    Pineapple mahi

We decided to come to Red Lobster because it's probably been 15 years since I've been to one, and my bf had never been! Not to sound mean, but we didn't have high expectations coming in. However, our expectations were shattered, and we really had a great time, yummy food, and we both agreed we'll come back! Warmly greeted when we arrived, looks nice inside and inviting. We requested a booth and got the corner booth. We both ordered margaritas, and while I was disappointed mine didn't come with a salt rim (just a classic on the rocks) they did fix this for me. We started with the crab queso and chips because it looked yummy in the pic on the menu , came out looking just as good and we DEVOURED it, it was so good I forgot to take a pic. Up there with my favorite queso ever- can you imagine that, from a Red Lobster! We were practically licking the bowl, huge chunks of crab, and a nice addition of tomatoes on the side, which we immediately dumped in. My boyfriend loved the biscuits (I had warned him he would) I just wish they had some gluten free ones also, letting them know I'm gf, and I get a binder to go through to figure out what I can and can't have. Pretty weird, better than nothing I guess. I ordered the New Orléans Salmon, with a sub of potatoes since I can't have the orzo, but it came with orzo. oops! I had to explain to the server that I can't have it one the plate (I had told him I'm gluten intolerant) but the situation was fixed, but not a great thing to happen. My bf had the pineapple mahi and liked it. We liked our veggie sides- mine asparagus and his broccoli. Everything tasted great, just a few mixups but I would definitely come back and happy to tell others about our good experience!

I came in just by myself, and was greeted quickly by the host. He was very kind and asked how my day was, engaging in a short conversation as if we had known each other for years. Very welcoming and nice!! My server seemed hesitant at first but he was a very sweet person, quick, and was very attentive to me despite the little amount of time I was there! The biscuits. Wow. Perfect fluffiness, tasted buttered, and was seasoned perfectly. The side Caesar was also good, and was bought out with the biscuits which I liked to have first! The Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo looked and tasted equally amazing. They also substituted the Cajun chicken for grilled with no issue! Lighting was dim, very relaxing as well. Great environment!

Haven't been for a while, and we need more date nights....so here we are. They have different daily specials every day. Monday is endless shrimp. Our server, Devon, was very nice and friendly. He seemed genuinely happy with his job. Prompt and always has a smile for you. Started with the amazing cheddar bay biscuits, of course. For drinks, I got a Lobster Punch, and my man got a Stella Artois. The Lobster Punch consists of spiced rum, coconut rum with pineapple and berry juices....delicious and dangerous. I started with 2 shrimp scampi's because they're out of the shrimp skewers. My man got the coconut frued shrimp and Walt's favorite (fried shrimp). Round two for me was the coconut and Walt's fried shrimp. My man got another order of the Walt's and the Shrimp Alfredo Linguine. Neither one of us made it thru our second round. Luckily, Devon was nice enough to get a couple of boxes and a bag for our leftovers. We love this chain, where you can get a solid meal for a great price (with inflation).

My valentine and I had a great meal! The food was delicious! We were there on Valentine's eve. And it was great! It was quiet but there were many other people there. The staff were attentive but not in your face. I had not been there for a while and I was very happy with everything!

Several of us dined and everyone was satisfied with their order. I ordered the Sesame Soy Salmon Bowl without fried onions and it was perfect, plus it was a huge serving so I had a nice lunch the next day. The salmon was done perfectly and it was a great blend of flavors. Good service and all our orders were correct.

We had a great birthday celebration here with our granddaughter, she loved the crap legs & had cheese cake & ice cream for desert.

We opted for Red Lobster today, feeling a little old school. It was Sunday, early afternoon lunch. They weren't too busy so now wait for tables. Definitely go to check out their super reasonably priced beverages. They have $5 drinks (draft blue moon, a margarita, and wine- res and white) daily. Service was good, atmosphere was quiet, food was good. I ordered the New Orleans Salmon (half order) with baked potato and side salad. My husband ordered the stuffed flounder with baked potato and a side of crispy brussel sprouts. My salmon had a blackening seasoning and was served with a sauce, a few shrimp, and a pico/salsa. It was excellent. My husband said his flounder had a lot going on between the stuffing and sauce and was a little thin. It sounded like he wished he would have gone with a more solid piece of fish. The crispy sprouts were crispy. I think they could have used some lemon or a sauce to brighten the flavor. Cheddar bay biscuits were good and the side salad was good.

We sat at the bar and got Zack, who was easily one of the best parts of the visit. He was chill, helpful, and gave honest food insight without trying to upsell. Ask for him if you go. My drinks? * Crushed Pineapple Martini - smooth, not syrupy, with an actually-fresh pineapple wedge * Heatwave - tequila, citrus, jalapeño, tajín rim. Bold but balanced. My dining partner had the Pomegranate followed by the Lychee Martini -- floral and light, with a soft dessert finish. Food-wise: * Bang Bang Shrimp leaned saucy (mayo-forward), but still came out hot and seasoned. Not my go-to texture, but my partner liked them. * Mussels Josephine were the real win -- buttery, garlicky white wine broth with fresh tomato, herbs, and tender mussels. Every shell opened, every bite flavorful. Served with surprisingly good bread and herbed oil that wasn't just decoration -- it actually tasted like something. My dining partner had never tried mussels before and ended up loving them. Said the texture fell between shrimp and lobster -- tender and briny in the best way. Would I go back? Yes. Not because it was flashy, but because the food was hot, the prices were fair, and the experience felt easy and intentional. Sometimes that's all you need. I prefer the meat as you can get it at any temperature whereas with seafood I don't think you can control how they cook that. I prefer meats to be medium well. Whom placed me at a very nice table. I looked over the menu, which had a little something for everybody. To be honest I liked that, plus there wasnt an over abundance of items... it was that goldilocks moment... just right. I decided to try the grape leaves. I asked if they had made them themselves and they did -which is what pushed me in the direction. You get two very stuffed grape leaves --that are definitely made in house. I was not really a fan of the lemon sauce that they use. I didnt dislike it, I felt it was a tad too thick and not enough lemon. However, I seemed to eat all of it, which is something I dont do at most places, so despite it needing more lemon I must of liked it more than I initially realized. As far as ambience, it still has the footprint of the former sushi restaurant. the bar is completely unchanged. however, they have these lovely little lilac flowers or Japanese cherry flowers hanging from trellises throughout the entire back dining room. makes it look lovely. This transforms it into its own identity. i liked it. They had soft music playing. I wasn't sure if it was Mediterranean or Spanish, but I enjoyed it. I liked my time there The one thing that needs mentioned is the pricing of the salad proteins. This is confusing. I was going to order a salad but the menu had it listed the price of a salad. Them below protiens. The price listed on menu is not in addition to salad. Its the final price of the salad. I did not realize that and thus didnt order the salad. I also didn't like being quoted 10.80 for my total and then having it changed because I used American Express to 11 something. Personally, I feel businesses should make it a little easier for their customer in the cost of doing business should be at the restaurants expense in that situation. I probably would've tipped more had they not popped up my price Tbo Would I come back? absolutely. However, I will bring cash the next time so my bill doesnt go up. Lol.

Arancini - 6/10, nice crispy texture but the taste was a bit unexpected, like the added a bit too much Gorgonzola. Calamari - 7/10, a bit chewy but with a nice crisp, missing something fresh. Beef carpaccio - 2/10, Marcella's used to have an absolutely delicious carpaccio... this was a bit of an abomination. Beef slices too thick, crispy flatbread that broke up when I looked at it wrong, a white sauce on top that made the whole dish worse. Absolutely do not recommend. Dinner was a few pizzas 2/10 (read: precooked flatbreads with subpar toppings). The crispy potato "pizza" needs to be taken off the menu. Garlic sauce, cheese and these awful, overcooked potato chips. It was inedible - all 5 people at the table tried it but put their slice down after the first or second bite. Pizza Margherita DOC was a very salty, tomatoey thing. I think the grocery store version would be a better choice. We also shared the Pepperoni Sausage with mushrooms which was better, but it was undercooked and watery.
