I stopped by to just look. As the salesman approached, I told him as much and that I was thinking of purchasing in 3-4 months. I told him this so as not to waste his time. He was kind and answered questions. After 15 minutes I left. I never told him my name, phone number or email address. Weeks later I received a voicemail from the dealership mentioning my name. I ignored it. Then I received an email. I replied to the email saying their tracking me down has soured me on the dealership. Even with professional representation, this was hands-down the worst car-buying experience of my life. I would love to give ZERO with this new management. I wish McDermott hadn't sold. I've tried three times to contact the manager or general manager I've been told they are busy always busy. That's why you're reviews are so bad compared to the other owners. My high end Lexus is now being serviced by another dealer. Dropped off my car for repair and when I picked it up there was a warning beep that continued to go off as well as smoke coming out of the engine bay - this is all new issues that weren't there before!!!! This is the first serious review I've ever written, but I felt compelled to after the frustration I've dealt with at this dealership. My family has purchased vehicles here for over 25 years, going back to when it was McDermott, and we've never had a problem -- until now. I had my vehicle's tires replaced on 10/2/25. Before the appointment, I called to confirm the *total* price, including all taxes and fees. I asked multiple times to make sure the amount was guaranteed and noted in their system, and I was told it was. When I dropped the car off at 10 AM, I double-checked again with the service advisor, who reassured me everything was correct and would be handled promptly. Around 5 PM, shortly before closing, I got a call that the car was ready. But when I arrived, all the advisors had already left for the day, and only admin staff remained to process payments. The invoice total was higher than the agreed price -- not by a small rounding error, but noticeably more. The admin staff couldn't help and didn't know anything about the price I had been quoted. My options were to leave my car another day and come back when the advisor was available, or pay the higher amount and resolve it later. Since it's my wife's car and she needed it the next morning to commute, I paid and was told it would be straightforward to fix the next day. I called first thing the following morning. The advisor apologized and said they would mail a reimbursement check that would arrive within 2-3 weeks. I asked if they could simply credit my card instead, but was told that wasn't possible. So I waited. Three weeks passed -- nothing. I began calling again, but each time I reached admin staff who told me the advisor was either helping someone else, away from their desk, out of the office, or that I could leave a voicemail. I left multiple voicemails, called again days later, then a week later, submitted a message through their website's Contact Us form, and even emailed the advisor directly. Still nothing. At this point, nearly five weeks had gone by. I started to feel like I was being bait-and-switched, or that they were hoping I'd simply give up and forget about it. It became my responsibility to chase *them* down for money that should have been refunded immediately. I tried to stay patient and give them the benefit of the doubt, which is why I avoided posting a negative review earlier. But more than six weeks after the issue was raised, I called again and got the same line -- "the advisor is busy, leave a voicemail." After explaining the situation for the fifth or sixth time to different people, I finally reached the original advisor, who now said the check had likely been lost in the mail. My options were either to request another check and wait again -- potentially another six weeks -- or accept a service credit for future work at the dealership. At this point, I've lost trust. What should have been a simple, routine fix became six weeks of unnecessary stress and follow-up. I no longer feel comfortable giving this dealership my business. I will wait for the replacement check, because I don't want to come back for service credit and risk going through this again. If I eventually receive the reimbursement and the issue is finally resolved, I'm willing to update or remove this review. But for now, this reflects my honest experience and disappointment with how this dealership handled something so basic. read more

Went here recently with my wife. Found a vehicle within our budget in the lot. With financing numbers already known and affordable. I asked for an out the door price. Was told, "cash is not king". They pushed to see if they can "beat" my numbers. After 2 hours they had the nerve to push a proposal of 899. A month for 72 months. The car was listed on the website for 27995. Shame on you predatory dealers. We need direct access to purchase directly from manufactures. Laws need to change. SHAMEFUL!!! Buying a car used to be exciting. Given an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 11 am--3 days later they began to work on the car, stating it needed what would have been about $5,000 in service. I accepted their $2,200 service and ignored the quotes for things they claimed I needed done (like new brakes and wipers that had just been done less than 5,000 miles before). This is why I questioned their statement that I needed additional work. One of the unsolved issues was a taillight signal. I was quoted $1000 to replace it "because the LED was bad". When I got the car back, the trunk was filled with bulbs and parts that were removed that in no way were related to access of the light. I had to replace them myself. Whoever touched this car was clueless as to what they were doing, and they entirely mis-diagnosed the taillight issue, but had no problem quoting almost $1,000 to fix, and charging me $200 to mis-diagnose the problem. I took the car to a trusted repair shop who immediately recognized the problem that anyone, as a grade 1 mechanic, should have known. I returned the car to my new mechanic for a different problem in the engine compartment, a few days after his immediate and successful taillight repair. He noted that the plastic shroud covering the engine was lying loose and had not been re-attached by the dealership. Further, I had been charged almost $1000 to replace the spark plugs and they were so dusty and dirty (repair done 1 month ago and car really not driven since), it appeared the plugs were never touched. I DO plan to investigate the other repairs I was charged for. I've owned 6 Lexus vehicles, always serviced by McDermott. Yes, they were pricey, but always honest and thoughtful and work done on time. This is the review of my experience. The words incompetence, shoddy workmanship and possible certain legal issues come to mind, but you can make your own judgment based upon my experience. New name, same old scumbaggery! I received an ad on facebook that this shithole, now called crabtree chevrolet was offering a $50 visa gift card to anyone who test drove a new truck. I filled it out and have been getting called 2x daily by a salesperson. I went in-today todrive a truck im absolutelynot buying from because they screwed me last time, just to get the $50. Im retired, i hate them , and i wasdriving by. I went in and spoke to dan who has been stalking me with calls and texts. I told him im here to drive a truck. He immediately gets out the work orders and sales slips etc. i said slow down! When do i get the $50 visa card. He said i dont know what ur talking about! I explained and said then how did u get my phone number? He said he had to talk to the manager. He came back and said, " he doesnt know what ur talking about either, ur going to have to look into that on ur own, but i have the keys! Do u have the card u filled out? I didnt fill out a card i did it online , thats where u got my number! He said yeah that must be a gm thing and he starts doing paperwork!
