They had a menu covering breakfast and lunch so we started with a fried patty with chicken from the breakfast selection. We're used to generous plates with Haitian cuisine and Rose Goute didn't disappoint. The legim was smooth and rich, deep complex flavors with some heat but by no means overhwhelming. Perfectly balanced with the diri djondjon mushroom rice. We also had a chicken plate and griot (pork.) Rose Goute has made our list for "whenever we're in town." You pay your tab at a register on the way out, and they have envelopes for each server if you want to leave a cash tip. They have a shelf of local jams, jellies, and honey for sale.
