Small, unassuming space off of Olive. They only serve turkey and chicken products which I'm okay with that, even though secretly I was in the mood for a burger, lol. I got the 6 smoked wings with green beans and a fried chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was hot and fresh upon pick up. My only "complaint" was that my smoked wings were dry, as if they were reheated too long. The fried chicken sandwich came on a pretzel bun; literally my favorite besides the brioche bun. The ribs were not overcooked as it was at Meats and More and they were meaty unlike Meats and More. I wanted to try the turkey tips but they sell out pretty fast. I called and placed my order and I was told it'll be about a 30 minute wait, because they had randomly received a order just before I called. I went to this place all excited to support a local black owned business. When we walked in , there were 2 customers waiting for their orders. I placed an order for turkey ribs, tips and chicken wings. They only serve 2 meats and they didn't have chicken. Stated," forgot to bring enough ". Sir , you just opened 30 minutes ago. Then it took 1 hour to get the food. Really?! For some fried food. I spent $76.76 for some lackluster, unseasoned fried food. The fries were soggy, the green beans, cauliflower and corn fritters were basic. The worst had to be the fried corn on the cob. It was fried with a thick cornmeal fishlike batter and completely dried out. The Turkey ribs were soggy dry. To top it all off, they didn't give me the turkey tips. I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a carry out order. As many have already mentioned, the service can be slow. However, I am a firm believer that if it takes a while for the food to be delivered, the taste should be justifiable. I can enjoy them with or without sauce. As for the turkey ribs, there was quite a lot of meat in each one and they were quite tender. They pair nicely with the smoky BBQ sauce. I actually didn't care for the turkey tips much, as they had more fat than I prefer on my meat. The leaner pieces that I did eat, however, were still pretty good. The sides of coleslaw were decent. I was supposed to get 3 sides total with all that I ordered but I only got 2. By the time I got home, they were already closed. However, I called back the next day and they were kind and apologetic, and will give me credit for that side the next time I order. That's all I ask for so I'm pleased! I absolutely adore this black-owned business, when I'm lucky enough to be nearby on the days and times they happen to be open. Food is bomb, and, as a person who doesn't eat pork, I really appreciated how unique their turkey "ribs" are. Perfectly tender, meaty, and delicious with their BBQ sauce, I now get the occasional craving for this tasty treat. We've enjoyed all of the sides we've ordered from them as well, and will be back each year for a turkey come thanksgiving (we got smoked last year, can't wait to try Cajun this year!). Was next door working and could smell their smoke so come lunch time I had to walk through the back area of the parking lot to get there and one of the owners was out checking the meet in the smoker. After some idle chit chat, the guy says, let me putting something hot in your hand, and he gave me a sample of one of their smoked wings....HOLY SMOKES, it was AMAZING! Went around and went inside to order. The place is small and does take a little time but it was because there were quite a few people waiting for food and to order. There is about 4-5 tables inside and then a bunch outside too. Everyone was super nice while I ordered and all the customers were just sitting eating like we were one big family which was great! I ordered the Turkey Tenderloin Sandwich which had provolone cheese, portobello mushrooms with mustard bbq sauce that I substituted for their sweet and smoky sauce.
