My husband just called to place an order for pick up, was asked to hold for one minute...5 minutes later and still nothing, he hung up called back and now it's going straight to voicemail saying mailbox is full. I'm a big fan of this little sushi spot tucked along the Old road. At first glance, the exterior doesnt catch your eye. But inside,, the staff are kind and welcoming, and the sushi is clearly made with care. They don't overload the rolls with rice just to fill you up. Instead, every piece feels thoughtfully prepared, with a nice balance of flavors and freshness. It's the kind of place that values quality over flash. This time around, tried out a few of the usual rolls and some new ones. They've updated their menu and they contain images of what theyre offering. I always say, you eat with your eyes first. I'd recommend the snow white and the malibu. Their 911 roll and tropical cucumber are also good (from previous visits) Next time, i have my eye on the carpaccio! Just a heads-up: it's a small establishment, so service can take a little time. If you want ginger, wasabi, or spicy mayo; youve got to ask for it. But if you're not in a rush, it's well worth the wait. They even have a couple of tv screens usually showing sports in there. Stopped here on my drive back home while I charged my car and I must say it was a nice surprise. It was very busy for a Tuesday night. The staff was so kind, but the food was absolutely amazing. The roll we had was so buttery and soft, and also really great price point was also extremely affordable did not see your roll over $20. Now I have the perfect place to stop and charge when I'm driving down south, and have a nice lunch or dinner. If you're in the area and have to charge your car I would definitely stop in here and have a bite to eat. I do wish I lived closer so I could have it more often. read more

We came to this plaza for the Tesla charger. No establishment offers public restrooms. There are only two restaurants, Las Delicias Sport Taqueria and Matsu Sushi Japanese Restaurant, and their restrooms are for customers only. We chose Matsu Sushi, a cozy and clean restaurant. The hostess/waitress/server Blair was very kind and helpful. She let us know when I told her we were here to use a restroom that we could purchase a drink or something to go. We ended up electing to eat dinner early. I ordered the bbq short rib entree, which came with miso soup, salad and rice. We also ordered their beef bowl, and the dinner bento. The two item bento we ordered with the gyoza and salmon roll, which is also served with soup, salad and rice. Again, Blair was very accommodating and had the gyoza steamed for us instead of fried at our request. The miso soup was seasoned well and not overly salty. Salad was fresh and nicely sauced. Rice was nice and fluffy. Bbq beef short rib was generously sauced, tender, and flavorful. TLDR: Excellent service, great food, good restaurant. Would recommend! read more

Service was absolutely amazing! We called to make a last minute reservation for a large party and they were able to accommodate us right away. Split check? No problem! Food came out quickly and our server even took the kids orders first while the rest of us decided. Their menu isn't as extravagant as other sushi places nearby, but everyone in our party was able to find something they liked. We all ordered hot tea, and miso soup. I had the chicken and beef teriyaki plate with rice and salad. I asked if they could make it plain, but it's already premeditated in the teriyaki sauce ( not gluten free like tamari) so I ate it - because I have limited options when I eat out.
