Visiting Saint Cloud we decided to try out a new restaurant and enjoying seafood we read the reviews and decided this may be a good option for lunch. When we arrived we were seated quickly to a fairly empty restaurant. We looked over the menu and were a little disappointed to see that there weren't any lunch specials but we made the best of it and waited for our server to place our order. When our server finally came over it turned out he was the bartender and he quickly took our drink order and then our food order and left. As we sat and waited I noticed the only other server working at the time was very friendly with her tables, chatting and checking back on them. After awhile our drinks and our appetizer and my Mom's soup was brought out. We ordered the Crab Spinach dip. As far as presentation went it looked as though it had been sitting in the window or under a heat lamp for a bit before being brought out to us, but thankfully taste wise it was still good. Very creamy but on the chips that accompanied it were over salted. My mom's Famous Clam Chowder defintely did not live up to it's name. The broth was thin, hardly any clams, no added potatos or any other added items like you come to expect in a chowder and no flavor. Just a bland roux. Once Mom added salt and pepper it was pallateable. Finally our entrees arrived, my Blackened Grouper Sandwich looked pretty decent. The tomatoes that accompanied the sandwich were huge and red, however the tiny piece of lettuce was barely visible. Despite being blackened I didn't feel as though the seasoning was very flavorful. I felt as though it lacked salt. I will say the coated french fries were quite tasty along with their Key Lime Tartar Sauce. Because our Server was the Bartender I felt like we were an after thought for him. While the other server was offering additional items to her tables our server never even offered us dessert as an option. I am glad we tried it but I don't think we will return. So good! One of the very few hems in St. Cloud! The only thing I would say is that I wish something could be done about the flies in there. The service was good, however, I had to keep repeating myself to our waitress because it was so loud in the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp and crab boil. I ordered the Cajun version, but there was no spice to it at all. The crab was okay but the shrimp was mushy. I suspect that they were frozen. They are sitting on my stomach like a ton of bricks. For the amount of money that they charge for their "market" price dishes, the quality of the food is not worth it. The only good thing I had was their conch fritters, but no one goes to a restaurant for the appetizers. I won't be back. read more

This spot was recommended by a couple and I thought that it was going to be a small place for seafood. Well I was wrong, there was a big indoor and outdoor eating area. We were three couples sitting outside next to the water, view was very pretty especially when it was dark. However we picked one of the coldest days in February to sit outside and we were freezing. Food was great and prompt even though it was a busy Saturday evening. Honestly I don't remember what I ate but I do know that everything tasted great. We couldn't take the cold anymore and had to stand closer to where the heaters were towards the end of our meal. Only downside was that there wasn't enough light in the parking garage that we almost swiped another car but thankfully we did not. We will definitely go back during warmer weather. read more

First time back in years. I have to say I was impressed. Saint Cloud Crabby Bills menu has definitely improved and has more variety. I ordered a Bloody Mary, the stuffed mushrooms and parmesan crusted oysters appetizers. Everything was delicious and I would get again. I took my doggy best friend Max with me and we sat outside. The weather was chilly so we sat by the heating lamp post. Our server Tina was attentive and friendly. She gave Max a doggy bone and some water. The experience wouldn't have been as great without her personality. I definitely have to come back for when the live music is happening in the weekend. read more

Worst food I've ever had in my life. My steak was over cooked, unseasoned and had the consistency of a tire. The shrimp were by god the most disgusting thing I've had in my life and I've eaten a lot of shrimp. It was extremely fishy and the breading they had on it was old. I tried my boyfriends shrimp pasta that had no breading and it was also very fishy & not fresh tasting. It really concerns me about the food handling procedures they have going on in the kitchen. My server was inattentive, didn't know the market prices of anything I asked about, and when I complained about the food he said I am so sorry idk what's going on back there but that he's having to help out in the kitchen and cook. Why is a server cooking? And no hair net either? No hate to him though because he looked like he was being slaved to death which is no fault of his own. Besides his mistakes from being overworked, he was one of the only good parts of my experience dinning here because he was trying. The gator bites were rubbery and why the heck do they add breaded jalapeños to the gator bite appetizer with no indication that they've done so? It was a huge shock to my mouth without knowing what it was. On top of that it was drenched in grease. I was being pestered by bugs the whole time, my table was broken so every second I was trying to hold it so the food doesn't fall off, I had to eat in the dark because they didn't turn the outdoor lamp on, the service was extremely slow, and the amount of money this crap cost left me feeling disrespected and hungry. I couldn't stomach eating the shrimp and I was fighting for my life trying to chew the tough steak. We were not reimbursed for the shrimp but were offered another option. However, by that point we were at the restaurant for 2 hours because of how long the food took which is not counting the 30 minute wait time so we just left. Absolutely horrible and I with every ounce of my being regret coming here. However, I did like the clam chowder flavor but the soup was cold when it came out. read more

I love seafood restaurants. I can't get enough of them, not sure if it's because I was raised by the water or if I'm half mermaid, though my hubby tells me I'm not every time I sing little mermaid. Crabby Bill's hits the mark, location, service, prices and of course taste. We ordered the fried pickles and a dozen oysters for our app, mahi mahi was simply amazing and I can't not give a shout out to the crab cake, simply amazing and fresh! Prices were what you expect at a seafood house, not outrageous, for a table of 4, including apps, drinks and generous tip ( because again the service is top notch) we spent around $100. Not an every week stop, but definitely a nice one every now and then, certainly recommend over red lobster. Go back? Yup! read more

Being from RI we thought the peppers would be more sauce like but they are fried so be prepared and they have a kick! The clam chowder has tons of clams in every bite not like back home which is more potato like this one was definitely tasty! Finished off the meal with the steam boil and fish tacos ! I absolutely love this restaurant! On two separate visits, my family and I have been treated with exceptional service and great seafood! There are many options of seating, the bar, high tops, booths, back room with a view of the lake, and outside seating right on the lake. The menu has some of everything, including options for those who don't care for seafood. On my first visit we ordered some calamari, conch fritters, and a dozen oysters. All three were delicious. The calamari came with cherry peppers, that yes had a kick to them, but you can request to have them removed. The conch fritters were my favorite and I wish we had more than six given to us, but there were three of us and I had to share. The oysters were HUGE and came with the proper setup of; crackers, horseradish, lemons, and cocktail sauce. My entree was the Key West Grilled Combo. It came with skewered shrimp, their talked about grilled Mahi Mahi, two conch fritters, and a choice of two sides! Let me tell you that the Mahi was amazing! I see why it's so talked about. My two sides were french fries and green beans, both were good, the fries were crisp on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. Definitely a great dish. On my second visit, I ordered the coconut shrimp, and these shrimp were big! They also came with a sweet pepper jam sauce that complemented the rum breading on the shrimp! If you're in the St. Cloud area, make a trip to this hidden gem and enjoy the views and good seafood. There is a second floor in the building, but only for events. It's a nice location! read more

We ate there today for a late lunch and our server was Frank, who did an outstanding job. He waited on us immediately and checked on us regularly to ensure that everything was ok. I had a fried Grouper sandwich and my husband had the grouper tacos.... Both were delicious. We live in Clermont and I would love to have a Crabby Bills in our area!!! Staff are wearing masks and sanitizing, and very very friendly but still professional. They have seating both indoors with large picture windows and outside on the patio. The views are of the marina and/or the lake which makes for a great place to while away a meal. We've been 3 times so far, and the oysters and crab have been good each time. The shrimp and grits was really good the first time but not quite as good the second, but definitely still good enough to recommend. The fried grouper was a little on the dry side and needed tarter sauce which I normally avoid, but that happens in a lot of places with grouper. The grouper has a very crunchy breading think grown up fish stick and is a decent sized whole piece. The fingerling potatoes are always delicious and the fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The coleslaw is the very creamy kind with large shreds of cabbage and a very generous portion. My husband loves the hush puppies here and gets a to go order of them each time. Overall it's definitely a place worth visiting, a lot of food that tastes good for a reasonable price. read more

The food and staff at this restaurant are both quality along with the wonderful view of the lake. My daughter had the kid's hamburger meal and son had the mac n cheese, both were great quality kids meals at a low price unlike most restaurants. I had oysters and a Cesar salad and split steamed shrimp with my daughter. All very good. I believe on Wednesdays they have kids eat free with purchase of an adult entree. The park and splash pad are right next door so if you're going in for a lunch or early dinner you can take your kids over afterward. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

Just moved to St Cloud and wanted something local with the family. This was a great choice that we'll visit again and again. The batter on the fried fish and shrimp is phenomenal! Green beans are some of the best I've ever had. And my kid loved the nachos. Atmosphere is open, energetic, and friendly. We come from a city where there is very little smoking allowed so we're aware the patio (which is beautiful) allows smoking. So we had to change seats to sit inside. read more

This is our favorite local spot. We walk the dog along the lake, then have a nice dinner on the patio overlooking the marina and lake. On weekends there is live music. The food is great. Wait staff is great. In fact, the ones who know us well treat us like family. Patrick served us tonight and did an excellent job. If you have kids there is a lake beach and splash park right beside Crabby's so make a day of it. read more

I ate at Crabby Bill's today for the first time as I don't venture out to St. Cloud often. The atmosphere was cute and we sat outside and had a nice view of the water. I ordered the clam chowder and the shrimp po boy. My husband ordered the fish dip and lobster roll and our friends ordered the gator bites, a salad, and mahi sandwich. The chowder was delicious! It wasn't as hot as I like when served chowder but the flavor was good and had lots of clams. The fish dip was very good along with the gator bites and I would order all of these items again. While my po boy was yummy, it was not the best I've had but still good. I do wish I had gotten the fries over the coleslaw as it was a bit flavorless but not terrible. I'd definitely go back to this place when in the area. Our waitress, Heather, was fun and very friendly. Lastly, you can't go wrong with happy hour drinks from 11-7! read more
