Had a great dinner here at a good price (less than $15 for my peach tea, pot pie and biscuits. The tea and pot pie were both great. My entree came out within minutes. Staff is friendly amd attentive. Definately recommend this resturant.

    Pecan pancakes

I am never disappointed with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is consistently excellent as well as the service. My favorite is the pecan pancakes.

The food was great as always, creating memories with our families, now we enter the smell, the flavor, coffee, the Service by Noel T, unbeatable. Patient, and making sure that we have warm coffee all the time, from napkins to coffee creamer, kudos to the employees there.

Eating and shopping at the same time! What a great idea! Hey, if you have trouble getting into the holiday spirit, come to Cracker Barrel and be amazed by all the glistening Holiday items they have for sale. And now the food- the portions are generous, the food is tasty and if you are with a bunch of friends, like I was, it is sure to be a good time! Only advice is to be cognizant of school holidays because the place gets packed and lines are line. You can wait out front on their rocking chairs and they will send you a text when your table is ready...or you can start your holiday shopping while you wait!

It's been awhile since we have been to this location. It was Friday and since I'm Catholic, I decided to order the catfish. I wanted the special for 9 bucks but the waitress took it upon herself to give us the 14 dollar one. Knowing there are 2 different fish specials why didn't she ask us? The cheaper one only had 1 piece of fish. The fish came grilled and it was good. The fries, I could have done without as they were bland and got cold right away. Corn is corn, you can't write much about that. The biscuits and corn muffins were also cold and my friend's mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold as well. We did have a side of pancakes and they never fail! They were nice, crispy, and delicious! I wish I knew how they get them with crispy edges?

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

I visited this restaurant around 8:00 p.m. on a Monday evening while in town for a business trip…read more It was conveniently located near my hotel, and my first impression was very positive. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, was busy with guests, and I was seated within just a few minutes of arriving. Unfortunately, the experience began to decline after I was seated. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. While waiting, I looked through the menu and was surprised to find it noticeably dirty, which wasn't the impression I expected from a restaurant of this caliber. When my server finally arrived, she was polite but didn't seem particularly welcoming or engaging. She appeared stressed, which made the service feel rushed rather than hospitable. I ordered a Diet Dr Pepper and my meal at the same time since I had already decided what I wanted. It then took another 10 or more minutes for my drink to arrive. Shortly afterward, someone delivered bread with honey butter, which was excellent. However, no bread plate, napkin, or silverware accompanied it, so I had to flag down another employee before I could enjoy it. After waiting another 20-plus minutes, my steak and fries finally arrived. I had ordered the steak medium rare, but it was burned on one side, barely seared on the other, and when I cut into it, it was blue rare--nearly raw. I asked my server to send it back, and she promptly took it to the kitchen. About 15 minutes later, a replacement steak arrived. Unfortunately, while the opposite side was now burned, the inside was cooked to medium well. I let my server know this was still unacceptable, and she asked if I would like another steak prepared. I agreed, requesting simply that it be cooked medium rare without being burned. To the restaurant's credit, the third steak was prioritized and delivered by who I believe was the manager. She asked me to cut into it to confirm it was cooked correctly. Although the replacement was noticeably smaller and thinner than the original, it was cooked to a proper medium rare, so I accepted it. By that point, however, my fries were completely cold. The manager apologized briefly but never returned to check on the meal or my overall experience. My server didn't return until I was nearly finished eating, at which point she asked if everything was okay. I simply requested the check. What should have been about a 30-minute dinner stretched to well over an hour, and after a long day of business travel, I was ready to return to my hotel. I wasn't expecting my meal to be completely comped, but after multiple mistakes and significant delays, a small gesture of goodwill--such as discounting the entrée or even comping the soda--would have gone a long way. Overall, this restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and I believe the food has the potential to be very good when prepared correctly. However, the service, management's follow-up, and overall attention to the guest experience fell well below what I would expect from a restaurant of this quality. I hope they can improve these areas because the restaurant certainly has the potential to provide an excellent dining experience.

We are not sure what happened, but the place changed. The old staff (who were relaxed and fun to be around) are all gone, the delicious food we kept returning to have is also gone, replaced by a menu that doesn't know what exactly this restaurant wants to be (tacos, fried chicken, attempt at French menu items, etc). They have 6 different kinds of French toast. We tasted 2 of them, and they have the same taste. Just different toppings. The price for the French toast with eggs, bacon and home fries was $17. Now they charge $18 just for 2 slices of brioche with some sauce that resembles the old Banana Foster sauce, and an additional $6 for the eggs, bacon and home fries. Disappointing, and more expensive than it's worth. Walking into a restaurant to be held hostage by some speech about a small store selling books inside the restaurant?! Yeah, don't do that. If we hadn't already ordered, we would have left. No refill on water, no inquiry about any other drinks. I wasn't even finished with my meal and the server slapped the check on the table and walked away. If that doesn't make you feel "welcome to leave", I don't know what does. Looking around, I find it unacceptable to bring food to the table 5 minutes apart for every person at the table. The staff now wears embroidered shirts with the restaurant logo (except for one, she was just chewing her gum while taking orders- also, ew), and the atmosphere has changed from casual to "we wanna be high end, we made some money so now we want you to pay more". Disappointing.
