This was such a great spot. It's the first seafood boil I've tried in St. Louis and it didn't disappoint. The place is super clean and pretty spacious. Even the bathroom is easy to find and not gross like a lot of restaurants. The menu has a bunch of options, whether you want to build your own boil or go with one of their combos. It's a good spot to hit with friends or a date even. I got the non spicy sauces and seasonings and it was still packed with flavor. The seafood tasted fresh and they gave me a ton, definitely worth what you pay. The staff was really nice and checked in a few times to make sure we were good. I'd for sure come back again. read more

Yea I'm not a big Seafood person so when when my wife wants it i just stick to the fried food section, and the drinks. On this day we ended up getting a couple drinks while she got the seafood boil I had a drink and Fried fish basket I didn't get a picture of lol I was lit. Our waitress was cool she had the whole store to herself so she was all over the place. They always playing some type of music and always have a crowds which is a plus no one wants a quite boring restaurant setting. read more

I'll start with the service since I'm big on customer service! I ordered a seafood boil to go originally then decided I would stay and eat at the establishment UNTIL I was told by both the young lady cleaning the tables and the cashier who appeared to be the "manager " that because I ordered the food to go I couldn't dine in . Weird to me won't be back! Food wasn't even that good anyways . It was undercooked and the seasoning was trash . They are overrated read more

Food is excellent and a good value. Servings are good sized. The hush puppies are amazingly moist and delicious. The crab boil with "Juicy" flavoring is perfectly seasoned and they are very generous with the garlic in their sauce, which I love! The hostesses working the front of the restaurant did not have good customer service skills. Rude and disorganized is how I'd describe them. Our waitress however was so gracious and helpful and absolutely the best. I'm visiting from Los Angeles and we have many crab boil spots there but this place is the best tasting crab boil I've ever had hands down. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Crabs landing is selling some unknown fish in the place of catfish fillets. I don't know what kind of fish it is but I sent it back. Also it is so dark in there and they have gunshot holes in their windows. I will NEVER go there again read more

This was truly amazing! I did a walk in order, and the service was so fast. Upon entering you are greeted by the cashier who answered the phone also. I did see hand sanitizer near by. The place was very clean, and due for the week entry, there was only one customer. But they had plenty of orders for pick up. This food was amazing, I'm not really into seafood but I would come to Crab's Landing for it anytime! The sauce is actually inside with the food. Now I'm not much of a seafood person so that was new to me. But if you are ever downtown and want to actually get full while eating seafood, I recommend this place anytime! read more

I've been twice now, both times getting standard butter only boils with shrimp and mussels. Everything is nicely cooked and I've been happy with my food and will go again. I tried the green mussels this last time and they are very large, but I think I prefer the black. Shrimp is excellent. Sweet potato fries are just ok. read more

I literally love this place ugh!! The BEST seafood boils in St. Louis for sure. It don't be too packed which I love and the servers are sooo sweet! Service was incredibly slow. They do not have salt or pepper and had to hunt for ketchup. The food was horribly unseasoned. Fried catfish was for sure tilapia strips. Not good. read more

First time trying this place and I got there at 8:10pm to dine in and the place closes at 10pm. A couple before us said two to dine in. We were next in line and the hostess told us dine in was closed for now.... Please help me understand... this is why business's can't thrive because of poor customer service and lack of employees. I will never return to this place.. best form of advertisement is word of mouth. I only gave one star because this review forced me to. read more

This freshly decorated, clean, seafood themed restaurant will definitely please tastebuds! We started with surprisingly delicious Bahama Mama's and Margarita's to drink. You choose from several seafood options and sauce types to create your own meal. The food comes to you in a steamed plastic bag and you self pour into a bowl. You are also given a seafood bib and gloves which helps as you dig into the food! The shrimp, crab legs and sausage were delicious in the mixture of cajun, butter-garlic sauce. Be prepared to peel and eat your way through delicious dripping sauce! The only thing missing was French bread to dip into the extra sauce. We did offer this as a suggestion to the owner. It may not look like much from the outside, but when you get in, you'll find delicious food and very friendly and attentive staff. It's our first meal in St. Louis and we are very impressed. We tried crawfish, shrimp and crab legs and each one was amazing. My husband was an idiot and left his credit card behind and they very graciously held on to it and returned it to us later. We'll visit again before we go home and hopefully won't forget our credit card again. read more

Back to the office downtown and stopped in to this new restaurant located in the old Missouri Bar space. I appreciate that they offer lunch specials and ordered the boiled in a bag shrimp and mussels in Cajun flavor. Wow! Absolutely delicious, very unique, reasonably priced for a generous portion. From out of town, celebrating my son's 11th birthday. He wanted to try crab and I didn't want to break the bank on a whim. This place met our needs and far exceeded our expectations! We ordered snow crab with butter and seasoning, mild, with sides of regular and sweet potato fries. For an appetizer we ordered the fried calamari. We had friendly, warm service, great food (especially for the price), and a relaxed atmosphere. The dining room was very clean and tables were spaced nicely. They are selling swai fish in place of catfish. The shrimp was good, very flavorful. But I am so tired of these restaurants selling me swai fish and calling it catfish. They know that most people can't tell the difference between the two and that's why they are getting away with it. But I can, because swai fish is wet, it has a lot more moisture in it than catfish, which is dryer and more flaky. I know that catfish is more costly than swai but I would rather pay the higher cost and get what I want, rather than them trying to pawn the swai off on me. I definitely will NOT eat here again. Dont let the outside fool you. Everything is absolutely fresh and delicious. The quantity of food per poung is accurate except for the crab which i think is due to a shortage during this pandemic. They make up for it though so you arent cheated. Drinks are also very good. The servers are also very nice and friendly. Word of caution: DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! I do NOT think it intentional but i was over charged. They switched the numbers around on the total and double charged me the tip. I caught the error and notified my bank. Would definitely go back. read more

We walked past earlier today and it doesn't look like much from outside.. but my boyfriend wanted seafood for lunch, so we decided to give it a try. Best. Meal. Of. The. Trip. I had the Shrimp & Sausage bag, and it was off the charts. Boyfriend had Shrimp, Mussels & Clams. We both enjoyed our Hush Puppies, but we basically just spent 30 minutes with our hands buried in those bags between trips to our faces! Don't wear your best shirt, DO wear the bib!! Love this place so much. I'm a seafood lover so it was a nice and pleasant surprise to find this restaurant. I'm originally from Minnesota and we do not have a lot of good seafood restaurants there, so wherever I travel to, I always try to find a good seafood restaurant. Crab's landing so far is the best, the food is fantastic, and our server, Molly, was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place and definitely will miss it when I go back to Minnesota. read more

We were actually debating whether or not to get it when someone else in line recommended it and told us how delicious it was. I'm glad we listened! The grits were creamy and had a lot of Cajun seasoning, which I thought worked really well. They weren't quite as cheesy as I personally would have liked, but the flavor was still delicious, with just a little bit of smokiness. I also appreciated that despite all the seasoning, the dish wasn't too spicy for me. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the overall texture of the dish was spot on. We paired the shrimp and grits with a grilled cheese flight from Steve's Meltdown, another vendor at The Foundry, and the two ended up going surprisingly well together. This wasn't quite the best shrimp and grits I've ever had, but I'd easily put it at number two, which is still pretty high praise. If you're at The Foundry and craving shrimp and grits, Four Hens Creole Kitchen is definitely worth a try.

We started with Stella on tap, which just felt appropriate while visiting St. Louis, especially after touring the nearby Anheuser-Busch brewery. It was easily one of the freshest Stellas we've ever had. For food, we tried the lobster mac and cheese, lobster bisque with pieces of lobster, a pound of steamed crab legs, fried green tomatoes, and the warm lobster roll. The lobster roll was phenomenal. We shared it, but I honestly could have eaten the entire sandwich myself. The real standout, though, was just how perfectly the seafood was cooked. Both the lobster and crab were juicy, sweet, and tender with just the right amount of chew. Nothing was rubbery or overcooked, but it wasn't soft or mushy either. I genuinely don't think they could have cooked the seafood any better. The fried green tomatoes were also cooked perfectly and something I was excited to try since you don't see them on every menu. Unfortunately, they were a little too spicy for my personal taste, so we didn't finish them, but that's definitely more about my spice tolerance than the quality of the dish. The atmosphere was another plus. It's a really cute setup with great ambiance, and our server was wonderful. We also walked right in without a reservation and had no wait at all, which has honestly been one of our favorite things about eating our way through St. Louis. Coming from California, we're used to having to plan ahead for popular restaurants, sometimes weeks in advance. Here, we've been able to discover some fantastic places without having to plan our entire trip around restaurant reservations. I will say, this was probably the most expensive meal of our trip. The one pound of steamed crab legs was $65 market price, and the lobster roll was $37 market price, so Peacemaker definitely isn't the cheapest place we've eaten. That said, considering the quality of the seafood and how much we enjoyed everything, it was absolutely worth the splurge. From the crab legs to the lobster roll to the bisque and mac and cheese, everything we tried was delicious. Combine that with the atmosphere, great service, and being able to walk right in, and this was easily one of our favorite meals in St. Louis. I'm actually hoping I can convince some of my coworkers from my training class to go back with me before I leave Missouri. I think that probably says everything you need to know about how much I enjoyed it.

After being seated, our server brought us some water in these cool colored mason jars which added to the character of the entire restaurant. We started off with some cocktails: the Port Royal as well as the seasonal slushie, the Yodermelon. Both of them were quite delicious, with the Yodermelon tasting exactly like a refreshing watermelon slushie; you could barely tell there was any alcohol in it! The Port Royal was very good as well and fit the seaside vibe with the rum & pineapple mixture. For the food, we got the seasonal salad which was a Tomato Salad with tomatoes (obviously) beneath a bed of arugula, peaches, pickled red onion, feta, croutons, dill, & a pistachio pesto. Although I really enjoyed all of the different flavors, I do wish the salad was mixed a little bit more as most of the pesto dressing was at the bottom which made it difficult to coat the rest of the salad as we ate. I ordered the Snow Crab Legs as my entree which came complete with a bucket & bib. The clarified butter & roasted lemon to drizzle really complimented the crab. There's something really satisfying about having to work for your food after you're already paying for it since, at the end of it all, you feel accomplished! Despite my love of crab legs, I can't help but feel like I should've ordered something else, though. They were delicious of course, but a side wasn't included despite the somewhat steep market price which meant I was left with a pile of crab legs and nothing else to snack on (besides my girlfriend's lobster roll & chips, thankfully). I was still left feeling hungry after making my way through the crab, so even a recommendation of ordering a side may have swayed me into having a more satiating meal. In short, it felt like I ordered one of the things on the menu that didn't have much character at a restaurant filled to the brim with it. I guess I was just hoping for a differentiator in the preparation or presentation that made this meal feel more unique, which I didn't really get. In summation, I was very pleased with Peacemaker Lobster & Crab and will definitely be finding my way back in the future, likely for a coveted Lobster Roll, but I will be passing on the crab legs next time.
