    Iced Biscoff Latte
    Lash K.

*See 2 pages for this location so writing it on both!* A new brunch place opened up in scarbz and I was so excited to try. Price $15-$30 per person Items ordered: -Fried Chicken Benny - Blueberry Pancakes -Meat Lovers Omelette -Truffle Mushroom Omelette -Iced Biscoff Latte Food Quality (Menu, Taste, Portion size) - 4/5 Pretty condensed menu with breakfast and lunch options. Each section (bennys, pancakes, omelettes, handhelds) all had a few options that work for most dietary restrictions. Let he waiter know if you have any and they'll try to adjust. The portions were MASSIVE, so come hungry. The taste was soooo good. I feel that most brunch places are overrated but the food here hit the spot. I really loved the fried chicken benny, it was cut into strips which were way better than the 1 big piece you get elsewhere. My friends really loved the omelettes and said it was super fluffy. The Iced Biscoff Latte was good, I was worried it'd be too sweet but it was a good level. Atmosphere -5/5 Small restaurant that is usually packed, but a great environment with all the people. The restaurant is designed for a egg theme which was pretty cool. They have a good variety of tables for pairs or groups. Service - 5/5 The staff look so busy but were always helpful and willing to check in. The seem invested in the success of the place which is great to see! Will I go again? Of course! Such a good breakfast spot that I have to go back. Lash's Recommendations -Fried Chicken Benny -Truffle Mushroom Omelette -Iced Biscoff Latte

This place is right in front of my workplace, when I got in the place was packed, the only drawback is you have to wait a while for the food. The food is pricey but the portion is massive. I got the steak truffle eggs benny with spicy home fries, the steak was cooked well, it had a Smokey taste to it, the eggs were perfectly poached and the home fries were really tasty. When you come here your minimum spending 25 bucks, I think it's a good breakfast not a wow factor because I went to so many places but I'm glad this place is doing well and really tasty food.

Markham has a plethora of awesome brunch places, but less so on the east side, closer to Scarborough. Tucked away on Markham Road is this little brunch place that serves huge portions, lots of eggs, and spicy crispy hash browns. I really enjoyed my experience here! The service was friendly and quick, the restaurant was sunny and open with good seating, and the food is very well seasoned. Almost a little too seasoned (for me, I'm a baby). I'm gonna have to ask for "not spicy" on the hashbrowns lol I had an omelette (huge, a tad salty but that's ok) and the Biscoff latte (creamy and sweet). Everything was decent, nothing crazy. But given the comfy space and the fun variety of coffee drinks, I can definitely see myself coming back for more brunch.

Came here last week on a weekday to have brunch. We got the chicken & waffles, mushroom eggs Benedict (you can add spinach for free), Biscoff latte & butterfly latte. Everything was really good and very very well seasoned. The waffle batter is actually spicy which was interesting and the sauces they paired with each dish complimented them nicely. Really enjoyed the truffle mushroom and seasoned home fries. The only thing that wasn't really up my alley was the coleslaw, it just tasted very sour. The food was good and came out fast but we did feel rushed by the staff. They close at 3 and we went at around 12:30, finished our food within the hour so around 1:30. Still had a lot of our coffee left but the staff just cleared our plates and right away gave us our the bill. Wanted us to pay right away. Keep in mind there was only one other table there and they didn't close for another an hour and a half. I kind of wanted to just sit and enjoy my coffee a little longer. That's the one thing that rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that I would say it's a pretty solid spot. They have a good amount of seatings but they do tend to be busier on the weekends so expected a little bit of a wait if you are going on a weekend. The interior is very bright and cute.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Great food, great portions for the price, great service. So you know I don't work for them, I will say they could turn the music down a little. I get it, it's a vibe, but we could barely talk with everyone else also speaking over the music.

Parking is easy (and free) in this plaza, with no wait time for weekday brunch. I had seen good reviews for here and was hoping I would be able to enjoy it as a regular, if it was good. Unfortunately, I found the food underwhelming because the flavour for the steak was too salty and the fries were also too strongly seasoned (salty). Salad has a strong Italian dressing. Biscoff pancakes were extremely dry, I felt like I needed the syrup to make jt easier to chew and swallow. This was disappointing, since I have a sweet tooth and was looking forward to this item the most. I am not motivated to return, given that all three food items and the coffee were not things I would order again. Service is average, staff are responsive and timely to requests. The spread of the tables is spacious, atmosphere is good for conversing, and washrooms are clean.

Traditional Breakfast - 3 eggs, toast, sausage and toast

I saw their sign while driving up to Costco. I popped in today to see what's, what. First off you can preview their menu on-line. Second for those who love a little spice Crack'd delivers with a chorizo sausage. The home fries also have a milder dose of spice. The meal (see photo) was served fast. Server was friendly and attentive. Coffee was strong so ask for additional creams if you prefer a lighter coffee taste. I did suggest offering Splenda. As Sweet & Low is not my thing. The meal was served hot and fresh. My only pet peeve was the toast could have been toasted and included butter and jam without having to ask. The menu does offer sandwiches for later (lunch time) crowd. The place is licensed should you need something more than coffee to your meal. I was told the weekend crowd keeps the place hopping. So you may want to get there early if meeting up with friends. The set-up is minimalist not a lot of clutter on the table. Basically if you want something - Just ask.

I have found in my experience that most breakfast restaurants I go to are mediocre and tend to have similar mid quality food. Here the food was cooked perfectly and is a premium version of what breakfast should be. I went with a group of friends and tried a little bit of everyones food and nothing disappointed. This includes the biscoff latte, chicken and waffle, eggs benedict and more. The waitress was so sweet too, unfortunately I don't remember her name.

Food was delicious, decided to try this place after it was recommended. Savoury and delicious eggs benny the eggs were perfectly made soft. I always get excited when I have eggs benny but I find the classic eggs benny to be the best. Service was a little slow when it came to seating and getting water to the table. Ambiance is loud as I found everything echoed quite a bit but nothing crazy, plenty of tables.

From the hostess to the waitstaff. All very polite and welcoming. We observed them with other guests and they seemed very patient with the loud kids...and adults to be fair. LOL We had the big skillet both days as well as the breakfast sandwich. While there were some variances, we enjoyed both experiences. The first visit was better in my opinion - the potatoes were tender and not overcooked and my fruit cup didn't have a lot of cantaloupe. I have shared pictures of the menu as well. We had sparkling water and diet cola both times. Our beverages never ran dry. There is an upstairs that overlooks the first floor dining area. We wondered if anyone had ever spilled a beverage that landed on guests below. We could definitely see the possibility of that happening. They also had a nice patio, however, on the hotter days, not sure how enjoyable the city smell would be while trying to eat. Interesting - they only had one bathroom. So we observed a line. And there are tables right next to the door. I would avoid those seats if possible. A little too close to the restroom in my opinion. If we are in the area again, we would definitely eat here again, although they may be at the new location if we visit in the future. I look forward to seeing the upgraded features at the new location.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. Arrive early, claim a croissant while you still can, and settle onto the patio; you'll leave understanding exactly why regulars keep coming back.

The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. Awesome presentation and definitely Instagram worthy. I got the huevos rancheros, it was more like an egg burrito with beans, sauce and potatoes on top. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. It was hard to flag him down for anything. It was not a nice experience. The menu does have some other cool items I do want to try (pancakes and french toast)... so maybe I will give it another shot if I am in the area one day.

Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Did notice a few more birds than typical patios (tried to eat our scraps as we were waiting for the bill).

Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool. They have a raised photo pedestal which is ideal to take pictures with the Tower, Rogers Centre and lake in the background. They also have some trendy couches and sitting areas as well. The interior dining area is also pretty good with window views outside and a California vibe to it. Overall (4/5) - Yes, the food is on the average side for the price. However, it really is a great atmosphere for dining, even if sitting inside. It is a bucket list destination at a minimum and worth a repeat imo.
