The salad had fresh salad, crouton. It could use more dressing and Parmesan cheese, but otherwise it was good. The loaded baked potato was cooked well, but there was a lack of toppings in ratio with the potato. It needed more sour cream, and bacon bits. I came here with my boyfriend and it was an amazing date night to say the least. It is one of his favorite places and I can just simply see why. Bring back the chain restaurants man, I love local, but something about chain just does the trick sometimes. You know what you are getting and not paying an arm and a leg for a basic burger. It was kinda dirty inside. The service was kinda average, but the food out did everything I must say! I got the salmon with seasoned rice pilaf. As my two sides, I got the charred grilled corn on the cob and crispy Brussels sprouts, yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy! I was one happy girly! I did the happy dance! Good Solid Steak that was flavorful. Don't let the char of the steak of the pictures fool you it was the PERFECT MEDIUM. Mac and Cheese was soulful. Parmesan crusted fries were off the chain. Shrimp was a homerun and the cocktail was fabulous. Customer service was stellar. Only drawback is like where it's located as to try to pull up in there is odd and wonky and a lot of traffic for some reason. Like you'll assume you pulled into their parking lot but technically you'll be in some sort of strip mall parking lot with a Starbucks instead. Lobghorn is a regular in our lunch rotation. We always sit in the bar with June. She has mastered serving everyone at the bar and in 2 rows if booths surrounding the bar. Their lunch menu offers combos that include a burger (my huband's favirite meal there), soups and salads. I enjoy the grilled chicken strawberry salad with grapes, mandarin oranges, nuts and raspberry vinegaret. I orefer the white basalmic fir a leas sweet dressing option. I ordered a full rack of ribs. Got the ribs and grabbed an end piece and the rib was cold to the touch. Not like lukewarm, I mean straight up out of the fridge cold. Very well-run establishment with a manager (Shane) leading the way to excellence in the face of a huge and hungry Saturday night crowd. Every employee we encountered smiled and said hello. Shane and the hostess got people in to their tables as quickly as possible. All of Longhorn restaurants have the same look and decor and this one looked pretty new or recently refreshed. Also very clean throughout, even the bathroom. The food: ribeye and New York strip steaks cooked exactly as ordered and consistent with every other longhorn steakhouse. Sure I don't know if the cows name was Betsy on a 100 acre farm but it sure was tasty and I can feel good bringing this receipt my back home to the boss. We have been to this place few times and the food and the customer service has always been consistent for us. It's always great. Every time we went our servers have always been knowledgeable about the menu and took their time to explain it. On our last visit, we ordered the stuffed mushroom for the table for appetizer. It was a good size to share with everyone. The dish was very flavorful. For entrée I had the sirloin steak, which was cooked perfectly to my liking. We stopped here on a Wednesday evening while staying in Dublin on a road trip. The parking lot seemed pretty full but we didn't have to wait for a table for two. Our server Tylihya was so friendly and attentive. I had the seasoned wings (dry rubbed, not breaded, my favorite!) and they were SO good served with buffalo sauce & ranch on the side. Even the steamed broccoli I ordered was flavorful and delicious. My husband got the chicken tenders, fries and mac & cheese and was impressed with all three. We were able to pay via cash/card like usual or QR code at the table, so I loved that flexibility. Prices were fair given the current economy, and relative to us being from Michigan. Very little seafood in the soup, although still a decent chowder. Again, good not great but pleasant enough. The ribeye sandwich was very thin steak, on good bread with cheese and onions. They recommended medium, which I agreed with. But it was so thin that it was cooked all the way through, to well done. And it was very fatty. Do they not trim it before they put it on the sandwich? Longhorn is one of those places where the food is always consistent and going in, you know what to expect. It is one of the better steakhouse chains, and the value is pretty hard to beat. On our last trip to this location, we not only were treated to some nicely cooked dishes, but also some excellent service by our server Lollah. She went over the menu in great details, provided us updates on the food, and checked in very frequently to ensure that our drinks were full and the empty plates were taken away. Servers at some of the better-known restaurants in town do not even provide this level of service. The food itself was excellent - there was complimentary bread, but we still ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer which was a pretty good portion size to share around the table. The steaks (2 of us ordered the sirloin) were cooked perfectly, and the parmesan chicken, although a bit on the salty side, was also tasty. The restaurant also has several good options from the children's menu. The drinks menu is better than most other restaurants, and we all thought that the peach tea was excellent for a warm day. Everything I ordered came out cold had to send several things back and I hate sending things back. Took a very long time to get a manager to come out heck it took forever for our food to even come out our server was too preoccupied with others around us and not us. Then everything we asked for she would forget to bring it and we would have to ask someone else. She act like she had no idea why we were becoming upset but we kept telling her why, wasn't listening to that just like she wasn't listening to anything else we were saying. Could have been she was too busy and overwhelmed but then you need to let management know you can't handle all those tables at once. They said they do not take reservations, but you can call 30 minutes prior to when you want to be seated and they would put you down. Cool no problem right? WRONG! Relatively affordable, family friendly, unpretentious steakhouse. It's not a super fancy prime steakhouse, but that's actually part of its appeal. Delicious and accessible. The concept is fairly similar to Outback Steakhouse, but I personally prefer the meat preparation better at LongHorn. Called ahead at 5:30pm to let the restaurant know that I'm coming Arrived at 6pm and checked-in on my phone to let the restaurant know that I was here. The parking lot was packed, so I had to wait briefly (a couple minutes) for a parking spot. The restaurant was not packed enough to justify the lack of parking. I decided to back in the parking spot in an effort to help drive out of the packed lot when leaving. Once walking inside the restaurant, they immediately called my name and I was seated. Once seated, the server asked us what we wanted to drink and brought us bread. Waiter brought us our water and said he would be back, then didn't return for 9 minutes. Once he returned, we ordered our food. Then we waited 24minutes for our food. Our server asked if we wanted ketchup, then immediately walked away. Even when he's at our table it seems like he's somewhere else. Server was very hard to understand because his face mask. The lights were dim in the restaurant. Our food was good. All 6 of us enjoyed our food. However, none of us received a refill on our drinks during our entire stay. Also, I should note that we had a stack of plates that sat for quite a while as employees would walk by and no one took them until our waiter eventually came back with our desert. The desert was delicious. It was moist and warm. But, we were all thirsty because none of us still received refills on our drinks. Check arrived during desert. Paid the bill. On the way out, I walked into the restroom which had water all over the floor and was very slippery, there were also used paper towels on the floor. Please don't eat here. I never preface reviews with that, but what I witnessed last night was downright disgusting and illegal. We were seated promptly and our server, Corey, was friendly, but things quickly went downhill. Another server brought us our food within minutes of ordering. After poking at it and examining it, we realized it was not our meal. It was very similar to what we ordered but not it. We told the women who brought it out, and she issued a very slurred, nonsensical apology, then took the food back to the kitchen. I thought she was going to throw it away, but nope she turned right back around and served it to the people behind us. WHAT?! We had already touched it and breathed over it. We sat there in disbelief before awkwardly walking over to the table and telling them "Hi..umm sorry you don't know us, but please don't eat that. It was on our table." Thankfully they did not mind our intrusion and were grateful that we let them know. We let our server, Corey, know who told the manager at once. The manager brought the table food and his apologies, and ours arrived about 20-30 minutes later. Our food was just okay, seemed like it was frantically produced by strained kitchen. My steak was a little overdone, but the drinks were okay. What really annoyed me those was that typhoid mary was STILL bumbling around the restaurant serving people after her disgusting display. I get that people make mistakes, but what she did WAS ILLEGAL. YOU CANNOT SERVE FOOD FROM ONE TABLE TO ANOTHER TABLE. To make matters worse, I just got off the phone with the buffoon manager, after asking him why he allowed her to bumble her way through service after she did that. And he told me not to worry because he gave her a stern talking to and that her illegal actions were not a fireable offense. He also let me know he was glad I let the couple know not to eat the food...(because that's totally my job). Fantastic service and atmosphere. The server was spot on and was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and fresh. We had steaks and they were great. Would highly recommend this location to anyone asking. I wouldn't ever go to any of the other Longhorn locations in Columbus ever again after the experience here. The other locations need to take notes on how efficient and welcoming this location was. The server was so exceptional we left her a 40% tip. Will definitely go back to this location multiple times and hopefully get the same server again. For the management at this location - the server with the initials CD is EXCEPTIONAL. I have not had better service in a restaurant in the last several years at least and I used to travel extensively for work and ate out every day. I wish all restaurants had a staff like this one. Tells me that the management here takes care of their people and they appear in all respects that they like what they are doing and they have people that support and encourage them. Because she had to go to the back she went and got the ranch and multiple orders she came and walked pass me, she took people their orders to their table and then came back and handed me my dressing off a plate that she walked to one of the tables. Consistently good. This is a well-established chain restaurant that never disappoints. If steak isn't your thing, LongHorn's ribs are also worth trying. The chopped steak dinner is a great value, and one of my husband's favorites. White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms are a new addition to the LongHorn starters menu. OMG! What's not to like about mushrooms swimming in a dish of assorted cheeses? My husband and I tried this new appetizer on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. I can see me returning and ordering this as a lunch entree in the near future. Our server was a young man named Lincoln who made our dining experience a true pleasure. He was friendly, attentive and made us feel lucky that we were seated in his section. We've had similar positive experiences with other servers at this location in the past, which says a lot about the overall management of this particular restaurant. After being seated, it was actually 15 minutes before anyone stopped by to say Hi and get our drink order. Waiter stopped by and took drinks, which took another 10 minutes, even though we were at the bar. Once we received our drinks in two waves, we ordered and enjoyed their appetizer of Onion Petals (Texas Tonion) - Tasty with a mustard sauce. Worth ordering if you like these. As for Entrees, we ordered a Tbone, Sirloin w 2 shrimp skewers, Chicken Tender Dinner, and the Strawberry Chicken Dinner salad w Baked Potato. The steaks were cooked as requested and were good. I would recommend the Shrimp add on. Try the 6oz sirloin and the shrimp skewer. $18 good deal. I wouldn't say amazing, but good. Chicken tenders - what can i say...my son said they were more like nuggets, but they were good. The Strawberry Chicken salad was also good but again nothing too special. We also had to hunt down our waiter (via the manager) to get our check for the night too. Overall an OK dinner. Honestly not going to be at the top of the list to visit again, but given the price for the night (giftcards), we enjoyed it. We called ahead because we had a party of ten, by the time we arrived, we only had to wait no more than 10 minutes. Seems like this Long Horn entrance and foyer area was more spacious than the ones in Michigan. They had a small foyer entrance with benches and then the main entrance which had plenty of seats, the set up for the restaurant was pretty much the same. The wait staff was super friendly and on their P's and Q's. Our server, Charlotte P, was by herself and she was very attentive. We didn't have to ask for anything she was right on it. Well, Longhorn is a chain and part of the Olive Garden/Darden family of restaurants. That has good and bad aspects. You'll typically get a fairly consistent meal, but it won't be out of this world amazing (usually). First, they do have call ahead seating. Definitely take advantage of it on busy nights to prevent a long wait at the restaurant. The interior clearly has a western theme with cowboy items, heads of steer, etc. throughout. Service usually is pretty good - not five star steakhouse good, but fairly decent (typically). Try the Wild West Shrimp starter for a large, rectangular plate of small, crunchy, spicy shrimp with dipping sauce. Fair warning: they are highly addictive! For entrée choices we like either the Flo's filet or the Renegade Sirloin. The filet is a very tender filet mignon for a fairly reasonable price (about $20 for six ounces). The sirloin is also a very tasty steak which is not as fork tender as the filet but also hardly chewy. It's a relative bargain (about $12 for six ounces). All entrees come with salad choice and a side. The Caesar salad is our choice; it's not an amazing or particularly authentic Caesar (has a more creamy dressing than a true Caesar dressing), but it is usually cold, crisp, and fresh. Definitely try their complimentary honey wheat bread usually served warm from the oven. Very good! For sides I like the broccoli which is usually slightly crunchy and decent or the baked potato (nothing special though available with assorted toppings). Save room for dessert! The key lime pie jar is delicious and just the right size for a sweet treat without all the calories. For a more indulgent (and possibly more delicious) choice, try the Caramel Apple Goldrush. A large dessert sort of a cross between an apple pie and an apple dumpling that's served hot and dripping in a deliciously sweet caramel sauce. Very indulgent but very good. So, Longhorn is not a five star steakhouse. But, it is a place to get a fairly consistent and decent steak meal (they have things beside steak, too). read more
