Me and hubby came to Crabbae for a weeknight quick anniversary dinner. The restaurant is tucked in the back of a mini mall. Once we found it and entered we were met with a cute trendy hallway and then a nicely lit bar. The restaurant is in rhe back and its very cute. Nice sultry colors of green and gold decorate the space. A faux bookcase i noticed off to the side. Very nice and comfortable dining area. One of the things i loved is the menus are iPads covered in a leather binding which made me think it was an actual menu. What a lovely surprise. The menu shows all the actual pictures of the drinks and dishes! As a visual person this made me so happy!!! I wont lie the prices are a bit steep but they have really good happy hour deals !! We came of age Thursday and to my surprise it was Ladies Night!!!! Half price Margaritas and Lemon drops and also apps and entrees for under $20!!! I had an order of snow crab clusters for only $8!!! And they were amazing! My entree is ordered their infamous rasta pasta and added Oxtail to it!!!!! The Oxtail fell off the bone!!!!!! So tender and the portion was huge!! Nice restaurant! I enjoyed the lemon drop martinis on Happy Hour. The oxtails were pretty good and the service was very good. Only wish was maybe a healthy fish option - like grilled salmon with veggies and not too much sauces or salt. Also wish there were fried shrimp without the sauces - like just fried shrimp and french fries. Overall a nice place and I would like to go back for a karaoke night! read more

My sister recommended this establishment. I had the steam crab clusters, egg rolls and wings. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was fun, safe and all positive vibes. The bar drinks could use a little TLC. I would definitely return. I highly suggest crabbae. read more

The girls and I got together to get dinner and drinks. When I arrived I parked in the back lot. The place was a little hard to find because it's dark, but I found it. I walked in, and the bar was there, and in another room was the restaurant area. We had happy hour drinks first at the bar. We then went to the restaurant area. Nell was our server. I asked her a few questions about the menu, and she said to me, "You ask a lot of questions." Ummmmm, really ma'am! We all ordered the happy hour rasta pasta. I ordered mine with shrimp and wings. It took a very long time for the food and some of the drinks to come out. I had to actually go to the waitress myself several times to see what was going on. A manager got involved, and the food finally came out. The food did look good, and it was actually really good, hence why I am giving this place 3 stars. All in all, I doubt I return. read more

It is located within a small plaza with multiple businesses. The entrance is in the back with the parking lot. It is kinda hard to spot the restaurant at first. Bar area is for those who are walk-ins and seated areas for those with a reservation. It takes a while before someone notices you when you walk in. Once we were seated, I decided to do the $15.99 all-you-can eat tacos. The chicken tacos were delicious, and so were the shrimp tacos. I do think the shrimp tacos had too much sauce on them. The portion size for the tacos was very filling. The margaritas definitely packed a punch. The music was really good. Our waitor was nice. The service was a little disorganized. I went to the restaurant on a Wednesday evening and there were only 4 other people present. The service was efficient and friendly. I ordered the honey wings and they were delicious. I have been here many times before and have generally liked it. However, something has changed about the management or services recently. Generally, the servers at the bar were slow and inattentive and there were few people there. Then, we paid the bill and noticed a 20% gratuity was already added and there were only 2 of us. When we asked about it, they said it was on the electronic menu, which we didn't even look at because we didn't order food. Totally unacceptable. read more

Everything was great, until the waiter Praveen asked me if I can pay the gratituty in cash. I explained I didn't have cash. He proceeded to ask if I had cash app or zelle. I let him know I don't have any of those services. I asked will he get the gratuity that was shown on my receipt. He said yes but it will take two weeks and it will get taxed. The whole encounter was unprofessional and invasive. I have never had a waiter ask me to cash app or Zelle gratuity directly to them. I am not sure if this is crabbae's policy . It is definitely concerning. This doesn't take away from the establishment as a whole.(Owner) I have been to the other two locations for crabbae and I never had this issue with a waiter. read more

Location was a little hard to find since I am not from the area. Once you enter the decor was very nice. The food was superb. The food And the menu was an array of different-cuisine. I find the food to be very tasty. Well portioned and overall ten. The staffing was very pleasant. greet you at the door very intimate setting. We stayed because we were invited for a get together and wanted to support a black business but the atmosphere made us lose our appetite so we left after our first round of drinks. I went for the first time on a date last Thursday night, apparently it was ladies night and they had a bunch of promotions going. The drinks were good we got the Lemon Drop and the Blue Lagoon, my date and I thoroughly enjoyed that and the Philly cheese steak eggrolls. So, drinks and apps 4.5/5. My biggest issue was the actual entrees. I ordered the special lamb chops, rasta pasta with shrimp, and steamed broccoli. I asked for my lamb medium and it was well beyond well done and lacked seasoning, the rasta pasta was flavorful but the noodles were mushy. Spending over $30+ to receive overcooked noodles is ridiculous. The broccoli was bland as well as the shrimp. How can this establishment be advertised as a popular seafood restaurant and they have bland shrimp? All in all I give a 3 star rating, music, apps and drinks were the star of this show. I would give the food a 3/5. My date had the salmon bites and rasta pasta and it was the same issue. read more

Upon arrival I was immediately impressed with the ambiance. Very great vibes from when you open the door!! We were seated immediately and given menus when we sat down. Our waitress was quick to come over and make suggestions although I knew what I wanted. We ordered the Honey Jerk chicken stuffed with creamy shrimp Rasta Pasta for our main dish and the Ribeye Steak and cheese egg rolls, we ordered cocktails as well. We were asked if we wanted some bread and my friend said yes. It was a buttery seasoned Hawaiian roll, but was . Our egg rolls came out swiftly and they were so good, well seasoned and so juicy. The chicken was the main event... So juicy, the skin was so nice and crunchy and the shrimp were a great size, juicy, well seasoned and the pasta was cooked to perfection!! Our waitress kept coming over to check on us, refill our water and drinks as needed. We met the owner who is so gracious and humble!! very improper with food management I order steak fajitas and both dishes came out different times which made the steak and vegetables very cold. The sides that came with the fajitas (rice, beans & tortillas )looked like something from school lunch. Place was amazing but some of their items on the menu ain't it. Truffle fires are way too oily and depending on the day the oxtail can be tough as well. They gave like a 15% discount off something I didn't even touch. Even though you don't come to restaurants for the cheaper items they should still prep each meal properly. Not the $3 off a meal for some strips of steak. Needs to be properly manage.
