Great warm friendly environment, kind staff, and good food. Although it can be a bit pricey for a dinner.

Food is average, owner is unusually aggressive to customers. Doesn't feel welcoming unless you have eaten there for many years.

Breakfast wasn't so good. The order was wrong. The eggs were dry. The pancake was heavy and my husbands ham was grisly. We won't be back

The chili oil and peppers were incredibly fragrant, with layers of flavor that made the dish unforgettable. The Boiled Beef was equally delicious. The broth was rich, thick, and packed with flavor, and the beef was tender and perfectly cooked. Every bite was satisfying. Everything was so good that we completely cleaned our plates before realizing we had forgotten to take photos! We even ordered a Beef Chow Fun to go because we wanted more. On top of the excellent food, both the owner and his wife were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It's rare to discover such authentic and delicious Chinese food in a small, out-of-the-way town. This place was a hidden gem, and we'll definitely be coming back.

It came out fairly quickly and was delivered by the robot as well as the woman who took my order. First of all the pancakes were the best I have ever seen at any Asian restaurant ever!!!! they were hot, thin, delicate, but strong and tasted great. The Moo Shu mixture itself was fine; however, no sauce was provided. I've never had that experience. Always before either plum sauce or hoisin sauce has been provided and it makes the dish wonderful. I would've asked for hoisin sauce, but I never saw my server again. She never came back to check on me until it was time to pay the bill. I am going to go back and give it another try but this time when I placed my order, I am going to specify that I would like hoisin sauce. If I were going to recommend any improvement for this restaurant, it would be that the server is more friendly and checks in on you a few minutes after serving you to ask if you need anything else so that you can fully enjoy your meal.

We were seated immediately, and our coffee and waters showed up almost instantly (always a great sign ). The place is a bit dated, but in a charming, homey way. I actually loved it -- cute decor and even a small jewelry area to browse while you wait... although "wait" might not even be the right word because the food comes out fast! My husband went with the chicken fried steak, and I ordered French toast from the light menu. We usually split a meal, but today we leaned into both sweet and savory -- and I'm glad we did. Everything was delicious, no complaints at all. Service was quick, friendly, and on point. Our coffee cups never hit empty, which honestly deserves its own gold star. Would I return? Absolutely. This is one of those spots that feels like a local favorite for a reason -- and now it's one of ours too.

Once we were seated it took about 15 minutes before we were waited on but that was because it was so busy. I was told 5:30 is a better time as it's not as crowded. We began with a truly amazing cocktail: Smokin' Hibiscus Margarita. It was fantastic!!! My friend ordered the Dungeoness crab entrée. She totally enjoyed her crab but she was unable to cut her broccoli because it was so undercooked and the knife that she had was dull. I suggested she bite the broccolini but it was too tough to even do that. I ordered my very favorite which is their meat loaf. I had the same experience with my broccolini. Oddly both were a pale lime color, which I have never seen before but they were inedible. My greatest disappointment was in the meatloaf which was completely dry because it was overcooked to the point that the outside edges were burned. I should have sent it back but I had fasted all day because I wanted to enjoy it last night with my friend so I was actually too hungry to send it back and wait for a different plate to come out. Recommendation: The chef needs to check the plates before they are released from the kitchen to be brought to the customer. Overcooked, burnt meatloaf with undercooked vegetables is unacceptable. Despite this, I gave three stars because of the superb cocktails, my friend's Dungeness crab, and all the prior times when this past summer when the food was so delicious.

**Kiva Made a Bucket-List Dinner Extra Special!**…read more We visited The Old Spaghetti Factory in Medford on July 27, and while we have always had great food and service here, Kiva turned this visit into something truly fantastic and memorable! Stopping at OSF was actually a bucket-list item for my oldest daughter during her summer vacation, so this dinner was already something she had been looking forward to. Kiva didn't know our goal for the afternoon, she was just doing what came natural, making it surely live up to the excitement! She was incredibly friendly, personable, wonderful with our girls, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone at our table got exactly what they wanted. We asked for a few extras along the way, and she never batted an eye--she was heartwarmingly kind, accommodating, and happy to help. And the food was AMAZING, as always! Our table gobbled up shrimp with fettuccine, ravioli with meat sauce, chicken piccata, angel hair pasta with browned butter and mizithra, and a large side of broccoli. Of course, we had to finish with dessert--vanilla ice cream, spumoni, and POG sherbet, one of each! Everything was delicious, but Kiva is what took our typically great OSF experience and made it a special memory from our trip. She helped make our girls happy, made us feel completely welcome, and added that extra bit of warmth that you remember long after dinner is over. We're travelers when we come through Medford, but we make a point to stop at The Old Spaghetti Factory--and after this visit, we'll certainly continue to do so. If you're traveling through the area, I absolutely encourage you to make it a stop. And if you're lucky enough to have Kiva taking care of your table, you're in wonderful hands! Thank you, Kiva, for helping make one of our daughter's summer bucket-list wishes such a great memory!
