We stumbled across on google! I was a bit skeptical at first...but we decided to give it a try and holy smokes it was amazing!!! We were greeted immediately and were able to sit where ever we wanted:). The place is clean with a cool atmosphere. Music playing hut not to loud and everyone is very nice! They even have a daily specials from 3-6 where appetizers, drafts and wine are $1 off. They also have an oyster special. We ordered oyster which we the best I have had in this area! So got the Bluepoints, pemaquid & Acadian pearls all were delicious! Beware the horseradish is the spiciest I've ever had We also ordered the crab dinner for two which was fantastic! We couldn't eat it all. Very good potions and the side were yummy too. Be sure to try the hush puppies. Tried Crabbys tonight on our way back from Bathrub Reef hanging out all day. Not bad. Not great either. Wouldn't be back. Felt it was definitely overpriced for what it was. $25 sandwich is a bit much for a few small scallops. Tiniest Mahi sandwich we ever tried as well. Nothing special...Nice folks though! We're on vacation here with son and family. Called and they had a perfect table for 8. We had the crab feast for two. It was great, and more than enough for two people. One kids had fried fish and some had hamburgers. My son's wife had the shrimp sandwich. My wife also had a lemon drop and us guys had beer $2 a glass!! All told it was great experience. We tried Crabbys for happy hour and we're very happy! The house oysters were delicious and properly shucked. The choice of cocktail sauce or mignonette was nice. After the two oyster choices we added some Royal Reds and fried oysters. Both were delicious. The Royals were jumbo and tender and all you'd hope for. But the fried oysters were truly amazing. Somehow they got a hard crunch on oysters that stayed super juicy and succulent inside. Service was attentive and friendly. The only negative was the overpriced specialty cocktails that weren't very special at all. Stick to the plentiful beer and wine choices. Our key lime pie to go looks wonderful too. What a rip off! They were out of dungeness so they substituted snow crab???? No wonder they give you 4 sides. It's so they don't feel bad about ripping you off on the price. The crabby platter for two does NOT feed two people. My husband and I are not big eaters. We usually split a regular meal everywhere we go and we ordered oysters for an appetizers and the crabby platter for two and ended up having to order a pizza when we left. We got an order of oysters and the crabby platter for two and two beers and our bill was $100! And then we had to order a pizza on our way back to our hotel. The snow crab has very little meat in the legs. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the king crab was delicious, the oysters were good and our waitress was awesome. read more

Passing through town and a friend recommended Crabby's Oyster Bar. First, we found a great and comfortable bar, and a great place to just hang out. But then we discovered the menu. Wow. We have come to crabby pretty much every week since we moved down to PSL and have been so happy with the service and the top notch seafood. Price is VERY reasonable for the amazing and consistent quality. Our usual are the royal red shrimp - large delicious deep water shrimp dipped in buttery clarifies butter, why even eat lobster when you have these ; cracked conch - crispy with a slight chew, charbroiled oyster - so good we always finish fast before I snap a pic, happy hour oysters - we like the mid Atlantic, cheap AND fresh, what else can I ask for?!; shrimp poboy sandwich - just great!. Today we got to tried their crabby Mac and cheese special and hands down it was the best seafood Mac and cheese we've ever had. Just to start, our server was Kelly and she was amazing!! She is by no means apart of this review she was great and professional. The owner does not wear a mask. Absolutely appalling. My crab was good, my moms boyfriend got the surf and turf. Not cooked at all. Sent back because was half frozen. Round two happened... closer but still raw. Overall overpriced for what we got. Got a refund on the meal, which was the one saving grace. Owner came by and said "do you want anything else? Okay well I apologize." Walked away without time for a reply. Sad to say we will not be coming back. Left a generous tip for Kelly, since none of this was her fault. read more

I went there with a friend, we both ended up having three dozen of different types of oysters a piece. I know I was in heaven. The staff there was amazing. The customers were nice and we had great conversations with a bunch of customers. The gentlemen who were shucking the oysters were amazing. We love them. I hope to see them when we go back. I was told by other customers that the soup is really really good. I can't speak to the other things on the menu, but the other customers said everything they got was really good.
