I am sure there are better places to eat... Staff was friendly but food was not good. Several of us ordered the alaskan crab legs. They don't have any metal crackers or mini forks that I have used at other places. You have to use their standard forks and oh by the way, they are cheap so they bend. The salmon was like rubber and they served my 3 year old a very hard, burnt grilled cheese. They remade it but it was only marginally better. Still can't believe they served the first one. Went there tonight at 7:15 sat I. The dining room. Music was very loud coming from the bar I think they were doing karaoke. About 8:90 a male started singing a finger song dropping the "f bomb and a few other inappropriate words and verses to the song. Not what I would call "a family restaurant" keep that in mind in case you have guests for the weekend. We had a large group of people with us tonight. They were very willing to get together, tables that we all could set together. The were busy tonight and our server was very good on staying up on everything. Our group kept her busy. And I have no complaints on how she did. We ordered all you can eat crabs. She keep on it and made sure that our tables did not run out. All order came out hot and fresh. Even the corn on the cob was hot and had fresh flavor. My hubby and I ate here last evening (12/23/22) when the temperature was below freezing. The building was warm enough to remove our coats. The staff was friendly and welcoming. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We called around 11:30 to place 4 orders for 1 pm. One of us picked up their order. Then the other three of us arrived 2 minutes later at 1:01. One cousin ordered a dozen larges, which we were told was all they had. So we ordered another two dozen mediums. When we arrive here we are told that they are out of larges and that they haven't started cooking the three dozen mediums for us. It is now 1:21 and we are told it will another 20 minutes. They told us that.... 20 minutes ago!! They tried to explain the delay by saying that the cook is eighteen and never worked in a kitchen...... huh?! So if that is the case shouldn't one of the other three employees be training him?! UPDATE: At 1:40 we are told that they did not have the steamer hooked up correctly so our crabs are not ready. Huh? We arrived two minutes after one of our other family members...... how are their crabs cooked and ours somehow aren't after 40 minutes?! We are now starving, we are late getting on the boat, and we are getting angry calls from our other family members, so we asked for our money back. They tell us they don't know how to put the money back on our card and offer us a gift card. A gift card!!!! We have waited 45 minutes for our crabs and you think we will come back??!!! Two of us got our cash back. The thirds order was over $100 and are told that the business doesn't have enough cash to refund them. So we are asked for a phone number and they will give us a call when they have enough cash to refund the order. The owner showed up sometime between 1:20 and 1:40. He offered no apology or explanation as to why 2 hours after we called to place our order they have no crabs for us. Just terrible!!! Apparently last time one of our family members ordered from here they were shorted. Sooooooooo this is the last time anyone from our family orders here. read more

Crabs were nice size,cooked perfectly, and very tasty. Plus it felt good to support the Fulmers in this messed up time. I know they are the nicest people I've ever met. I worked for them for a while and they took very good care of their employees and customers. We need to all do this to the people that have taken care of us. Our visit on 6/30/23 was every bit the 5 stars I gave it. Everything our group ordered was great. Crabs were good size and meaty, Crab legs were enjoyed by all. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked perfectly. Stuffed mushrooms, although they were large our party of 4 and only 3 mushrooms? ( maybe my only compliant ). After reading some of the previous reviews my concern was being forgotten in the dining area with most off the attention going to the bar, Well for my visit I found that not to be true. Unfortunately, we had an absolutely terrible experience here. I can't comment on the food quality - because we never got our food. We placed a fairly large order (close to $300 worth of seafood) on a Thursday, for pickup on a Saturday for a birthday dinner. We called on Friday to confirm the order. Saturday at 6:30pm came, and we went to get the food, leaving a houseful of guests at home, waiting for dinner. We got there and there were several people waiting, no problem, it was a busy night. They charged our card right away, and then said nothing else to us. We waited, and waited, and waited. People came and went, and got their orders before us, etc. Finally, we asked what was going on, and long story short, we concluded that through their responses to us, that they never prepared our order to begin with. They claimed they gave someone else our order (who ordered the EXACT SAME THING? no way). We couldn't afford to wait for it to be prepared, as we had a houseful of guests at home waiting for dinner. We requested a refund, and they did it. They didn't apologize - they shrugged their shoulders, and said "stuff happens." Verbatim...that's what the attitude of the staff was. Somehow, it turned into US being the bad guys, because THEY failed to complete an order that had been put in over 48 hours prior. We ended up having to go next door and get dinner for our guests from Grotto (not bashing Grotto, but it's not the same as king crab, mussels, shrimp, etc). Hugely disappointing, and the worst part was, they weren't upfront with us from the start, they showed no remorse, and they didn't even make any attempt to mitigate the situation. Hugely disappointing, considering the seafood we saw being packaged for other people looked fresh and delicious. Needless to say, we'll never be back. For a great alternative, go to Copp's Seafood off of 24. It's a tiny unassuming shack, but their product is top quality, and they always have fresh produce from local farmers as well. read more

Purchased Crabs 3 times over the last 5 weeks. Thought this would be my go to place as the 1st two takeout orders were great. Bought a half bushel today. Only received 30 crabs which 10 were not edible - total mush - meat smelled bad. Last Half Bushel had 40 crabs and only one mushy crab - this is expected. But 10 bad crabs out of 30 not good. Called the restaurant - person who answered was very pleasant and seemed like things would be taken care of - after she spoke with the manager they wanted me to bring the bad ones back Today - unfortunately not able to do so because of other commitments. Sunday of Labor Day Weekend and the rain has stopped, we've spent time on the beach and now it's time for crabs! Called around and the best deal (which a good local friend recommended) is at The Crab Barn off Rt. 24 in Long Neck (next to Bona Pizza) - $35 per person all you can eat crabs, corn and choice of Maryland Crab or Cream of Crab soup. The crabs were all sizes, none to small, and they kept them coming. We tried both soups and enjoyed them. Corn with melted butter. They have water and sodas and you can BYOB. You order in the Crab Barn Seafood shop and then eat next door in the super clean and cheerful open air veggie stand. It's spacious and did I say clean. The Crab Barn is a new find for us -- its great and the people running it could not be nicer! read more
