford with the other companies. It was a little less than a month between first contact and us having our new shower glass installed. We couldn't be happier with the result. Instead of cheap, builder grade materials, we have a beautiful new shower that is so pretty it looks like a piece of art. We opted for rain glass with a ladder style handle, 4 towel hooks and the Enduro shield glass treatment. After all was said and done we still ended up with a price that was a lot more affordable than the other companies we had come out. I also love that Chris suggested moving the glass one inch closer to the tub so that I could have a small step to shave my legs, and let me tell you I am so glad he suggested that. It's the little details that matter, and Chris at CR Glass Inc. definitely pays attention to the little details. When I contacted Chris he was the fourth or fifth contractor I hire to make and install my very peculiar glass shower doors. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Chris and CR Glass. I purchased a glass shower door and since then we have had nothing but issues trying to keep the door closed. Every shower is a fight. I reach out to Chris asking him to come take a look at the shower hoping he would be able make adjustments to get it to stay closed and he stated he was having childcare issues and was not able to make it. I expressed my empathy and told him I'd reach back out at a later time. I have tried time and time again since then and he will not call or text back. I do not recommend CR Glass. Follow-up to Chris's message: I purchased the shower door from him over 2 years ago and have tried reaching out to him on several different occasions. On each occasion he stated he had some sort of issue. My goal is never to ruin someone's business. I paid a lot of money for a service and have had nothing but issues.
