We arrived at our hotel late in the evening and there are not many places open past 9pm in the area. Cracker Barrel was open until 11pm so we walked over. Justin was our server and he actually greeted us outside. We did not wait more than 2 minutes before someone greeted us at the host stand and actually apologized for making us wait! As we were walking to our table, we noticed the fireplace going and it had real wood! It was so cozy! Justin approached us not long after and offered us to order drinks. We ordered waters, wine, and beer. So the last time we dined at Cracker Barrel was almost 11 years ago because we became deathly ill. The last time, I do not believe they served alcohol so we were surprised seeing it on the menu. Our drinks were delivered quickly and Justin offered us to order dinner. Hubs ordered the Country Fried Turkey with mac and cheese and hashbrown casserole. I ordered the Country Vegetable Plate with green beans, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and hashbrown casserole. Justin came back later and informed us there was only enough hashbrown casserole for one of us so he said I could order a side salad for no extra charge-sweet! Our food arrived not too long after and the salad was massive! Very fresh too! The Hashbrown casserole was good, everything else was okay but not magnificent. When we went to checkout, there were people taking way too long while their f'in kids were causing havoc in the store so we paid by using the QR code on the receipt. Our check was $45, which was pretty decent for 2 meals, 2 beers, and 1 wine. Oh but there were charges for getting apple butter and having a mix of biscuits and cornbread- was not aware of that when ordering. Wait wasn't bad to be seated. It was a Friday night. Service was SLOW we waited almost an hour for food. Biscuits and corn bread didn't come out first. If it did it would have probably helped with hungry customers. The party that got seated before us already left before we even got our food. This is unacceptable. read more

I can't remember the servers name, but he was fantastic. I normally only eat breakfast at the Cracker Barrel, but I took a chance for lunch and chose the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and biscuits. The Meat Loaf had this weird texture, and it was very salty along with the gravy. I wasn't thrilled with the mashed potatoes. If anything the biscuits were the best and it only cost $8.99. Anything more I might've asked for a refund, but since I'm staying in the area, I will try again. read more

When you enter, it is a warm and friendly environment. You definitely feel welcomed! I really like that about this particular location. It was relatively busy but we got in and got seated very fast and there ended up being a line behind us that got long fast. Upon being seated, I wasn't as impressed with the cleanliness of the table. It was still wet and had crumbs that were missed. I found that a little gross. There were napkins available so I wiped it dry and cleaned up the crumbs since my toddler was already ready to color up his kid's menu. Our waitress was very nice and pleasant. She seemed a little flustered though. It must have been the amount of tables she had or the rush that arrived. The food took a while to get out and I realized later that the bigger party in front of our table had been waiting a while and almost left. I'm assuming for the amount of time it took the food to get out. They ended up staying but didn't seem pleased the rest of their stay. The food was very mediocre. I've been to Cracker Barrel before on several occasions but it's been over 6 years. The breads were extra buttery. The steak was very bland and the scrambled eggs were airy and had a slightly rubbery texture. I regretted my meal choice (NY strip n' eggs with hash browns) but was super hungry. The mini pancakes from the kid's menu was okay. My daughter complained of her stomach starting to ache so she didn't even finish the small dish. It may have been the buttery biscuit and buttery pancakes that bothered her. My wife ordered the "Grandpa's Breakfast" with grits and sunny side up eggs. She had the same mediocre rating we all had. This was her first time eating at a Cracker Barrel and had talked about wanting to go before, so she had high hopes. Normally, the results of the overall visit and taste of food is much better. Unfortunate for her first experience. There isn't a good or efficient way of paying with your card at the store. There are three cashier spots available but the way the line can get formed is terrible. It's very crowded and there's no definite position of the line(s). There is a way to pay scanning a code on your receipt which is your best bet in the end if you're not purchasing any other gift items. Five stars for a great meal and then a great night's sleep. I've been visiting Cracker Barrels around the US because they tolerate RVers parking overnight in their lots. And in return, they would like you to please purchase a meal (but it's not required). Warmly greeted with a ten minute wait for a table, we got the corner in the first section. A friendly waiter took our order and about 10 minutes later, dinner arrived. In between, fresh and warm biscuits to munch. Southern Smoky Chicken with broccoli and carrots for me. Rainbow trout with mashed potatoes and fried apples for my wife. We both enjoyed our meals very much. After dinner, I moved the Sprinter to a corner of the lot. We locked up and were out for the night. Other than a few trucks going by on I-95 that got quiet after 10pm, it was an excellent rest. Thanks for the great meal and the great sleep, Cracker Barrel! Came here on a Sunday afternoon while traveling. I was seated right away by the hostess with 0 personality. My waitress was Sarah and she is the BEST waitress I have had in a long time. Friendly, professional, fast, and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the old timer breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon and grits. Asked for crispy bacon....didn't get it. The eggs must have been small eggs....but at least they were good. Grits were runny but ok. All was served hot. The shining star that saved this from a three star review were the biscuits. Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday May 14th 2025 with my parents. We stopped here because we were headed for a road trip to Florida. Easy exit and entrance to 95, which is always good. Note: this is not my first time at a cracker barrel but first time at this location. Many of them are the same with the setup of the store, and the restaurant part. With plenty of parking, we parked and then went to the front and was greeted by a host, who sat us right away. (other reviews on here are interesting, but maybe in the morning there is less of a wait then nightime or afternoon.) Loved the window view! Our server also greeted us right away and we started with 3 waters and 3 coffees. For breakfast, I got the chocolate chip short stack with beyond sausage and eggs (as it comes in a meal), my parents both got the grandma breakfast. Server was very pleasant. Oh, and restrooms located in the back of the store were clean. Food arrived in a prompt manner, and was enjoyed. we left a cash tip, and paid with a credit card. April 22 2025 After traveling over seven hours from Florida and checking into our hotel decided to go for dinner. We had eaten here last year and on that visit was told they couldn't make chicken because it was too late. We thought that was just a fluke so decided to come back. On this visit, we were told there were no biscuits, no soup, no chicken fingers and it appeared that our waitress had an attitude. After deciding what we could have from the menu, that was available, we waited for a very long time and witnessed other patrons waiting as well. We saw the hostess busing tables. I saw biscuits that came out and ask our waitress if we could have some and she said sure if you want them microwaved! Microwaved - who does that?? Cracker Barrel without biscuits, really? The biscuits came out with cornbread too and they tasted like cornmeal that was not cooked, and the biscuits were totally disgusting! We found our poor waitress was totally stressed out trying to do everything....she didn't have an attitude, she was STRESSED! WHAT in the world is going in with this place? if you're trying to save money by not hiring people, it's not working!!! Upon leaving and paying my husband was asked how everything was and he told the lady it was awful! The lady's reply was "it's the management". My husband asked if the manager was there and she said no, which was probably a good thing cause he would've got an earful! THIS CRACKER BARREL can improve EVERYTHING. We arrived around 8:10 pm was told it was a 20 min wait table for four, sat down @ 8:32 All staff that walked by just ignored us. @8:57pm we mentioned to the cashier we hadn't been addressed she apologized and said she would send someone right over. 9pm another table complained about waiting for food and was told by staff that they would understand if they wanted to leave. That's when we knew this might be a problem. But after driving 16hours we were hungry and didn't trust just any place but @9:10pm no one came over to us yet so after seeing the girls hanging out by the kitchen talking and two girls just talking at the podium we just told them the wait was way too long and we were leaving and walked out. Are the Cracker Barrel's along I95 just too busy and don't care anymore are millennials too lazy are managers not managing ( we don't see anyone who looked like they were in charge btw. I've been an advocate for Cracker Barrel while friends have expressed their similar experiences at other Cracker Barrel's but I can't defend you guys anymore. I live a few blocks from this location and visit often for breakfast. It has improved drastically. A few weeks ago there was an unfriendly hostess. Haven't seen her lately. Hopefully she's gone! The servers are fast and friendly. The food is on point for a Cracker Barrel. You have to get the beignets! I opt for the chicken fried chicken accompanied by three side dishes. Specifically, I choose a side of mashed potatoes and two sides of corn. On the other hand, my husband prefers a potpie along with four additional biscuits. Additionally, we always include a half gallon of sweet tea, two take-home add-ons, and occasionally indulge in fried pickles. Yesterday evening, my spouse kindly picked up everything on his way back home to spare me a journey, as it is a considerable 25-minute drive each way. Upon his return, we unwrapped the food, only to find that my meal was cold. The mashed potatoes I received were indistinguishable from the frozen side dish available for takeout. I was left with a single serving of corn, no sawmill gravy, essentially frozen mashed potatoes, cold corn, and even the chicken was cold. There is absolutely no justification for not receiving what I paid for, and there is no excuse for it to be served cold. Prior to making any assumptions, it is important to note that there was a delay of approximately 25-30 minutes, causing my husband to wait for the food to be prepared. When he mentioned that my meal appeared cold to the staff, they dismissed his concern by attributing it to the chill from the two take-home meals. Furthermore, they informed him that they had run out of most of their condiments, resulting in us receiving only 3 jams and 1 butter for the 8 biscuits we ordered. This is not an isolated incident; it happens every single time. Typically, I would contact the manager, but despite doing so repeatedly, only once has any action been taken. Otherwise, we are left to accept the situation without receiving a partial refund or even a complimentary side for the items they have overlooked. We once spent 45 minutes waiting in the parking lot for our curbside order, only for me to eventually go inside and inquire about the delay. To my surprise, I was informed that the person responsible for bringing out our order had gone outside but failed to notice us. Despite being parked in spot number one, right in front of the door and under a street light, we had been diligently watching the entire time and she never once came outside. By the time we received our food, it had all turned cold. The items that were supposed to be crispy and crunchy had become soggy. Adding to our frustration, we then had to endure a 25-minute drive home after the already lengthy wait in the parking lot. I requested for our food to be remade, but unfortunately, we were denied as there was deemed to be no reason for it since the order was correct. It was disheartening to realize that even when they managed to get the order right, we still ended up with cold food. We typically dine at that establishment on a weekly basis. However, moving forward, I will be commuting to Summerville, which is approximately equidistant. The only difference is that there is slightly more traffic, but at least my food is prepared accurately. I am unwilling to persist in paying $40-50 for a meal and an additional 15-18% for gratuity when the staff blatantly lacks respect for their patrons. And prior to anyone suggesting that I should have eaten the food there if I wanted it hot, I frequently order take put from Orangeburg & Saint Matthews (further away) and the food always makes it to my home in a warm and fresh state, never cold or frozen. read more

I stopped in here early on Sunday with two young ladies after a weekend camping trip at Santee State Park. I figured after all they did over the weekend, including a ten mile hike, that they deserved a treat. We were not disappointed. Pecan pancakes, Grandma's special, and wild blueberry pancakes were the entrees, but I also added in sides of loaded tater tots and beignets for treats. The coffee flowed freely, the orange juice was refreshing, and the food was amazing. The pancakes had that nice buttery crisp around the edges, and the maple syrup was straight from Vermont, which will always get an extra star in my book. Service was prompt and friendly. They told me they're short staffed and one of the managers had to come out of the kitchen from cooking and explain to everyone waiting, not just us, it's going to be a while to even get food even if we are seated. It's kind of ridiculous as we still needed to drive an additional 2 hours north to our final destination. Had we known from the beginning it would be over an hour and a half, we would have immediately gone somewhere else. I don't believe that what they did was good business practice. Cracker Barrel has always been very accommodating to RV'ers for a short overnight stay, and this one was no exception. A few new things on the menu, one of which I tried and can say is excellent: the Bacon & Hash Brown Casserole. Loaded with scrambled eggs, diced tomatoes, fried onions and BACON! Underneath is their wonderful hash brown casserole, and it comes with a side of biscuits. Our server, Madison, was friendly, prompt and very courteous. Filled my 22 oz coffee cup first time through, so no issues with my cup getting empty. read more

The waitress acted like she didn't want to wait on us and voided coming to your table. When I spoke with the manager all she could say is that I'm sorry and that my food is probably in the window. Didn't bother going to check or anything. She was just rude. Don't have to worry about me stopping here again. Please avoid this Cracker Barrel if you don't want to experience racism.
