A great bacon and cheese sandwich! (and friendly service).

This isn't the best Cracker Barrel I have been to. The food took a long time to arrive. The biscuits seemed a tad off. The pinto beans were spectacular! The haddock was OK. Service was friendly and by a lady who really believes in southern hospitality. I left over 20% tip because she was so gracious. read more

We were disappoint with this CB location It took to long to get a Sunrise breakfast( eggs bacon toast..), French toast and 1 pancake, and a side When it did get to the table the bacon was cooked enough we requested more and that was a only a little more, the toast was no more than warmed bread on one side, the French toast was just ok, not quality that I am used to from CB. We did speak to the manager and he did say he was sorry and took off 1 meal, but we would rather just pay for a good Meal. read more

Amazing service and lovely country style food! Very filling and if you get the chance try the Mac and cheese ;) we had a group of six and only wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Only but 2-3 minutes after we were seat the waitress *Marianne* greeted us and took our drink orders. She was such a sweetheart! Two of us ordered Med steaks and when they came out, they were VERY well done. Marianne was quick to fix it and offered us a free side which we declined. The steaks came out beautiful and the rest of our meals were perfect. After we ate we decided to walk around the shop. Marianne actually came into the shop to give us a suvonyier one of the kids left at the table. We had a great experience and the meal for six of us was only about 60 dollars. We will most definitely be coming back when we drive through Kentucky! read more

We have frequented many outlets and this one is lacking. There is a lack of staff so that wait times become excessive both to be seated and to be served. It took a LOOOOONG time for our food to show up.The men's restroom was not in good shape and the Manager was the cleaning person since everyone else who worked there was a female. There are better locations to be found. read more

Stopped here on our way back to Indiana from a vacation. All Cracker Barrels are good, right?! They were so busy when we were there that it was hard for the waitresses to keep up, thus, the 4 stars. Not the waitresses fault, but maybe management should look at this. Still, the food was what we expect from Cracker Barrel; homemade goodness! This time I had the big salad with fried chicken strips. It is fresh, has fresh boiled eggs, cheddar cheese wedges, tomatoes and wonderful croutons. Of course after dinner there are so many fun and pretty things to look at in the country store. I love going to browse (I'm sure my husband likes that too!) The price is right, service friendly, and food is great! read more

Another Cracker Barrel day for me but this day which happens to be Mother's Day I took my mother here as a treat. We were not disappointed. Even on a busy day like Sunday AND being Mother's Day we were seated within 10 minutes of putting our name in for a table. Our orders were taken promptly. Drinks were served within a couple of minutes after initial order was placed. Coffee was verrrry bitter but the manager himself delivered a fresh cup almost immediately after he asked how everything was and I made mention the coffee might have been an old pot or decaf. When our food arrived the portions were perfect and everything looked and tasted fantastic. Very glad she chose CB. Another perfect meal. The staff works well together and that enabled the process to run like a finely tuned machine. Good work Corbin location. read more

Decided to stop here for a meal on our way home from Florida. I'd ordered a country chicken BLT sandwich with no tomatoes. It took almost 1/2 hour for our food to come out and it wasn't even busy as it was after 8pm, there were like 5 tables filled and she only had two tables. The waitress even noticed me looking at her from a distance and she went back to the kitchen to check on it, but then didn't even see her or our food for another 5 minutes. When our order came out (note that it was brought out by somebody else), my sandwich was missing the bacon and it had cheese on it, which I eventually double-checked the menu and it doesn't even come with cheese. It was on the check and had a dollar sign next to cheese so most likely it was an added charge. When our waitress came over to check on us, I told her there's no bacon on the sandwich. She left our check and never brought out the missing bacon. Our bill was $27.83. Ended up leaving a $2 tip to deduct the missing bacon and for the cheese that I was likely charged for, plus for lack of service. Left very disappointed. read more

I stopped in off the highway for a late breakfast/early lunch with a few other people on a Sunday and was able to get a seat in under 10 minutes. We did have to wait about 25 minutes for our food which was a little disappointing because I was so hungry at the time. I went with the chicken fried chicken with taters, green beans, and macaroni - a good old country meal - and enjoyed it while I got my fill. The quality was consistent with any other Cracker Barrel, flavorful, hearty, and extremely filling. Our server was attentive and kept up with refills and check-ins, making this trip successful and enjoyable. read more

Me and my friend came here, we got Rachel as our waitress. I wouldn't be leaving this kind of review if we were hard people to please or maybe we were asking for too much... But we're not. And we didn't. The minute we were greeted by Rachel she looked as though she was judging us for what we wanted, me just a sweet tea, my friend a chocolate milk and mamas breakfast meal. After we got our food Rachel never came back to check on us, even during the 10 minutes we sat around trying to look for her... when she finally did we got a dirty look once my friend asked if she could get more milk... I have the worst case of resting bitch face disease, but never would I let that interfere with my job, and every other server held a smile in their face.. Although I confess a love for this place, what with the advantage of nostalgia and all, this one has some issues. The gift shop was in very good shape, but this is where the fun ended. We sat down, a party of 5, and ordered our supper. The dishes ranged from chicken and dumplings, chicken tenders and chicken sandwich to a meat loaf dinner and roast beef dinner. The sugar free tea tasted "strange" and was very off putting, but the waitress responded w/a soft drink. The food was average, to say the least, but the service was very subpar. We waited almost 30 mins for our order to arrive and then it arrived in pieces (first someone would get theirs and then someone else, and then the bread would arrive, etc.). Honestly, 5 more minutes and I'd have been at the Sonny's BBQ next door. Don't know what the issue was with the food, but it was beginning to not only annoy us, but several other patrons as well. While CB generally leads to a good meal, I'd be leery of this one until they get their service issues straight. read more

Another good meal at Cracker Barrel. Employees at this location are some of the nicest I've seen at any CB. What I like about CB is that I can eat there almost everyday and have something different each time. This time I chose the country fried steak. Something I have never had and it was fantastic. We arrived before 5PM and the traffic was very light. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. Employees here are long-timers and know what they are doing. I'm staying in the local area and will eat the rainbow trout there tomorrow. read more

Great for a decent meal while you're on the road. Even though the catfish is farm raised, I still get it all the time. It's darn good. The tea is fresh brewed for those who care about such things. read more

This Cracker Barrel continually gets worse and worse. The server was the worst we've had and rushed to take our order as soon as we sat down then we had to ask several times for things like ice which I ordered my drink with extra to begin with and acted like it put her out to get it. Brought our ticket as soon as sat food down without even asking if we'd want dessert, a refill or anything. Figured she was new so overlooked that but the new chicken was so greasy and tore my stomach up and the cashier asked if everything was okay and I said no it was disappointing so she went to call the manager over. I said no I don't want anything or wish to talk to him but he comes anyway then says their chicken is on a rack so he doesn't know how it would be greasy and walks off. Very rude. Should've just called me a liar. I wanted nothing for free and would've never said a word if she hadn't asked. She was very nice and apologetic for how he acted and for the food is why I give a 2 instead of a 1. Cornbread was really good but it was all that was. It's sad that we have to drive to the next town over to eat at a Cracker Barrel because of how bad this one is. read more

Worst Cracker Barrel ever! Filthy restaurant. Everything was sticky. Grilled chicken was just pressed chicken pieces. Hash browns looked like they were scraped off the bottom of the pan. My son ordered a burger, which was so charred it was a brick. Gravy was chalky and the chicken tenderloins were as big as my 16yo thumb. The one bright spot was our server who was so embarrassed at the length of time it took to get us our food, and then the condition of the food once it arrived. She asked the manager to come see us, but he avoided us. Terrible food! Keep traveling!! Pass this place up! In no way is this establishment worth the stop! read more

I'm not a fan of Cracker Barrel, but my parents are, so this is where they like to go when they are in town. I dislike having to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. I dislike having to wait over a half hour for my food to come out. I dislike the feeling of being rushed out the door. The servers are usually attentive. To me the food is just standard warmed up frozen stuff, nothing special. I have lived here 30 years and only go when i have to. read more

Ate lunch at the Applewood Farmhouse restaurant in Pigeon Forge, TN today and I can honestly say I would rather have Cracker Barrel! The a losing worst Cracker Barrel visit ever. Our waitress went home after taking our order another brought our food and forgot about us , had to ask another for our check. Forget about drink refills. Or dipping sauce for my sandwich. We were at that time just happy to leave. Cracker Barrel has always been one of my favorite country-themed dinners. Although it's a large chain store/eatery it still maintains its amazing-down home-country eating-cuisine. When I walked into this specific restaurant, I was greeted by a very friendly hostess who then preceded to ask how my day was. I love the down to earth people who always know how to make you happy. Overall the only complaint that I have is the tremendous amount of elderly. read more

I have very few negative comments about this place! The food is amazing whether you're eating breakfast lunch or dinner. The service is fantastic, I've never waited to get a drink, or to get biscuits/cornbread. I have never waited a very long wait for my food. It always tastes fresh. My only complaint would be the entrance when you're packing a car seat or if you have a large group walking through the store part it is hectic! Way too crowded to the point I feel claustrophobic. read more

Never again will I be going into this restaurant. After waiting for over an hour being initially told it would be a 30 minute wait, I am called back twice to confirm that all of my party was there. Was told the 1st time that my party would be the next big party. No problem. 15 minutes later a party larger than mine was called back. Then I asked how much longer it would be, was told they were cleaning off the table now. All good. Then I was called back and asked if my party would mine to sit in separate areas in the restaurant. We travel quite often and even though we like to try new places to eat, when we arroyo lung our home (camper) we like to stop at Cracker Barrel because they are RV friendly and always good. I was very disappointed when I saw only 3 stars for the Cracker Barrel in Corbin, Ky. I can tell you that it was every bit as good as all of the others I've tried and the service was fast, the food excellent and the atmosphere great. read more

you know i have to admit sometimes this is a good restaurant and sometimes it isnt. i enjoy the family aspects of the place, you get to sit around and chat with your family and friends while you wait for your food. this is where the problem comes in. Sometimes the service is REALLY freaking slow and you just want to eat your so hungry but other than that the place is clean the staff are great and i am always accomodated with an empty spot for my wheelchair. i wll always adore cracker barrel no questions asked. read more
