Delicious Breakfast with Exceptional Service @ Crackin' & Stackin' in Eagle Point, OR. !! Some friends and I met here this past Saturday for a mid-morning breakfast. The restaurant was quite busy, and we waited for our turn to be seated in their comfortable entrance area. The booths are ideal for two, but felt like they were on the smaller side for a party of three. Tables are available as well. The atmosphere was pleasant. Our server was amazing throughout our time here. Food was delicious. We ordered Specialty pancakes, biscuits & gravy, and eggs with bacon & link sausages. Huge portions. We all had leftovers. Reasonable prices. Thank you.

Awesome food! Big portions. Everything I ordered was prepared perfectly and was full of flavor! Definitely worth going here! The blueberry pancake was out of this world! The bacon is delicious and thick not skimpy and the home fries are perfectly crunchy in the outside & soft inside!

It was our first time here and we got seated right away, not too many ppl here yet, there was a sign posted next to our table saying they were "trying to make this work"( may indicate that they are struggling) and " we're having a hard time getting Suplies and staffing." (I think businesses everywhere are struggling). And it ended with. " please understand" . Idk if that is a good first impression or not? The older waitress really didn't get my husband's humor and he did order a hot cocoa and a soda and only received his hot cocoa but then he just opted a have water and that was that. I had a $3.00 bitter coffee even with creamer it was bitter. I don't use sweetener just creamer. We eventually ordered. (And after about 20 min or so we eventually got our order people who came in after us got their order before us ) Hubby got the French toast and I got the Big Boy and it comes with either the French toast or the pancakes ( there menu says with any flavor cakes which tells me I can order any flavor such as the apple caramel without an extra charge for the toppings) as u can see hubby picked the Carmel apple pancakes and the toppings cost extra. Our awesome server did let me know that it was going to be extra but there menu dose say ANY, It comes with whip cream but I am lactose resistant and cannot have whip cream. From our table I could hear the cook in the kitchen yell "order up" they may want to employ a different way of letting the servers know that their order is ready. It would save his voice. A bell maybe? Idk. The apple topping I could tell it was from a can and looked like pie filling and was just really sweet. A fresh apple compote, or even using frozen apples may be better than canned and a lot cheaper. Just an idea . Over all there place that we could see was kept clean. Some of the paint on there walls was coming off I could see the white paint under the odd thick texture, but it looks like it was hard to paint in the first place hubby being an ex contractor didn't like the odd texture " he said the place must've been a Mexican restaurant before it was cracking and stacking) Final thoughts: Overall, the food was very tasty. I would've given them five stars for the food. If they weren't using canned apples for the amount you get, and the price that we paid for I give them five stars service. I would give them four stars because it was slightly on the slow side And a 5 stars for checking in on us to make sure that we are ok, our server did an awesome job. Ambience. The paint on the walls can be touched up a little bit and may be a little brighter color than the peachy beige they had on the walls. Scientific proof says red and yellow indicates and stimulates appetites so maybe a yellow wall with red accents or red flowers on the tables or something I give them four stars for ambience. I give them five stars for cleanliness. We did pay 37.00 for our meal with tip but u do get wheel cover size pancakes and huge amount of hash browns so hubby was ok with that. The question is, would we go back? The answer would be ? Yes, they have so much more pancakes to offer and I would love to try. If you have any comments, please leave them down below. My friend and I are in a road trip from MN to Oregon and stopped at Crackin' and Stackin' based on reviews, but let's be honest, that's a hell of a name! Alexis was our waitress and she was amazing! Bubbly and made out experience very homey, in fact, she hand squeezed the best Orange juice I've had in a long time! The fries were the best we'd ever had and the Tri tip, so soft! Give this spot a try! You Betcha, it was great!

We were seated right away by a friendly young gal with unbrushed purple hair and an unsightly septum piercing. We sat in a booth with a pretty view in solid wood benches. I'm a bit fluffy and was not incredibly comfortable. We were served our drinks by Goth/rave girl, and waited 10 minutes for a polite young man to take our orders. We waited another 16 minutes, then our food arrived, but not at the same time. That's what I noticed about every table, 2-6 people, it didn't matter, and usually a several minute lag. Half the table would be eating, the other half waiting. Perhaps server trays could be useful at this point? At one point there were 3 empty tables and people waiting in the lobby and parking lot. I got the veggie omlet with home fries and sourdough toast. All fresh veggies. I need to start asking what type of onion is used. They use red onion and I'm not a fan so I had to do some picking before I could eat. Everything was good. My companion got the Denver omlet, hash browns, and subbed biscuits and gravy for his toast. Again, everything good. Hash browns are pretty crispy. They give A LOT of gravy with the biscuit. read more

Ok....first time having lunch from Crackin & Stackin and YUMMY! We had the mushroom Swiss burgers and we loved every bite! This place is a gem! It's Sunday and it was busy but our takeout was just coming out when I got there to pick it up! Burger was juicy, fries were done perfectly! Logan and Alexis are the best! Very attentive and will make you smile! If you live in Eagle Point like we do, this is the place for you great breakfast and even lunch! read more

Absolutely love this place! We've always gotten great service and amazing food with huge portions, and every time I've ordered "cremated" bacon it always comes out perfectly. We love to get takeout for our company meetings from here, because we know they were always make sure our orders are perfect and it's been a great way for us to showcase local businesses when we have guests from out of town! Thanks for all your hard work, Crackin! This is a breakfast/lunch place that just opened. There were people waiting to be seated when I arrived just before noon on a Sunday. There is an extensive variety of pancakes on the menu; I ordered the standard buttermilk cake (one) with two eggs and sausage. The over-easy eggs were cooked just right; the link sausage was the standard high-fat kind. The thin pancake covered the dinner plate and the cake tasted of cooking-oil. There were the usually syrup and plastic containers of jam available. For a "pancake" restaurant, the cakes were disappointing. On the plus side, the portions are huge. The coffee was standard restaurant fare. The wait staff were attentive and efficient. The menu includes hot and cold sandwiches. read more

The food is decent pancake house style. Everything was good when viewed through that lense. The real issue is that everything takes forever. From just getting a table, a first glass of water, food, or getting the check. The wait time does not seem to scale with how busy they are. We're from out of state on a road-trip. Stayed at a nearby VRBO ranch house that recommended this place so we gave it a try. SO HAPPY WE DID! FOOD: Extremely tasty and beyond plentiful. Five in our group...we each got something different and shared tastes with each other. Every dish was just as good as the next. Hubcap sized pancakes...freshly squeezed OJ that you can actually see being squeezed. SERVICE: Quick & accommodating with special requests without making a big issue of them. STAFF: Theresa was absolutely beyond amazing. One of, if not the best, waitress any of us have ever had. Our first experience here was so enjoyable there was no question where we were going to have breakfast the next day. THE NEXT DAY: We had different items off the menu this time and they did not disappoint. Plus....we got Theresa again! Guarantee we will include this place if any of our future travels take us anywhere close even if we have to drive out of our way. read more

Yay! Finally a palace with gluten-free options and good food. I am so happy we decided to give this restaurant visit. The staff at the Eagle Point restaurant are the friendliest and most happy servers I have come across in a long time. They made my visit such a fun experience. Since recently moving to the EP area I will be sure to make this a regular place to eat. Lots of vegetarian and healthy fresh options to choose from. And once again- thankfully some good GF food! read more

This place is a great breakfast and lunch spot. They are famous for their pancakes, but to be honest, I have no idea why. Pancakes are heavy and not very good other than the amazing variety and tons of sugar that is put on them. However, skip the pancakes and everything else on the menu is delicious! We love the omelettes, French toast, burgers, and everything else. Don't forget the fresh squeezed OJ. Now, if they'd just bring the Good Bean Coffee back. read more

We've been disappointed at how long we've had to wait; not just to be seated, but to receive our food. The food is tasty, and they serve good portions, but you have to decide if it's worth the wait. We attempted to have breakfast recently and waited for 35 minutes before we finally left because there were several tables available in the main dining room (behind the front counter/desk) that could've been used and yet we (along with others that were waiting) never were seated. And several of the customers that were already seated in the main waiting room were still waiting for their food that whole time (35 minutes). So many people waiting, waiting, waiting! Unfortunately, several customers/families walked out at about the same time we did. In addition, a customer came in and said she'd been trying to call all morning to place a "to-go" order. The staff member commented, "they were busy". The woman tried calling again (as she stood in front of the staff member) and commented that the phone was STILL busy. The staff member admitted to placing her phone in "busy" mode. Oh boy, another frustrated customer! Also, there were three young men in aprons (busboys, maybe?) standing behind us for most of that time and they didn't seem to know what to do. It was a very odd experience that left a lot of customers unhappy and frustrated. read more

Excellent service, and very large portions. In an effort to avoid a food coma at noon, we ordered lunch. The bacon burger and fries had zero complaints from my picky tweenager. I will leave a picture of the club and the mac salad - whatcha think? I though flavorful, satisfying, and delightful! Could not be happier with breakfast. The potatoes were exactly how I like them, a little bit on the crunchy side. Everything was very tasty and the pancake is as big as a hubcap. They have a large variety of batters that they can use to make a pancake. Well worth the money that I paid and the service was Top Notch. read more

Krista was OUTSTANDING. The whole restaurant staff made me and my friend fee extremely welcomed and made our day! Lunch was ok, nothing spectacular to drive from Medford. The club was not a traditional club, just a turkey and ham sandwich which my husband was disappointed. I had a chicken club which looked great but tasted a little bland. There was almost too much bread to eat it. Staff was super friendly. My daughter is so very picky and they came up with a Nutella pancake solution that left her smiling the rest of the day.. saved my day and thank you!! We ordered take out this morning this was my first time trying this place. I ordered the California Benedict with ham instead of bacon and I added a half order of biscuits and gravy in place of home fries... My meal was absolutely amazing! The hollandaise was perfect, my eggs were poached perfect, I would have liked a little more avacado but my meal was amazing I highly recommend trying it. My biscuits and gravy hit the spot! The homemade fluffy southern style biscuit smothered with homemade country sausage gravy was perfectly seasoned -the sausage they use is great! This was a wonderful combination of both comfort food and perfectly balanced flavor. My wife ordered the Chicken, Mushroom, spinach, and swiss cheese omelette which she added onion to. She was very pleased with her selection, she did say it needed more cheese and next time she will all for cheese inside not just on top. She chose home fries for her side and added a half side of biscuits and gravy. I'm excited to try the rest of their menu, they even have lunch choices that sound great. It's nice to have a breakfast and lunch spot in Eagle Point -especially such a yummy place with GREAT customer service. This was my first visit and it was so good! The atmosphere was welcoming and it was very clean (important to me). The orange juice was extremely fresh and the coffee was not overly strong. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet and it was to die for. So much flavor. The only recommendation I would give is if you like your scrambled eggs very well done, let them know (my fault, not theirs). I will definitely be back. read more

So far, I've had 4 different people help me and all were amazing, helpful, and patient while I tried to make a decision on what to try next. One even completely satisfied my 11yo's request of a "fun surprise drink" -- which we later found out was an Oreo shake (not shown, but it comes with the straw on the side and an oreo on top!). The sizes are also larger than I was expecting, both for the food and the drinks... and there are so many options! We've had so many things, not pictured, and all have been great. The bagels, Oreo shake, and biscuits and gravy are top of the list! There are also two sides where you can order on the building -- so you're in and out quickly, and if you go around lunch, there are food trucks in the same lot as well. Seems like people are sleeeeeping on this place since it's kind of tucked away, but it's right across from Walmart -- try it next time you're in the area!

Today we tried Crackin' and Stackin' for the first time and we loved it! I had the bacon, cheese, and avocado omelette. It was very good but I do think ill try something else next time I go for breakfast. There were 3 slices of avocado on top of the omelette and no avocado on the inside. I suppose that's pretty normal so it was basically a bacon and cheese omelette( still very yummy). The home fries are DELICIOUS so I am so happy I tried those! Our server informed us that the bread is baked fresh from a bakery in Ashland so the toast is great too! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs. He said the gravy was great and ate everything so it must have have been awesome. My mother in law had the garden skillet and it looked so good. All of us had hearty sized portions and were pleased with our meal. I even got to try the fresh squeezed orange juice. I really was impressed and we will certainly return. read more

Well my two cents worth is we have been there three times 2-Saturdays,and one Thursday, with our Grand son and Grand daughter plus to friends just love it, we all came out over full, awesome portions, hot food, great tasting food,awesome nice servers,wife and I love the all meat omelet big and great tasting..and it is close to the house, we call it our new best place to go..I bet if they don't have it they will try to make it.. read more
