The food was delicious! I had catfish, okra and Mac & Cheese. The service was above average. Wish she would've quit calling me sweetie. The place could use a deep cleaning! Disgusting and dirty.

muy buen servicio/service, la comida/food me encantó, ambiance/ambiente era súper relajado.. un lugar hermoso para ir a comer y disfrutar con tu familia.

Josi did an excellent job of serving us. I liked that in true Cracker Barrel fashion she introduced herself, so I introduced my brother and I. She remembered our Jelly. She was friendly and attentive. I ordered the 1 pc catfish dinner with turnip greens and hashbrown casarole. And of course I had hushpuppies. I savedd my cornbread and biscuit for dessert which a I enjoyed with black berry Jelly. My biggest complaint is that the portions seemed smaller than in past visits. My food wasn't particularly hot but acceptable. This location as all locations was nicely decorated. No trip to Cracker Barrel is complete without checking out the the country store. The Springfield Location had the best selection of Lodge Cast Iron cookwear I've seen in a Cracker Barrel. I bought a Panama Jack hat that had a great markdown which made it more in line to what I'd pay for a hat. Derek was a good check out person. Overall a great experience. Part of my Anual Roadtrip tradition while visiting Springfield.

Super thin Grilled Chicken Tenders that are burnt.

Plenty of parking including several handicap spaces. Speaking solely for the (all day) breakfast, food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Over easy eggs were wonderfully runny, toast had the perfect amount of butter, the bacon done exactly right, slightly crispy but soft enough to be comfortingly chewy. And a generous amount too. Turkey sausage links were as anticipated, mild in flavor, and the silver dollar pancakes were actually pretty large and quite tasty. Coffee was okay, served in a large mug. If you want milk or cream (which is probably the fake stuff) in your coffee speak up when you order, as we were not asked. Service started out somewhat shaky but improved as time went on. You pay your tab at a register on the way out, and they have envelopes for each server if you want to leave a cash tip. They have a shelf of local jams, jellies, and honey for sale. The dessert list on the chalkboard indicated some delightful sounding pies, but I'm saving my calories at present so had to pass. I see they have two other locations, so hope to try one of the others as well next time we're between Urbana and Eaton.
