Well, it's 6:59 am. They open at 7 am. Refused to let me in one minute early and with a bad attitude. She was sweeping up but I'm sure she'd had panty of time to clean up. Can't tell you about the food because I walked strat across the street to BoJangles and got a breakfast plate for $6.21 and that was with tax and what a delightful end to my morning. Never heard of this chain before but basically it was a Waffle House with a bigger menu. Order came or quickly, accurately, and hot. Service was friendly, and the bathrooms were relatively clean. Parking could get sparse at busy times. Restaurant itself was quite cold. With that said, this particular location didn't accept coupons or discount codes from the app. read more

This place was really good, I had a meal here on 4/1/23. Very crowded, but I sat at the counter. There were plenty of servers and cooks, and my meal was delivered to me about 7 minutes after ordering. I had 3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 3 bacon strips. I have to give a shout out to the cook because my eggs (over well) were cooked perfectly. I don't like any runny yolks or any uncooked yolks at all, and he nailed it. Thanks to him. Very good meal and hearty portions. (Sorry no pics this time) My server was busy, yet attentive, she was friendly and very cheerful. Easy on/off I-95 -- tip: park on the right side of the restaurant (the side away from 95), there is plenty of parking there. Good huddle house restaurant in Santee. A tad understaffed, but ordered and got hot food fast. Omelet was good, not sure if it was pre-made or not. Hashbrowns were good. Menu was huge. Staff was extremely nice and apologetic. Lots of dirty tables though and customers cleaning them themselves. The understaffed workers can only do so much. Overall good experience. read more

As we pulled in the parking lot today 7/13/24 the waiter was outside smoking drugs. I walked in and all my family could smell was drugs. we ordered 3 drinks and could not get the smell out of our nose so i asked to pay for the drinks without even taking a drink was charged over 6 dollars for a Tea a Coke and water. This is very bad business for a city that is failing and with the waiter doing drugs on the premises is not a good sign. I advise anyone not to go here. I won't be back as I don't need my son smelling the drugs they are smoking in front of the res. read more

Friendly folks and fast service!! SO much better than the Waffle House in Santee!!

Came in for breakfast on 12/28 around 930am. Place was pretty full and only 3 booths were open. Appeared to be only 1 server working the entire area. I sat at a booth and looked at the menu. Saw 2 other couples who were there before me at tables across from me also looking at menus. No server approached them either. 15 to 20 minutes later I left. The guy across from me nodded his head at me and I saw he and wife also leave as I was getting into my car. Its sad that either no one wants to work anymore or there is no work ethic among those already employed there. Management needs to be held accountable for list customers. I have never been to a Huddl House and it's likely ill never return to one. Someone told me its a cheap Waffle House wannabe. Waffle House was my first choice but they were closed for renovations. May not be the best Huddle House within the state of South Carolina but when I come here every once in a while, I get what I like and they always get my order right. The people who work there are respectful when I go so I don't have any major issues when I come to this place. read more

This morning, my friends and I went to get breakfast at huddle house in Santee. My best friend and I enjoy breakfast burritos a lot but wanted to ask our server if they had salsa and sour cream before ordering. Miss Ashley took great care of us. When we asked her about the extra condiments, she said that they didn't have any but that she would run to the grocery store to get us salsa and sour cream if that's what we wanted. She ran quickly to the store after we placed our order and we felt right at home! She went the extra mile for us. Our drinks were filled at all times, our food was great, and the service was outstanding! Thank you so much, Miss Ashley for taking excellent care of us. We will be back! read more

Stopped here otw back from bike riding Palmetto Trail Lake Moultrie. The service and the food was awesome! The last time we stopped was quite some time ago before they closed up with the Covid going on it was pretty dirty looking and the service left much to be desired but today was a great experience. Only complaint was my pickiness on the hash browns which I like extra crispy and I had to send them back after super specific instructions on how I like them cooked. Potato chip crispy . They where still wet looking. But that's just me. Waitress was on top of everything and the place was really clean. Unlike some we have been to. Menu had some great pics and healthy options. Will return. I would drive 30 minutes to eat there again! Good job guys!! read more

Ohhh huddle house, you tricked me! Here i was looking for a local / family owned restaurant during brunch hours and thought "that's an interesting name so it must be good.". Sure, i could've clicked on 'More info' or searched but who has time for that? I'll forgive you though, only because the wait staff was very efficient. Huddle house is a franchise that's fairly popular on the east coast - just not the far south east where i'm from. It's very similar to Denny's (which we have plenty of in my city) but the huddle house offerings don't seem as creative. This location is small with simple styling. All tables are within view of the counter and i believe this is why i had a new cup / drink just before i would finish the last - i had multiple drinks and was really thirsty so the waitress really kept an eye on me. My order was a basic breakfast so it isn't worth describing but i smirked when i saw that the waffles had "HH" (embossed?) in the middle. Huddle house may be a huge franchise but you get the small diner experience at this location. read more

Great breakfast. Food is fresh, portions are hearty and service is fast. The decor is very simple, so that may turn some people off. Waitstaff works extra hard at taking orders, serving food, washing dishes and everything else under the sun. Hard workers indeed. Will return a few more times during our trip. read more

After eating a greasy meal I was sick all day the staff were really loud laughing and joking around will never go there again

Absolutely horrible experience, worst breakfast I have ever been served. Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was how slimy the floor was(I should have left then). After sitting at the table for more than 5 minutes, the waiter finally made his way over to take our order(it wasn't busy, there was one other table, and a couple at the counter). When he was finished taking our order he asked if we were paying with cash or credit, strange. After waiting and waiting for our drinks, the waiter eventually calls over to us from the counter letting us know he forgot what drinks we asked for. We let him know and he comes by with the drinks a few minutes later. Then the food comes out. I ordered scrambled eggs and french fries with toast. These were the most disgusting scrambled eggs I have ever had, I took one bite and I was done. There were white snotty bits throughout, and the flavor, I've never had scrambled eggs that tasted so awful. I decided I'd just eat the fries until the waiter came back so I could let him know the eggs were terrible, but that's when I noticed my plate was dirty. They served me unscrambled eggs on a dirty plate....on a DIRTY plate. It had crusted cheese and a black grease on it. I was done eating, I didn't want anything else. At some point while waiting for my husband to eat his disgusting food(cold toast, mushy hash browns and eggs) I looked over toward the counter and I see the waiter grabbing some drink cups, and his fingers were inside the cup, that's when I stopped drinking my soda. The waiter never bothered to come by to ask if everything was ok; when my husband was done eating(by done I mean he couldn't stomach any more of the slop he was served) he waived the waiter down for the check. We let him know they served me snotty unscrambled eggs on a dirty plate, he removed it from the check, no apology, just asked me to sign a receipt saying they removed the charge for my "meal". You couldn't pay me to eat at this place again. read more

This was the 2nd worst meal of my life. The food was so bad the staff were eating wings ordered from somewhere else, my friends omelet had a skin on it...yuck, they forgot half of my order and gave it to me in a Togo container when we were leaving. This place was dirty and nasty although the waitress was pleasant, she obviously didn't have any experience in serving food. There was no supervision and they pretty much just did whatever they wanted. I could understand if it was busy but there only 8 people in the restaurant.
