Stopped here for a quick meal and a bit of football watching. The atmosphere was lively, with cheering fans and game spectators. Our server Jazmin was efficient and friendly. She made our visit enjoyable. Our food came out in good timing and everything was palatable. Decent value for what we got. The interior is bright with a large open-air section towards the front bar. My brother and sister in law stopped here when they flew into town. We met up with them. We loved the outdoor seating where my daughters could walk around because it wasn't busy and I didn't have to worry about them getting into peoples way or walking into the parking lot. The bar opened up to the outside seating area so we were able to stand and have some drinks. The bartender was very nice and continually checked on us. I did eat some of my brothers fries, which were Parmesan and garlic. They were delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for families. read more

We love going to Gators on Sunday's to watch the football games. Service is always excellent in this location. Staff is so friendly and so nice too. The menu has tons options for the whole family. We wanted to try Gator and heard that Gator dockside does serve gator on their menu. We opted for the plain gator fried tail. The gator was ok. It honestly tasted like chicken, just rally fatty chicken. Also I'm not sure how much meat was in there but I mainly tasted the batter more than anything. I'm glad to say I tried gator now though. The food it was really good. I had a Santa Fe chicken salad, which was huge. I could've fed a family of four. Chicken was well seasoned. It came with diced, pickled jalapeños, avocado, cheese, lettuce, corn, salsa, diced tomatoes, diced red onion. It was excellent way too much for me to eat, and it said me for dinner and lunch the next day lol she was nice and crunchy was a real treat. Hubby had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich which was really good. The french fries are preseason so we didn't need any catch-up. They were really delicious and nice and crispy. We had a super friendly server. We sat at the bar looking out over the storm that was approaching lots of friendly people. Server was really cool. The grilled wings here are delicious! Came here with a colleague after work hours. The restaurant was pretty empty after 4pm hours. My colleague ordered gator bites and I opted the FLATS grilled wings with the Honey Garlic sauce. They charged extra 75 cents for ordering just FLATS just FYI which I was not aware of until I saw the tab. Service here was ok. The server was nowhere to be found after needing refills on my drink. The grilled wings were delicious I can taste the grilled flavor and the honey garlic sauce was delicious. They offer AYCE boned in wings on Mondays for $19.99 stated by our server. I think thats a deal. MY 5 pcs flats wings costs me about $8 and change so the AYCE deal is not bad at all. 3 stars for the service because the restaurant was empty and no excuse for the server to be MIA. read more

We recently went to Gator's to have dinner with family and friends. We had a larger party, but were still seated quickly which was a plus. The ambience was pretty typical for a Gator's Dockside location. There was music playing pretty loudly so that was slightly annoying since it was harder to converse with one another. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She took our drink orders quickly and gave us time to review the menu. At one point during the meal, one of our party members was unhappy with an item and the server was friendly and took it back to the kitchen to have the issue corrected which was appreciated. I ordered the California Cobb salad and a side of macaroni and cheese. My boyfriend ordered the gator tail dinner. The mac and cheese is just okay in my opinion. I felt the same about the salad. I felt like the topping to lettuce ratio was off personally. The dressing they give isn't a lot, so if you like a lot of dressing be sure to request an extra cup. I stuck with one to cut calories slightly. My boyfriend liked his gator tail and I took a taste of it and thought it was good also. Overall, this is an okay casual restaurant. Came all the way to Orlando... need to have some gator tail. We got 2 orders of Gator tails. Lightly battered and smartly seasoned. The only problem ia that this were more like marble sized portions instead of pieces or chunks. Its served over a bed of shredded lettuce and a side of Gator Sauce (honey mustard dressing) If I didn't have to share, I would pour the sauce over the marbles and eat the dish like a salad. Overall the dish is OK, but its a bit expensive for a small salad. Men's room consist of a HUGE handicap stall... I mean huge... like sub compact car parking space huge. Met up with friends while they were visiting Orlando and they wanted to go to Gator's. We have been to Gator's in the past, not this location, and found it to be good. This visit was not bad, just very average. The service was mediocre and the food was ok. We visited on Tuesday night, a night they hosted Boombox Bingo. 3 of the 4 ordered boneless wings and the 4th ordered a Cobb Salad. The salad was very tasty. We all found the boneless wings to be a little dry and lacking flavor. We also thought the beer selection was a little lackluster. While the Boombox Bingo was fun it was annoying how loud it was, we had to yell just to talk to each other. Not only was it loud but it wasn't very clear or easy to hear. What happened to Gators Dockside food quality? I have been a customer for over 30 years, since the first store opened in Jacksonville, FL. The food was always perfect and the wings were the absolute best. Over the last year, something has changed. The food quality is actually quite bad now. This is the 5th and last time I have tried Gators over the last year where the food has been bad. I am not that picky of a person at all, but I am now no longer a fan. I just had Grilled Habanero Wings delivered to me that were undercooked and never even touched the grill. They were disgusting, but I ate a few of them because I was hungry. This was our first time dining in, only reason we came all the way out here was because our friends who live by that area were going to be watching the game there. We had a party of 9 adults and 1 child, one thing I did like about this location is that there is a lot of parking as well as the outdoor sitting is big. The server didn't come around to ask them for any orders from what they mentioned, we waited another 15 mins then eventually Daniela I believe was her name came around to ask us what we were ordering. I did like which I didn't know that the boneless wings were unlimited on Wednesday. So that was nice. Either way my husband ordered boneless with loaded fries, I ordered the bone in and we didn't wait to long for those the first round everyone in the table had their food on time. The second round we ordered seemed to take longer at least for those who ordered more of the boneless. I went ahead and re ordered my bone in, my husband ordered a 3rd time around with fries and his took a while but I waited 40 mins for the wings to come back out I had to tell the server twice that my wings didn't come out while everyone else was getting their wings. That was my biggest dislike, the fact that it was only 6 wings and the restaurant was not full that I had to wait that long, that I eventually didn't even want to eat them anymore. I took them home. I love Gators so much. Always have good food and a great atmosphere. Our serve was awesome and on point. I'm giving 3 stars due the manager in duty being very unprofessional. While our serve was talking to us because we asked a question about what's in the area to do because we don't know the area. The female manager came out and yelled from the kitchen hallway saying heyyyy I need you off the clock. Server replied and said ok I'm Just helping my last 2 tables and the manager replied say ok but I still need you off the clock. She looked annoyed. For being in hospitality, she should know that's not good customer service. You would want your server to make your guest feel comfortable and relaxed. We got here around 5 PM and it was a 30 minute wait which didn't bother us. We were sat down. It took at least 15 minutes for someone to come greet us so that we could ask for water. We had to ask someone for our server. We asked for our game to be turned on the TV the moment we talked in. We asked 3 different individuals and a total of 5 times. This didn't happen for at least a good 30 minutes after coming in and after we got our food. Wings were good can't complain. When it came to our check it was the same thing. Full disclosure up front: I ordered last night through Uber Eats, tipped my delivery driver $10 due to rain. A BoGo deal was available in the app for "Chicken Tenders". What we received could not even remotely be considered chicken tenders. They were horrible. Hard and chewy and they had BONES IN THEM. Additionally, the "tenders" were 1/4 the size of normal chicken tenders. It is painfully obvious your restaurant ordered cheap chicken breast, filleted then and then cut them even smaller to make "chicken tenders". Maybe you were trying to offload crappy product? The St. Cloud Gator's location will be the only one I visit moving forward. Atrocious food. Additionally, my tater tots "side" with my slider burgers was roughly 11 tater tots. In contrast, the extra side of tater tots I ordered was much more on par with what a true side dish portion should look like. I won't even ask Gators to do better. After a 20% tip it should have been about 55$, can someone explain how there is a 100$ charge on my card? I didn't keep the receipt because as an ex-server I couldn't imagine stealing a tip so egregiously. (So obviously there is no recourse for me here other than attempting to warn others.) We ordered the gator tail and fried pickles served up quickly. It went down quick too. Both were really good. The crusty, spiced breading around the gator was a nice contrast to the soft, chewy white meat.Wanted to eat more but there were some other intetesting selections I wanted to try. The house salad and balsamic vinegar was a nice combo. Really liked it. There was enough balsamic vinegar for the whole salad. The lobster roll was tasty but not sure if it might be a type of imitation crab that made up part of it. Because of that uncertainty, I wouldn't order this again. It might just be me, but I'll go with my doubts on this one. Too big to ignore. All in all, it was not bad. We enjoyed the ambiance with our friends and that made a wonderful night.
