WOW... what happened??? We have not been to cracker barrel in a while, but the menu has changed. The store is still the same, it is still decorated the same. We had good service, but the choices on the menu have changed, there are a lot fewer of them, and the portions have gotten way skimpy. They don't offer omelets ??? Their Grandma's sampler is more of a diet meal than what I remember it being.

The place is huge! And there is a store inside! I was in heaven! I found so much harry potter stuff and grinch stuff! Omg I almost bought it all! The restrooms was clean and everyone was nice! When we walked into the doors there was someone to check us in this was my first time ever in a Cracker Barrel and I'm so glad we came! The food was delicious! I got the kids cereal pancakes! And they was good I took home the kids chicken tender dinner with the biscuits and cornbread! Omg I couldn't get enough! I will be back!

The last few times I Have went the food quality has been poor, the service was slow, and the old fashioned ambience that I grew up enjoying is no longer there. Then you change your logo..will not be back.

Yum yum yum!!! Cracker Barrel never disappoints me!! We had the meatloaf and new smothered grilled chicken! No complaints, warm biscuits and quick service! this is our favorite location to go too!

We came here for breakfast with my husband's family when we were in town visiting. It was crowded, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We got the Eggs-in-the-Basket with Bacon and Hashbrown Casserole as well as a side of Biscuits and Gravy. I really enjoyed the Eggs-in-the-Basket. Unfortunately, we asked for the eggs to be over easy and they came over hard though. It was still good. I wasn't a fan of the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy was bland and the biscuits weren't good. They also bring a plate of biscuits to the table, so I wouldn't order anything with biscuits since they come for free. The service wasn't the best. Things were slow and our waiter didn't come around often. He forgot things we asked for. I'm sure they're understaffed like most other restaurants right now though. The meal was ok, but I wouldn't be running to come back.

Service was great but they didn't have some items. Not sure how a restaurant run out of items by noon.

Three words: Country; Fried; Chicken. Wow…read more I decided to stop at this little local place while staying in town for the week based on some solid reviews (and the fact that I made some fried chicken of my own for my family last night but didn't really end up getting any before I left). I started out with a 101 Jungle Bird as I'm a rum drinker and liked the idea of a bourbon-forward one instead. I'll say that this was much more fruity than a Jungle Bird and without the bitterness (no Campari). It also didn't taste very strong but it definitely hit me pretty good. Definitely a tasty-but-dangerous one there. For food, I opted for the Country Fried Chicken. What a fantastic choice indeed. The breast was either butterflied or pounded flat but still thick enough to give a good bite. The outside was cooked to absolute perfection with a crunchy texture without being burned or underdone. The inside was tender and juicy. The whole piece was seasoned beautifully and that was even without any of the delicious white gravy. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes that accompanied were similarly well done with great flavor. And the cherry on top was that the portion size was PERFECT. Not a ton of carbs and things that left me feeling beyond full or guilty that I had a bunch of leftover food to likely toss. The seat at the bar was a great place to be. A handful of seats staring at nothing but a huge wall of bourbon. To your back are a series of large high tops and, unfortunately for me, on this night were full of a rather loud group. An unintended side effect of the close quarters but I'm sure not a regular thing. The place is otherwise quite cozy and comfortable and in line with the southern cooking motif. My bartender, Mike, was also very friendly and happy to chat a little about my travels and share our regional sports experiences. All in all, absolutely outstanding. Great food, wonderful staff, and an impressive drink selection. I'm looking forward to coming back here again.

We saw this spot and decided to hit them up for a din-din and beer on this auspicious late afternoon. We were seated and they quickly brought out a menu - including one for our pup! How cool was that? I ordered their house lager- hubby ordered chicken Caesar salad- I got chicken tenders and waffles for me with fried okra for the table- puppy got a whole chicken breast- nice! Ok the taste - I'm not a huge okra fan. But these fried little morsels were spiced up and hit the spot- hubby loved his salad while I munched down my chicken and waffles like - you know - stat! And the service was great- definitely was awesome. If you want a little taste of the south? Check this place out?

The atmosphere was modern with a southern twist. I'm not going to lie, I chuckled a bit when I noticed my water glass said "Bless Your Heart". In Appalachian culture, this is actually an insult. We had a large group, but the service was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and everything was brought out timely and correctly. My food was really good! It was brunch time so I had coffee, the "Mimosa of the Moment" which was an apple cinnamon, a biscuit with blueberry preserves, and the Southern Shakshouka. All were fantastic and I would definitely get again. I also thought the price was affordable for the quantity.

Since there were a number of couples waiting for the full service side we opted for the former. We ordered and paid at the counter. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with a sweet potato and steamed broccoli while my husband ordered the grilled salmon with sweet potato and opted for a caesar salad in lieu of a second side. The grilled chicken breast was moist and well seasoned but it essentially was naked. It could have used a nice sauce like a bearnaise or some kind of salsa (maybe chutney) to jazz it up. The sweet potato was embarrassingly small. The broccoli was crisp tender but again was bereft of any sauce or just melted butter to make it yummy. My husband's entree was tasty but essentially was pretty bare. His salad was decent though. This restaurant must understand that the eye eats as well as the stomach because when the entrees arrived at our table the plates were rather underwhelming. We also ordered coffees and the gentlemen at the front said he would make a pot of fresh coffee. (He never did). The coffee we were served was old. Apparently, coffee isn't a big draw at this place. The best part was the gluten-free brownie and ice cream at the end. All in all, the place is nice and clean. The food is decent but there is room for improvement. Would we return since we are locals, I don't think so.

It's tucked into Budd dairy food, hall, so tons of drinks and seat seating options throughout the restaurant. If they're crowded, it can be a little bit of a wait, but I've never waited more than 30 minutes, and it's well worth it. For food, you have to get the blackened catfish. It is so yummy. Their mac & cheese is delicious, their cornbread is cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth, and the french fries were good. Just the right spice to not distract from the flavor of the chicken. Now just an FYI The chicken is not really spicy. Not a bad thing since the Rice , Greens and Hush Puppies supply the spices. Interesting take on the dinner. They also have Catfish . Can't wait to try both the regular and the Blackened Version.
