They also have a good rewards program. The restaurant is centrally located in Medford but they also have locations in Central Point Oregon and in the Portland metro area. We were so impressed with watching them prepare a Patty melt for someone else, that we came back the next day so we could try them. The Patty melt was made with two patties, Swiss cheese grilled onions and mushrooms on a marbled rye. They have a diverse menu with a lot of sub sandwiches and more. Just arrived in Oregon and tried this place...Wow just wow..The pastrami sandwich was loaded and when I say loaded I actually had to remoymeat just to pick it up and eat .And I can eat monster of a sandwich..My wife got the turkey club so so much turkey and veggies and the bread seem so fresh..like it just came out of the oven..The decor of the restaurant has to do with heroes... We used to like coming here once in awhile even though they're pretty expensive for a sandwich shop. The last visit we had, we waited for our food for almost an hour. I guess they were short staffed. When we went to pick up our order they had one sandwich and said they didn't have the ingredients for the other or the fries. My partner and I came here for the first time today while running errands in Medford. This staff is not being held accountable for daily cleaning/maintenance. I went to the bathroom to take care of a bloody nose and the bathroom was entirely dismantled. No trash can liner to toss my tissue in (EW!) no toilet paper, no paper towels to dry my hands. I have worked in the service industry for years and I can't imagine something like this sliding in any facility. It totally depends on who's making the food. Also, if you order the basket of fries, sometimes they put them in the box, like they're supposed to. Other times they just put it in the same cup they do for a regular order, then you have to fight a bit to get what you've paid for. read more

Hero's is a solid 3.5 stars. Not the best sandwich I've had, but definitely a nice option to have in the valley. I've been to the sandwich shop twice now. In my opinion, it's a better choice than Subway. Today I got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was pretty good. I wish the meat and vegetables were seasoned more. The taste of the bread overshadowed the taste of the actual goodness of the sandwich. Good texture and the food seemed fresh. The staff was also helpful. Just spent 67 bucks,(including tip)on burgers and sandwiches. I ordered no pickle. Even typed please. PILE of pickles under my patties and my bun is so soggy it's almost dissolving. Not sure about how the food is fresh but the according to grubhub the driver left the restaurant with my food and was here in 6 minutes. So ya. Not too happy. Last visit sandwiches were burnt and bread too hard to eat. We tried to let it go. This time a thirty dollar order got completely messed up in its level of quality by many factors. We were not told we would wait nearly 20 minutes while our sandwiches got cold after starting them. 5 people working and one guy standing at register not helping anyone out orders. Customers came in after us and were prepared before us. Quality of taste was poor as no one helped the new kids make them properly. Fries waited so long they were cold. Ate our cold food and just left after being told we really didn't matter... I'm so many words. Frequent this place often but no more. Didn't get my food. I got some tots sitting in 1/4 grease. If you moved the container grease would pour out the sides. I ordered the meat burger I got something with rotten roast beef covered in fried eggs. I'm allergic to eggs. They sent me something with wilted old bacon and roast beef and eggs.
