Came in for a school function at Gators Dockside. The service was good. The waiters were helpful. Our principal order appetizers for the staff. The food was good. We had options for sauces. It's a sports bar so there were memorabilia everywhere. They were playing some games on TV also. They were out of a lot of draft beers. I prefer Stella or Modelo. I had to try Guinness and it was a negative. I'm ended up with my 3rd option which is Yuengling.

I was greeted when I walked in. It took a minute for a server to assist me. You're able to smoke on the patio. My food was hot and well seasoned. They have vegetarian options other than a salad which is a plus. I was able to get a mocktail which was very refreshing.

Great place for Mon night AYCE wings. My new fav flavor is dr. pepsi's bbq aside from teriyaki. Please bring back pb&j flavor. I'm from out of state but I love their wings.

The birria style quesadilla was very flavorful , the wings as well but to my disappointment they were not hot in temperature. I also ordered the classic burger which was well seasoned. Skip the drinks I ordered the J's gator bite ,and a Tito's strawberry lemonade. My brother ordered a rum punch and the Jack Daniel's peach tea,I would not recommended any of the drinks I would recommend just doing shots , those were definitely worth it.

I had the Gator burger. It was pretty good. The gator appetizer was very good. The drink specials were great.

Lemon paper wings! Bone in Server was very friendly. We went at a slow time which was nice because I felt like we didn't wait too long for the wings to come out. Can't remember what my friend had but if the wings look appetizing show your server this picture ;)

We wanted to try Gator and heard that Gator dockside does serve gator on their menu. We opted for the plain gator fried tail. The gator was ok. It honestly tasted like chicken, just rally fatty chicken. Also I'm not sure how much meat was in there but I mainly tasted the batter more than anything. I'm glad to say I tried gator now though. The service was ok, our beer that we ordered took an unusually long time to get to us, I think because they switched servers about 3 times and they forgot.

The food it was really good. I had a Santa Fe chicken salad, which was huge. I could've fed a family of four. Chicken was well seasoned. It came with diced, pickled jalapeños, avocado, cheese, lettuce, corn, salsa, diced tomatoes, diced red onion. It was excellent way too much for me to eat, and it said me for dinner and lunch the next day lol she was nice and crunchy was a real treat. Hubby had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich which was really good. The french fries are preseason so we didn't need any catch-up. They were really delicious and nice and crispy. We had a super friendly server. We sat at the bar looking out over the storm that was approaching lots of friendly people. Server was really cool. She was very friendly, very helpful and you could tell she knows all the local to come in. How do you say this is a chain restaurant but it certainly didn't act out or feel that way. It was very local feeling lots of locals hanging out and the bartender was super friendly everyone made you feel very welcome.

This place is always busy so I thought it had to be fantastic. I was disappointed. The Turkey "club" was good but I always thought a club had 3 pieces of bread, this was a normal Turkey sandwich. The fries were good. The soda tasted like they've never cleaned the machine. My friend got a burger. He said the frozen burgers he gets at Walmart taste better The decor is interesting. I like it.

We recently went to Gator's to have dinner with family and friends. We had a larger party, but were still seated quickly which was a plus. The ambience was pretty typical for a Gator's Dockside location. There was music playing pretty loudly so that was slightly annoying since it was harder to converse with one another. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She took our drink orders quickly and gave us time to review the menu. At one point during the meal, one of our party members was unhappy with an item and the server was friendly and took it back to the kitchen to have the issue corrected which was appreciated. I ordered the California Cobb salad and a side of macaroni and cheese. My boyfriend ordered the gator tail dinner. The mac and cheese is just okay in my opinion. I felt the same about the salad. I felt like the topping to lettuce ratio was off personally. The dressing they give isn't a lot, so if you like a lot of dressing be sure to request an extra cup. I stuck with one to cut calories slightly. My boyfriend liked his gator tail and I took a taste of it and thought it was good also. Overall, this is an okay casual restaurant. Nothing is particularly bad, but nothing really stands out either.

The process the tale prepping them. As well as the consistency in which they work. Has allowed them to stay open for such a long time. First I will start with the two and three piece combos. The actual fried chicken goes under the radar. It's super crispy and delicious. Another item that goes unnoticed is the house chicken salad. With chicken. Ham. Cheese. Onions. Tomatoes and cucumber. It's a great option for dinner. Now the star of the show. The wings. They literally go to a different distributor to get them. The quality of the wing is superb. The way the cook it is simple and so good. Good and new oil every day. And the crispiest skin. Try them with sauce or plain. With lemon pepper. Or garlic parm. They have a spicy garlic parm. And discardable plates. Not a fancy sit down. Eat and go type shhh lol One sauce I will try for sure would be the blackened honey and the mango habanero.

The quality of the wings was excellent--very tender with just the right amount of flavor. The Lemon Pepper had a nice balance and wasn't overly lemony, which I appreciated. The Chipotle BBQ wings were very saucy in a good way, with a rich BBQ flavor. My favorite was the Blackened Honey. It had a great balance of sweet honey with a bold, peppery seasoning that gave it a nice kick. Overall, really solid wings and great service.

Now the food...the pizza was just okay. I think we are spoiled from being from Pittsburgh with Pizza. The smash burger was A+! The jalapeños were a great touch. I would 100% order again. Everything was reasonably priced and there wasn't a delivery fee. Great first experience with JT's. Would definitely order again!

Let's focus on the positives first: the atmosphere is incredibly fun and the live music Saturday night was a perfect touch at the bar. There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. This is a fun spot for a drink and appetizer, but I would skip eating dinner at Highball & Harvest.

So I totally got a dinner box that came with 3 pieces, my choice of onion rings, and a piece of bread of this I must say the chicken was totally piping hot when I got it so that definitely was a factor of it being the better part of the meal but those onion rings were just terrible bland and frozen nothing special makes me wish I had ordered something else and the bread was just a roll nothing crazy but still made nice to add pieces of pulled off chicken to it and an onion rings to make a chicken sandwich along with some of their hot sauce drizzled on top!
