Busy at Sunday brunch and with our party of 10 we had a bit of a wait. Sat by the fireplace so all the ladies liked the warmth. The server was nice and on top of our refills. Food took a while to come out, but everything was correct for the most part. The country fried turkey dinner at $15 was not quite accurate per the menu picture. The cup of cranberry was Micro sized w/ about 1 tbsp worth. Turkey was delicious and the baked apples as well. Coleslaw was ok & cornbread was good flavor. Haven't been here for a while but as always, the home style cooking and good service keeps us coming back. I'm kind of a (self proclaimed) pancake connoisseur... and I just have to share that their chocolate chip pancakes are amazing! They were so soft, fluffy, have that crispy butter ring and a good amount of chocolate chips. I'm hooked! The service was great. The Sunday morning wait was long, but worth it. The menu boasts "thick" bacon but it was disappointingly thin and fatty. The chicken sandwich was thick and juicy, but the amount of fries was minimal. They have an app, with a rewards program, as well as mobile pay by scanning a qr code on the check. (I couldn't get the mobile pay to work though, so I had to pay at the register.) When we arrived at the host stand, we gave a phone number and we received a text when our table was ready. I believe I saw something about a waitlist on the app, but didn't utilize it. I loved the warmth and cozy feel of the huge fireplace we walked past on the way to our seats. The decor is old country and fun. There's a huge gift shop to check out while you wait for a table, or after. And there are always those triangle peg games on every table. read more

Tuesday morning, not too crowded. Seated quickly, our server was very friendly. Coffee was good. All down hill from there. I ordered the Grandma's Sampler. French Toast was burnt and unedible. Eggs were cold. Sausage Patty was undercooked. Country Ham was like jerky. The one slice of bacon was as bad as the ham. Hash Browns were also undercooked. I let the server know that the breakfast was not up to par, which of course was not her fault. She removed the charge for this from my bill. This place has the best little store right when you enter. Many unique gifts and ornaments for the Christmas season. The restaurant was busy, but did not have to wait to be seated. They have good food and even better service. Our waitress was amazing. Service was quick and she checked on us multiple times. She was very helpful when questions were asked regarding the menu. Placed an online order for 2 kids pancake meals, one with bacon and the other with turkey sausage . I picked up my order and I should have checked it then but I didn't until I get home and my pancakes are filled with some black marks all over them and then they show a picture of 2 pieces of turkey sausage but there was only 1 in the tray with the pancakes and they also show 3 strips of bacon but there was only 2 strips of bacon in the tray. So they are misleading on how many pieces of meat you get with the order and they cooked my pancakes on a dirty grill. See photos. read more

I hadnt been to a Cracker Barrel in about 20 years. This restaurant was great and hadnt changed much stil has the nostaligic feel. Although they do sell alcohol now which was a surprise. Now the alcohol is a"margarita" strawberry or original and apparently it comes from a can. It tasted like a strawberry wine cooler and gave me a splitting headache and that was only after 1. I would not order again. The food was great. I got the sampler with all 3 choices meatloaf,chicken and dumplings, and fried chicken. The food was good but the chicken was freaking AhMazing! I really don't like leaving bad reviews. And I love Cracker Barrel overall. But, we didn't have a great experience at this location. When we got there we waited quite awhile until the store manager came over to tell us they don't have a hostess from 1-4 and she didn't know what tables were open. Now I'm a manager myself in a different field and I never give excuses. I don't feel that was necessary to tell us. And apology and let me go get someone to help seat you would have sufficed. We finally got seated. Noticed the tables around us still had dirty dishes. Our server came over and took our orders. The special was chicken and rice and that's what a couple of us wanted but she informed us they were out of rice. Ok, no biggie, changed our orders. She never asked us if we wanted biscuits or cornbread and we had to ask her twice to bring bread which just was biscuits cuz they were out of cornbread too. Had to ask her to bring our drinks. Had to ask for a straw twice. The food was good, when if finally came out after a very lengthy wait. Clearly they are understaffed and I feel like they wanted us to know that. And how you run out of staples, I just don't get that. Anyways, I probably would pick somewhere else to eat next time. read more

I wish I would have paid just a little more attention to our Servers name! We went there New Years day for a late breakfast and Our server was amazing!! I had the Steak Hash Brown Casserole. The food was really good. my sister had got a kids meal with tenders and fries and got like 20 fries but i got an adult mean with the same thing and only got 10 fries. the service was ok 7/10 made me really full but the waitress did get a couple things wrong but id say its an ok restaurant wouldn't come back tho. read more

Put an order in for pick up and had to wait 20 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready and then half of the items were not in the order. Not the first time I've had a frustratingly long wait picking up food to go. I don't think I'll be ordering again. If you do, I would tell them that you need the food 30 minutes before you actually plan on picking it up. read more

This morning, the wait was very long both to be seated, and to get our order, which when it came and was cold. There were no napkins or salt and pepper at our table. The waitress Amanda was lovely, but sadly she was working 9 tables by herself. When a drink was spilled at another table, no one came to help our waitress, the hostess who wasn't doing anything, brought the wet floor sign but left the mess. We have been going here since it opened, it is a shame how bad this has gotten. The manager doesn't seem to care. I heard a conversation in the middle of the shopping area between him and another customer. Our server's vest was dirty, the restroom same, I held it, would have been more than 'don't touch the seat'. Pretty average fare for a chain, but consistency throughout is good, right? Went in for brunch on way out of town as there wasn't much else open for breakfast except fast food at 11am on a Tuesday. Went in with party of 5 and waited for about 15-20 minutes for a table to be cleared. Got seated and served fairly quickly by a waitress who was t happy and seemed overworked. Got the biscuits a d gravy, which were ok, but not great, warm when served, and some lukewarm hash browns. All and all it was ok, but like most of the time I will try and avoid this chain unless I'm desperate for breakfast food. It is cheap and you get what you pay for I suppose. We ended up here accidentally when the restaurant of our choice for that evening was closed for dine-in. It was a good accident, I am glad we came here. We loved the atmosphere, we got seated immediately, which hardly ever happens anywhere lately, especially on a Saturday evening. Our seat was near the wonderful fire place, our waitress was fast and efficient and very friendly. The food was good, we had the Hamburger steak and Meatloaf. I remember my last visit in Twinsburg, OH, about 15 years back, and it wasn't anything special. These days where service has gone bad in many places, good waitresses are hard to find and quality is a rarity, we are happy to say: WE WILL BE BACK! read more

Most of the breakfast selections are carb heavy so I wouldn't recommend CB if you try to eat low carb. The service was fine. have always had good service and made to feel welcome until this past Friday. Went to the hostess and she never spoke to us just sat there. We had to acknowledged her first. she couldn't get the silverware because her nails was to long. had to grab them with her fingers down in the bags touching the silverware which was terribly discussing. She said something and pointed to a picture walked us to the table tossing our silverware on the table turned and left. my husband could not believe that we were being toss aside like trash. When i called management we were told all management was in a meeting and i would get a call back when they were all done. A place you can go for some cheap eats. Cracker barrel has a wide range of menu items to pick from. They offer a breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. You can order off the breakfast menu for dinner if you like. They have a cool store that you walk through before seeing a hostess. The candy and odds and ends are neat to browse. This is a great place to bring the kids to. My boyfriend and I decided we needed pancakes (I've been talking about pancakes for a week) so we went to the place we both agreed has the best pancakes. You get a warmed mini glass bottle of syrup with you cakes. The cakes are so fluffy and delicious ..it is a must try! read more

This was my second visit to Cracker Barrel. This restaurant has a very pleasant ambiance. I must say, the service was great... shout out to Jennie, our server... she was very friendly, hospitable & attentive! As we all know that half of the enjoyment of dining out is the hospitality! I chose Wednesday's special, chicken pot pie... ugh, I was so disappointed, there was literally two pieces of chicken in this dish, I must say I have had KFC'S chicken pot pie in the past, and KFC'S chicken pot pie was much more enjoyable, including the biscuits at KFC! Cracker Barrel's garden salad was good, but, for that price... they could've been more generous with the greens! I did appreciate that they didn't use iceberg lettuce! I order the to go option a lot especially with COVID and other things. They do a wonderful job of keeping their environment clean. It is a preference to eat at home. Only reason I'm giving 1 star is because the manager Natalie was SCREAMING at her employees today and I am soo appalled by it that I wanted to make sure someone takes notice. There is NO REASON ANY MANAGER EVER HAS THE RIGHT TO TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE THAT EVER!! It was so loud the dining room could hear her and as I voiced my disgust by her actions I was thanked by several employees for sticking up for them....THAT'S A PROBLEM. Had lunch today at Sheffield Cracker Barrel...entire experience was terrible...host, Ryan was so rude...he practically ran from the elderly couple he seated ahead of us...he barked "follow me" to the couple, who were obviously handicapped, and threw menus down before they could reach their table...he barked "follow me" to my husband and I...same treatment...waitress came as soon as we sat down...asked if we needed time to look over menu...we said yes, please...she came back 20 minutes later...she was not serving any other tables...she argued with me over menu items...brought no napkins...we waited 30 more minutes for our meal...we were standing up to leave...another waitress brought the meal...potatoes and turkey were crusted over from sitting too long under heat lamp...biscuits were dry and burnt...stuffing was like sawdust...all around poor experience read more

I had a very good waiter today. The food was nice and the hash browns were very delightful. Some of our pancakes were overcooked but over tastes very well. The wait for a our food to be cooked was shorter then Usual and we were glad when our food came. The place was more crowded then usual as well but the lighting was nice and the noise was low. I was VERY disappointed with the service I received today. My friend and went in at around 1:30 today to just have a quick lunch before going to work and we were greeted and ordered were taken promptly to sitting down which I appreciated..unfortunately enough our server left after taking our order and we were handed off to a different server who was going to "take care" of us. Our new server never came to introduce herself to us just asked if we needed drink refills so we asked how much longer our food would take she responded with "oh not to much longer". At the time I wasn't even aware that she was even our new server. Roughly 15-20 minutes later we were still waiting on our food. We had both had enough of waiting so we went up to the front to pay for our drinks because I will never be one to walk out on a bill no matter how small. When we went up the ladies at the front called up a manager. I tried explaining to her the situation and she was very stand-off ish and my comment on how long it took for our food to come up was met with attitude and entitlement. She offered for us to sit down because our food had just come out and we declined.
