I really appreciate that there were people hanging out playing music and just talking at three in the morning. Waffle House remains a place for people to come at all hours and eat delicious food that doesn't cost like we're living in 2026. This location is another great example. read more

Today was my first visit to a Waffle House ever. I told the lady it's my first time and she said fory first time I should try their waffle. I'm so glad I did! I'm currently sitting at the bar at a Waffle House and am about to leave hungry because the kid messed up a simple order: hash browns scattered, smothered, and covered. This is NOT a special order. I did not create this dish. WH created this dish. The kid forgot to call the onions in my dish, and they almost served it to me. Meanwhile, my partner gets a whole plate of food (with bacon swimming in a plate of grease) and the only thing correct about my order---the sausage--was served. The line cook realized my hash browns were wrong just before the server gave them to me, so he took the plate back, threw some onions on the grill, then put my wrong hash browns back on top of the onions. After about 1-2 minutes he scooped everything up and re-plated it (he couldn't mix/cook the onions into the hash browns because they'd already been previously plated with cheese and the cook didn't think to just start over and make it right). Ultimately, the onions were basically raw, just burned on one side, and I couldn't help but just look at the plate and be disappointed. I just ate my sausage, had a piece of my partner's toast, and had the server remove the hash browns from the order. In 2023 post-COVID and with this new generation of young "workers," it doesn't make any sense to hoop and holler over a jacked food order. Just make different choices. Like McDonald's over Waffle House. P.S. Someone desperately needs to sweep under the service line. There's so much old food laying around on the floor, and I couldn't imagine all that accumulated just this morning. read more

What sets apart this run of this mill Waffle House location from the rest of the location is the customer service. You are greeted by a warm welcome by every person in there. My waiter Travis in particular, waited on me hand and foot. He checked in and made sure that all my needs were satisfied! The food was good, but the experience was elevated with the hospitality. If they could work on the cleanliness and turnaround time, this location can compete with the best of them. read more

If I could give a negative star I absolutely would! This place was absolutely filthy! The food was cold! The floors were so greasy you had to use extreme caution when walking. The menus were filthy! The coffee wasn't good at all! The only good thing was the waitress. She was friendly and served us as well as she could. We will NOT be going back there. read more

Pretty good Waffle House, though a little cramped, especially with me and my big shoulders in there. Don't know if you know, but I got huge shoulders. When I walk into a doorway, I kind of have to turn sideways; otherwise, I won't fit. My hometown (a burg named Chicago) once considered adding sidewalks parallel to the ones already laid down so that I could actually walk alongside other people. It was some kind of Civil War issue, I guess--no, not Civil War, civil rights--it was a civil rights issue. As my lawyer told the judge: The sidewalks are for the public; my client is a member of the public; so why can't he use them as others can? The case got thrown out of court (my stupid lawyer insisted on being invisible that day), but on the way home, St. Cyril came down from the heavens and told me everything would be alright as long as I made sacrifices to him (he actually said "unto" him, but I think he just meant "to"). I'm hoping he didn't mean the old kind of sacrifices--you know, the cut-an-explorer's-heart-out thing--and just the regular kind (you know, like not having my post-dessert snack once a week and giving the twenty-five cents to a charity like Harvard University or some shit like that). So I've been sacrificing. The food here was absolutely delicious. It's sinful food, of course, not necessarily meant for daily consumption, but whenever I am on the road, I go there. My kids are picky eaters, and they loved it, too. The staff was super-friendly--Southern hospitality, you could say. I appreciate that because I got used to people being rude to me all those years Enos, the sheriff's deputy, always placed me in handcuffs and accompanied me whenever I went out in pubic. Goddang dipstick, that man. Anyway, I can't remember if the staff was hot or not, but who cares--they were friendly and served up some good vittles. Of course, there was that one customer who was smokin' hot. Because I was there with the missus, and because St. Cyril and I agreed that it was wrong to do so, I couldn't get a sustained look, but if you like your women the way I like my women--two-legged, head-full of hair, a fan of the American navy--then doggone it, you know what I'm talking about! Were I single, I would have sauntered up to her right past her husband and grandkids and said, "Honey, I could tell from five blocks away that you were a mammal, if you know what I mean," and then glance downward, if you know what I mean. On our way to Georgia we stopped at this Waffle House around 9 in the morning. We had to sit at 3 separate tables considering it's a small space with limited seating. Maybe the fact that we were seated separately had to do with the inability to serve us but I'm not sure. 2 of our guests got the wrong order but didn't communicate this to the waitress as she simply avoided our tables. My chocolate chip waffle was delicious and very sweet of course and I left with a nice sugar coma. I also had to ask for a water 2x and a refill of coffee.
