I lived near by, and like to have some American breakfast. This place popped up Yelp, review is pretty good, so I thought I'll give it a tried Walking in, a lady behind the counter with a big smile and says "welcome" I like that, very friendly Sat down, not that many people, but the place look very clean, while I was looking over the menu, few people walking in, I notice the server was welcoming them and also asked them how's their day, how is everything, how's your trip and so on. I've had ups and downs with Sunny Street before, at other locations, but this was very definitely an up. Handy, and open when I needed them to be. Service was excellent. They were not busy at 9am on a weekday. Just a few other customers. Interesting menu, with some decent choices. I went with the stuffed biscuit and gravy. A decent fluffy biscuit, with cheese, peppers, onions, sausage inside. I've never had one like that. It was different, but good. The gravy was also different, at least not the bulk generic from a can style. I'm sure they didn't make it here, but it must be their own recipe, and is pretty good. Very small bits of sausage though. Came with two eggs, cooked to the requested over medium. Hot sauce already on the table, which is a plus. A little overpriced for the portion size, but I am getting used to that nowadays. All in all an enjoyable, quick breakfast. read more

I love diner food, and this was no exception. Soon as we entered, we were greeted by a friendly staff and seated right away. It did not take long for our food to arrive after we placed our order. Our server was super sweet and was patient with us on trying to figure out what we wanted to order. Also, when we were about to leave, she even offered to give us a to go cup with fresh coffee. As per the food, we ordered Chocolate Lava pancakes, Chicken and Waffle, and loaded has browns. Everything tasted great. My friends and I had a great visit here recently! We were both in town for the holidays and were looking for something in between us to have a good meal and catch up! My partner and I got their first, which we were seated promptly and offered the usual breakfast beverages. I got their sweet cream cold brew, which I really enjoyed. Our friends showed up soon after. We chatted for a while and were given as much time as we needed to decide our meals. I ordered their chorizo breakfast burrito, my partner the buttermilk pancakes with eggs, and our friends also got a breakfast burrito and some sort of stuffed biscuits and gravy. I've never seen them inhale food so fast. Before we knew it our friends were finished. Those of us with the burritos were surprised at how much kick the chorizo had to it. Personally we found it great but it is something to be warned about if you dont like spice. My partner said the pancakes were adequate, but he's had bette. Not surprising as that was not their main focus. He still enjoyed them and cleaned the plate. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. We never felt rushed the entire time we were there, and we were there for almost 2.5 hours! Overall it was a great choice for breakfast and I would go back. read more

Came in today a little after 12 and was able to get seated right away so that was great. The Menus were very easy to understand and our waitress helped up out with any questions we may have had. Today I had the Hearty breakfast scrambled eggs with cheese bacon, loaded hash browns with cheese, and onions also up-charged my pancakes and got the Chocolate lava pancakes. Those scrambled eggs were definitely the best eggs I've had in a long time!! Pancakes were a bit rich but overall still very good. Bacon was cooked to a nice crisp also not to thick not to thin. I went in this AM craving their chicken fried steak. I ordered 3 eggs over easy, CFS, gluten free toast, hashbrowns and cheese. Most of the staff were nice. Nice guy told them to make sure my food was excellent. 35 minutes later, I had the server find my breakfast which came out with 2 burnt eggs, no cheese, a tiny bit of cold hash browns, no gravy, burnt cfs and toast that came out later. I told the one woman, who copped a BAD attitude with me like it was my fault... Ten minutes later she returned with three almost raw eggs and more cold potatoes... Never did get the cheese. And she placed a 23 dollar bill in front of me and walked away without apology. Server was kind and took care of most of it and I tipped her well. She and the other guy tried but there was no saving that...Just a big mess, that took forever... Will go elsewhere. read more

Do not order "Delivery" from this location. The manager apparently does not know how their system works and was extremely rude. After waiting over an hour and a half for my order, I called for a refund, at which time she told me they do not do delivery and yelled and hung up. In Ohio for business and came across this Cafe, very small gives home vibes. The people are very pleasant and helpful. Our waitress Paige although in training she was very attentive and pleasant. I love to walk into an establishment and be welcomed with a smile. The manager of this establishment should be proud of their Staff for their outstanding food, service. I sat in a corner table and was able to see behind the counter and I was a impressed they are super clean and organized. I ordered my specialty egg sándwich with tomato and Mayo super delicious, the potatoes were fresh and crispy. I ordered two cup of the fresh squeezed orange juice it was so delicious and fresh. Have not been to a breakfast place for awhile, and happen to stop by Sunny Street Café for breakfast after voting. They have quite a variety of breakfast items and I had a hard time to pick between the Combos and the Omelettes. I got both and it turn out very good. I especially like the Denver Omelettes. The thin layer of egg and packed with tons of peppers, mushrooms, hams. Their pancake is slightly thinner than I expected, which give a bit of crisp on the edge. This place is absolute trash. The only thing they had going for them was the super cute cook with the piercings and colored hair but they got rid of my sweet, handsome prince and now it's just trash. Most of their fruit is rotten and moldy, probably from their employees shoving their bare hands in it, their meats all taste expired and their pancakes always come out too dark. And don't get me started on their fried chicken, it always comes out WAYYY too dark, not like the perfection offered at Popeye's. The eggs were cooked perfectly over hard, the sausage patties were super salty, and the buttermilk pancakes were bland. They do have real OH maple syrup, so that was nice. The hash browns were pre seasoned and a bit on the salty side. I couldn't eat the sausage because of the salt, so my hubby ate them and agreed they were really salty. We were both perplexed by the pre seasoned hash browns. The waitress was really nice and the service was great, so no issues there. Came in on Sunday morning around 10am. The two of us were seated right away. Menu is pretty short and to the point. Many healthy options. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the stuffed Biscuit with gravy and a side of southern style grits. Usually my husband has to put a bunch of butter and sugar in his grits but to my surprise he didn't do a darn thing to these...I've never seen this before. They were excellent!
