Let's be honest, anytime you go to Cracker Barrel it's for the comfort food and the nostalgia. This is the Cracker Barrel I frequent the most and usually have a standard experience. This time during the Sunday dinner rush our food ticket was misplaced so after waiting an hour for hour meal the kind waitress came over apologizing profusely. She comped one of our meals and gave us 2 free desserts for the trouble. She was very kind and would love to have her as a waitress again. Be patient and have grace with your servers! The grilled chicken tenders are my go to- they have a delicious semi sweet seasoning on it that I'm addicted too. They're also one of the last businesses to have Mallo Cups so I have to get my fix when I'm there! read more

First the service. Fair, our server was pleasant but we were never offered drink refills and had to ask for more than one napkin. . Ambiance, has not been remodeled yet. Unfortunately the food is not what it used to be. I ordered country fried steak and my wife got country fried chicken. She found the chicken very spicy and sent it back for the steak. My steak was overcooked, as though it had been left in the fryer twice as long as was needed. The batter was dry as was the steak. As one who orders this item often, I found the "steak" portion not to be the same as in the past. Looked alike some sort of preformed patty. My sides were mashed potatoes and green beans. Good service and mediocre food We ate here on Easter weekend while traveling through town. I was able to go on the website and put our name on the waitlist before arriving so we only had a few minute wait. Service was good and we were able to order quickly. The food was a disappointment. It was always a tradition when I was growing up to visit Cracker Barrel when we were traveling as a family. I wanted to continue that tradition with my kids but the food did not meet the mark. My kids were good with their French toast. I ordered a salad that I had gotten before and the quality and presentation of the food was not what it used to be. Went here for brunch again last month and decided we're done with this place. It wasn't busy and the wait times between the server acknowledging us, taking our order, and receiving the food was painfully long. Once we received the food, we never saw the server again. The eggs were once again, undercooked. This time my hubby's were so undercooked that the whites weren't even cooked. Told him to let the server know, but she wasn't anywhere in sight, so he went ahead and ate them. He ended up getting sick that night. He basically ate raw eggs, so it wasn't hard to put two and two together. My French toast had black bits stuck to it, and it made it taste like onions. So yeah same problem as last time...they aren't cleaning the griddle. But making my husband sick was the last straw. read more

We came here for breakfast with my husband's family when we were in town visiting. It was crowded, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. We got the Eggs-in-the-Basket with Bacon and Hashbrown Casserole as well as a side of Biscuits and Gravy. I really enjoyed the Eggs-in-the-Basket. Unfortunately, we asked for the eggs to be over easy and they came over hard though. It was still good. I wasn't a fan of the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy was bland and the biscuits weren't good. They also bring a plate of biscuits to the table, so I wouldn't order anything with biscuits since they come for free. The service wasn't the best. Things were slow and our waiter didn't come around often. He forgot things we asked for. I'm sure they're understaffed like most other restaurants right now though. we normally love cracker barrel but our breakfast this morning was terrible. what a waste of money. the ham was so dry, the hash browns had no flavor, and the fruit was not fresh. it just wasn't good at all. the only thing good was the coffee and biscuit's but even the gravy that came with the biscuits was mediocre. not sure if we'll ever return to a cracker barrel ever again. when we told the hostess how it was she said the best she could do was take the orange juice off the bill. Sites this location 7/19/25 for breakfast for two. Waited for approximately 30 minutes to be seated. Hostesses were friendly, as was our server. When we entered the dining area, I noticed that approximately half of the tables were empty, so I asked the server about this, and she said they were short-staffed. Apparently this is fairly common at this and other locations. Our overall impression of the food we ordered was that it was not up to par with previous dining experiences here. Portions are small and tastes low quality. I ordered peach topping on my pancakes and they drowned them in cheap peach sauce to the point of making my pancakes inedible. When I said my pancakes were too soggy to eat they told me I would need to pay for a new stack. I know that isn't unheard of but I prefer to eat at restaurants who can afford to give me 2 pancakes when the ones they served were inedible. I took my grandson's out to dinner to thank them for all the help with our move today. They wanted an appetizer of fried pickles as they were very hungry. Appetizer never arrived. I ordered a decaf coffee and it was less than lukewarm so the server took it and made a fresh pot. The fresh coffee was very good. One of my grandsons ordered pancakes and the inside was runny and gooey, not fully cooked. The server was a very nice lady and did her job. Unfortunately, the kitchen let her down. At checkout, the cashier asked if everything was OK and I said no it really wasn't and she asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. No, I do not want to speak to a manager and do their job for them. I try to understand....it's a pandemic. This rating has nothing to do with the waitresses that work at this establishment that are saddled with cooks and others in the back office that are absolutely horrible. It's also does not have anything to do with the live experience - I would grade them constantly a two or three star. Most of the time this restaurant feels like you're doing a disservice by showing up. What does have to do with is DoorDash with the absolutely horrible service and inflated prices that this establishment charges We have ordered a DoorDash from this establishment probably about five or six times. Take the normal price on the menu and multiply it by 1.25 or 1.5 and that is the price point. What they allow to come out of the kitchen and charge $50 for is absolutely disgusting. Our order is only right one out of every three times. This week was great - another $50 order for biscuits and heat and serve items. We put in 96 ounces of coffee. The guy showed up at my door with a cup of coffee. I would really recommend everyone to please go to any other breakfast establishment, and definitely do not order DoorDash from them. There is no quality control, no one checks the orders, and at some point in time if you order it often enough you're gonna get sick. Most of the Cracker Barrel's i've been fortunate enough to dine at are outstanding. I travel a ton for business and I know no matter where I am if they have a Cracker Barrel I could get a good quality meal whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. This Restaurant is around the corner from where I live. Stopped in for some Sunday Chicken. They were very busy but we were seated right away. You could tell the staff was swamped but everyone was working together and getting things done. All the customers seemed patient and happy to wait a few extra minutes for food. Our waitress was Awesome and kept apologizing and thanking us for being patient with her. I get it no one wants to work in restaurants anymore. Food came out everything was Wonderful. The manager went above and beyond customer service. I went to pick up a carryout order and when I paid for it with a gift card, the cash register malfunctioned. Despite the attempts of the checkout attendants, calling their supervisor, the manager calling their IT department, the sale would not go through.
