Glens is amazing! We have always enjoyed going into the restaurant and eating but recently have been enjoying ordering ahead and picking up. It's not always an available option especially when they are very busy on the weekends- which makes sense. The staff is always so wonderful. The food is always so fresh and tasty. If you're driving through or just need some good ol home cooked feel good food, go to Glens! The cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious. We always love the burgers and fries. read more

We've been wanting to try this place for awhile now and finally went yesterday for breakfast. The atmosphere here is nice, with a small town diner feel which is what I always look for in a restaurant. Our waitress, on the other hand was not friendly, not even a little. I had high hopes of giving this place 5 stars and would have if our server was pleasant. Perhaps she was having a bad day, or maybe that is just her normal personality, but regardless it wouldn't have hurt her to be nice or even smile. The food was good and so were the portions. I guess my only real complaint was our waitress. As we were walking to our car, we all commented on her demeanor so I know it wasn't just me. We will probably give this place another try because we all enjoyed our food and left feeling full. read more

A real favorite among Montana's small town cafes. Glen's is nestled in a c.1960 log cabin just off U.S. 93. Opinions differ but I favor the breakfast and cinnamon roll while others like the lunch specials, the burgers, and the pies, especially the fruit pies. The trad Montana breakfast of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and wheat toast is executed to perfection here. Bacon and browns always crispy. And then the cinnamon roll--a meal in itself as any true Montana cinnamon roll should be: tasty ,cinnamony and gooey. Service at the counter or table is always prompt, friendly, efficient. Glen's is our go to breakfast spot. Warm and cozy environment, excellent service (5 star!), and delicious food. We always meet the nicest people here and love the old diner vibe. You will often see Glen and his wife sitting at the bar having a meal and greeting everyone with a smile. We get the veggie omelette, pancakes and bacon and they never disappoint. This place sucks ass. I've only eaten there once and they served me the wrong order. It's pretty much the only place for breakfast in Florence. They are not accommodating at all. Rude even. Their current website says they serve breakfast all day, but when I called to order breakfast, at around noon, they said nope, with no hesitation or explanation. They were rude about it, and I've tried about 5 times in the last 5 years, since I live here in Florence. Owner must not care about customers, or teaching employees. Customer service is 0 out of 10. Eggs and bacon were on point (see photo) I was swimming in the yolkies all the way to flavor town* hashies = crispy, delicious w/ ketchup (which half the time results in heartburn, but not this time) I was charged up for the day.. saw a photo of the cinnamon rolls - we got one. After a morning of hiking in the snow our group had developed quite an appetite and needed to put it to bed. Lucky for us we stumbled upon Glenn's café with the help of yelp. A member of our party sometime suffers from celiac attack, so we had to talk to the cook to make sure that we could have food that had no traces of gluten. The cook more than obliged and told us of her history of dealing with similar subjects. Between the three of us we tried biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and bacon and cheese omelette, all of which were delicious, particularly the hashbrowns as we asked for extra crispy and boy did they deliver. The Butterscotch milkshake was delightful. Glenn's is known for their pie, of which they maintain a rotating schedule, but there was no chocolate which was what we were in search for.
