Loved the game! The food was outstanding!

This Cracker Barrel is outstanding! The service is perfection and the food was delicious!! Our server was Courtney and she was super helpful with suggestions for the kids and on top of everything! The restaurant is clean and the portions are huge! We came in 30 min before close and our food was still hot and fresh! Thank you Courtney and Cracker Barrel!

The food was really good. Our server was on the ball. And the ambiance is very casual. My sister likes your eggs over easy really runny. They were cooked too hard. That's the only complaint we had. Biscuits and gravy gravy was kind of bland. You could taste the flour in it. But other than that everything was great. Surprisingly the coffee was pretty good. And my eggs were cooked to perfection.

The most affordable breakfast in Missoula. Excellent food, service and the store is an added bonus to the morning.

All the employees here were so much friendlier than people from back home in Michigan. It reminded me of 2006 in the best way. Food came quick and was exactly what you'd expect out of Cracker Barrel (greasy, tastes good, solid prices). I'm just going to be honest... some of these negative reviews sound like absolutely insufferable, miserable people lol. "The toast was dry, two stars!" *posts picture of completely fine looking toast.* Some dipwad below actually had the nerve to whine that the waitress called them "friend." God forbid a restaurant maintains that human element.

    Vegetable country plate. 4 sides

Food was comfort food. It was well cooked for what it was. My partner liked it I thought it was so-so. I'm a vegetarian and the option's are limited. Service was fast and consistent. The place is fun I enjoy the store. Spacious tables and lots of seating.

Ok.... nice job to all that work there. Had a big breakfast before we hit the road again. I had the country breakfast with chicken fried steak. Our food came out right away and it was hot and yummy good!!! There's also a gift shop area when you first walk in with tons of whatever you need to make you smile. Kudos to all that work there!!!

Arrived on a Sunday morning around 7:45. Sign was up to wait to be seated. Restaurant was not very full. Waited perhaps 5 minutes, had to ask a cashier if there was a hostess. She took us to our table. Gave is menus, the one I had was souled with pancake syrup. If I was alone that would have been it. Traveling with my wife and mother in her 80s. A couple that arrived after us was visited by the waitress first. Then she came to our table. I had to repeat, you know slow it down for the waitress. Bacon and eggs over easy, sourdough and gravy on the hashbrowns. Coffee was great. Food arrived. Toast was dry. I don't normally use jam or jelly so didn't think to look in that dish for butter on the side. Gravy was missed. Wife had a side of hashbrowns, small serving. Mom had biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were white, like perhaps could have been baked another few minutes. Gravy was on the side. Portions on mine were small but honestly enough. Gravy had a pasty or floury texture. All in all likely will not return to this chain.

The location makes it very convenient to go to the very pleasant bookstore next door while waiting for a table - there is no shortage of customers even on a Wednesday late morning. The line is well-managed with a waiting area and restaurant pagers handed out. It seems like a place that is frequented as much by young people as retirees. They have a combo plate that includes two eggs, hash browns, a protein (I've so far only tried the corned beef hash), and two pancakes starting at 17 with upgrades available for the pancakes. It can easily be split for breakfast and offers a really good variety of things. The corned beef hash, hash browns, and pancakes are all top notch in my opinion (and the eggs are good eggs also). There are numerous Best Breakfast Winner posters hanging above the window to the kitchen and I don't think this place needs much support - they seem to be doing quite well - but in case this reaches someone who is visiting Missoula and doesn't know about it, it's well-worth a stop. HOWEVER, you guys have got to get your shit figured out. The cashier gave us a number placard, and told us to stay at the front to get our drinks before sitting. So we did. Employees were abuzz, swarming like ping pong balls, and making food/drinks. We stood and waited, then after like 15 minutes a gal came out and handed me my plate of food!? We hadn't even gotten our drinks yet. *Why was I being handed food first, standing, versus receiving my drink and then served food while seated at our table?* I wandered to find a table, and found myself weaving through a bunch of people. It was awkward since all the tables/chairs are spaced SO close together. My husband stayed at the front for our lattes, as I started to eat alone. :( We loved the food, but we felt unhappy about the fracas and chaos. This is NOT the way to run a restaurant. We sat and enjoyed our lattes, and the eclectic ambiance. Finally another 12 to 15 minutes later, my husband's biscuits and gravy arrived. I am a slow eater, and I was already done eating, when he began to eat. :( Sad to say, our experience was extremely disappointing. Totally disjointed, and it left us feeling frustrated and irritated. This shouldn't need to be said, but you guys need to serve people in the order they come in. Get those tickets done asap, and it'll clear up your insane bottleneck you create by serving the "easiest" drinks and meals first. Yummy food, but NOT a good dining experience. Also, there are some funny reviews whining about feeling uncomfortable that this place is anti-ICE. Pro-lgbtq. "Oh the horror" to be inclusive, and tolerant of other people! I just know what you would've been balking about in the 1950's... Clyde Coffee is said to be a "liberal" coffee shop, but if you think about it, this is simply human decency... Treat others with basic kindness, and you won't feel such guilt. :)

I arrived right when they opened, yet several seats still had crumbs on them. The service was quick, though not overly warm or welcoming. I also found it odd that the drink menu is printed separately on paper instead of being included on the main menu--it feels less polished than the rest of the space. As someone who eats plant based, I'd love to see vegan items clearly labeled on the menu and at least one more substantial vegan entrée option. I ordered the Powerhouse Overnight Oats for $22. They were actually quite tasty and surprisingly filling. However, at that price, I expected a little more. The chia seeds were dry rather than fully hydrated, and consuming dry chia seeds on their own is generally discouraged because they absorb liquid after being eaten. One final suggestion: please include menu prices on your website. It makes it much easier for customers to decide before visiting.

Biscuits and gravy was very disappointing: Biscuits- hard, chewy but the taste was good if that makes sense. Actually had to use my knife to cut the biscuit properly over cooked or warmed in a microwave?? For the Elk gravy- it was disgusting, there was a couple small specks of meat to be found. But it was over powering taste of onions. They should call it Onion gravy because that's all you can taste and no meat. Definitely don't not recommend the biscuit and gravy! The rest of the breakfast was fine and tasty. Coffee is very strong and bold flavor. Not for the weak of heart. A lot of people have commented on the wait time for their food. My coffee was never refilled, nor was there an offer of a refill on my black coffee until they literally brought the check. And then, after receiving less than stellar service, when they saw that I wasn't tipping on my credit card was actually verbally scoffed at with expectation by the waitress who was processing the card to the point where it made my wife uncomfortable, and she had to tell them that there was a cash tip on the table. Had I known their behavior would continue to be so abhorrent towards their customers I wouldn't have bothered to leave a cash tip either. Unfortunately, the food is great, but the atmosphere is about as good as an outhouse in summer. As a Missoula native and longtime liquid planet customer, we won't be spending any more money with that business, or any of their other locations.
