    Good morning, Cracker Barrel!
    Bruce K.

I arrived at Cracker Barrel just before closed but was here when they opened. I was here thanks to their fantastic support of the RV lifestyle. They are okay with people overnight in their parking lot with the understanding that we're respectful and it would be appreciated if we would buy a meal. I did take a look through the store which has the usual candies, clothing, decor items and of course, books on CD for rent/purchase. The restrooms are clean and the young lady who greeted me was pleasant. Breakfast of coffee, eggs, bacon and a biscuit. Delicious and filling. This is what gets me going in the morning! I'm just plain dumb ;(

A great Cracker Barrel location! I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in years and have never been to this one, but it's a franchise that retains its vintage decor and country cooking, no matter where you are. Sometimes the vibes aren't great if you're a POC, but this one passes the vibe check. Our server Kat was so so sweet and attentive. She readily answered our questions and was just an exceptionally good server. The food was great too. The fried chicken has a distinct black pepper taste, which I love, and was perfectly crispy. The French toast is a little bit salty for French toast, but still good. My vegetarian friend highly approves of the Impossible sausage, which she subbed in her Biscuits Benedict. From my one visit, I highly recommend this location!

I've been to various Cracker Barrel's and this one was about average though the chicken and dumplings were slightly disappointing.

They are closed Sun., Mon. And Tues.. There are these amazing iced sugar cookies, fudge, brownies, cakes, pies, cheesecakes, muffins, scones and little baby pies. Then if you want a savory bite they have that too, we did and it was delicious. Friendliest assistance, extra personable. Picked up a cookbook to give these recipes a spin in my kitchen. Thanks!!!!

It was not far off the highway. We were greeted by a very cheerful young lady at the cash register. We told her we had never been here before, so she said that meant we would get a free sugar cookie. Nice! They did have breakfast sandwiches. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. My wife had a scone with egg and cheese. We added coffee. There was no place to sit inside, so we sat on the porch. It was very comfortable. Our friendly young lady brought us our sandwiches plus the coffee pot to fill our cups. Great service, plus a very tasty breakfast sandwiches. The sugar cookie was iced, so it was sweet and good. What a terrific place to stop on our long journey home. We were glad we did!

The hostess asked if we would be ok with a table for 4 and a chair at the end which wasn't a problem for us. So the group behind us got seated. Then the next group. About 5 minutes later we were seated at a 4 and a 2 top pushed together. We were seated with 3 menus for adults and a child menu, with 4 place settings. When the server greeted us and took our drink order we asked for another menu and place setting. She bought the menu quickly. We placed our drink order, 1 was a half and half tea with lemon. An unsweetened tea was delivered and rather than send it back there was sugar on the table. When the server came for our dinner order, lemon was asked for as well as the other place setting. One of the orders was for Cajun shrimp and rice with a side of sweet potato casserole. When dinner was delivered we asked if we could have that other place setting which was finally brought. The shrimp on the menu says that it's 2 skewers of shrimp. This was 5 shrimp when it was delivered. At this point we just wanted to eat and figured that we weren't coming back and really didn't want to complain. The child ordered the kids Mac and cheese. It was cold so he was given the sweet potato casserole to eat. When the server came back another sweet potato casserole was ordered. When everyone was done eating she came back and said that they were out. I really don't think any of us will ever go back here. I'm only giving it 1 star because I have to at least give one, otherwise I'd not give any. I wish that we had taken a picture of the shrimp dinner to post. Apparently 2 filled skewers of shrimp is 2 1/2 shrimp per skewer. And it's also a premium price.

I ordered the grilled chicken wrap and fries. Originally, I wasn't going to get fries but when I learned that it's fried in beef tallow, that was an instant change of mind. So glad to learn that not all restaurants use terrible seed oils. I got my food to go as I was in a rush to hit the road, but the food came out fresh and delicious and I would definitely come back here in the future and sit down next time. The service was quick and friendly, and the ambience inside was very casual and inviting. Definitely a wonderful lunchtime experience for me and I plan to return.

First the bad: 1. Their prices are outrageous now. I get things have gone up, but two buffets with drinks is almost $30 - how can a family afford to come here now? 2. The employees who were working on Wednesday night were not very friendly, especially the one with long hair wafting in the breeze as he walked around. It really seemed like a bunch of high school boys just goofing off, they barely smiled, and the one seemed to have a chip on his shoulder the size of Mt. Rushmore (the one with long hair). There was one guy who was friendly as we were leaving but I don't know if I saw him prior to that time. Usually there is an extremely nice gentleman working, he always smiles, doesn't know my name but recognizes me from all my years patronizing the restaurant, and he truly is just cheerful and welcoming. Also the owner is super nice. She has done soooo much to continue to update the restaurant, the games, the seats, you name it! Now for the good, actually the great! 1. Per the norm, the restaurant was clean and bright. 2. The food on the buffet was hot, fresh, and always stocked (so even though the boys might have been goof offs they were working on something). The mac and cheese was super fresh and my daughter said it was the best she had ever had there. 3. The games were updated and fun. There was a new VR game and the game room was clean. There was a variety of games for most ages, and everyone seemed to be having fun. 4. The pizza was delicious, and exactly what I expect when I go there. Since moving away, Gattis is one of the go to places as soon as I touch down because it has so many good memories, and it's comfort food. It always sucks when you go back to a place you used to frequent to "relive" a moment and it's not what it once was - but Gattis always delivers and the cheese sticks and pizza are still the same and still great.
