My wife & I just ate at the Cracker Barrel located in Foley Alabama and had the best server we've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. Her name was Alexa(is?). She was very outgoing with a great personality, courteous, and professional. She was very concerned about how we were enjoying meal and frequently brought us coffee refills. When we return to this location, we will definitely ask if she is working and, if so request one of her tables. Also, I love the traditional appeal of this Cracker Barrel... We ordered 2 kid meals and 2 adult meals. An hour and the kids food was delivered and eaten. I asked for a manger to check on the food for us. ( the kids were ready to leave) and finally the food came out and the order was wrong and items were missing. This was not the waitress's fault she was very nice. Started with the hostess. She would seat a couple and take her 10 mins to come back to seat the next ones. Then our waitress was so bad! She would bring our food in sections and we had to keep asking for the side of fruit, the hot sauce. Kept telling is that biscuits were coming out!...finally brought them to is as we had finished eating! Ordered a thanksgiving catering meal for pickup a week in advance. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at 8pm. I got here at 7:58pm, told them I was here and they said it would be out soon. At 8:15 I asked them to check on it. They were obviously much more concerned about arguing amongst themselves to decide who would go ask the manager if they could leave than actually serving patrons. Once they finally brought out the food (it's cold food to be clear, it's just food to be reheated on Thanksgiving, it did not need to cook) at 8:51pm, the manager just handed it to me and walked away.
