This place is like a mash-up of a normal Maryland Crab house and one of those crab boil places that puts everything in plastic bags. You can get all sorts of combos and spice/seasoning levels. Combo #10 is $250! but I'm sure that's meant to be shared with the table. We both got snow crab legs and they were really delicious - not over cooked or old and blackish. They had tons of sides and deserts and cocktails to try, so we will have to go back. It was crowded, but they had plenty of parking and the staff was doing great. Let me start by saying, WHOA! The service was great and Crab Boat offers an at-home feel when dining. The food is beyond phenomenal. I tried the chicken wings, the fried catfish, and the fried combo. The fried combo includes, oysters, fried shrimp, and fried whiting. You can add a crab cake, however, every time I've gone I'm never able to get my hands on a crab cake because everyone else in town has beaten me to the punch. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is well seasoned and fried nicely. The French fries make me happiest (because I love French fries) they're crinkle cut, soft, and crunchy at the same time. The chicken wings were amazing, fried just right so you really don't have to ask for them fried hard, unless that's your preference. Both the fried whiting and catfish taste great. I like to top mine with a little hot sauce and maybe a squeeze of lemon juice. Overall, ten out of ten. I definitely recommend. I'll have to get my hands on a crab cake immediately ! read more

If your looking for a good steak & cheese. This isn't the place. The steak is unseasoned & very dry, portion of steak is decent. The steak has pieces of fat in it like the Chinese Carry Out Steak. The restaurant area is set up like a typical crab house. They have screened in outdoor dining space and there is a dedicated area for carry out. As first timers the staff was very helpful and helped us with our ordering. The menu offers a variety of seafood (fried platters, seafood boils) and non seafood dishes (chicken wings, fries, subs) and desserts (cake slices). Basically there's something for everyone. I ordered the fried seafood combo and substituted the oysters for more shrimp and it came with fries. I also got an order of fried chicken wings. Everything was delicious. The quality of the seafood and chicken was good. The food was prepared fresh. It checked all of my boxes for a seafood house and I'll be back soon! Have passed by this location many times and after seeing that it had reopened I read a couple reviews and gave it a try. Went 2 times and had the shrimp baskets both times. Shrimp was fresh and lightly breaded, taste was excellent. 1st time I tried the Jumbo Shrimp, the 2nd time was the regular shrimp basket. Both were excellent. Service was prompt and servers were friendly and attentive. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was due to it being pretty noisy. On 1st visit it was not too bad, but 2nd visit there were several people at the bar that were pretty intoxicated and even though I was on the other end of the restaurant they were extremely loud and disturbing pretty much everybody else sitting in the restaurant. The acoustics of the room don't really help much either. I' still will be back again though! read more
