This bubble tea location is right in the middle of bishop arts district. It's cute inside and the staff members were really nice. The only downside of things is the drinks. I wanted 0-25% sugar fruit milk tea, but all the options were a syrup flavoring that they just add water. And they just water the flavor down if you want less sugar. So I ended up getting the jasmine green tea with Mango bubbles and you could barely taste the bubbles and the tea was so bitter it was unenjoyable. My cousin got the traditional milk tea which was too sweet. Only good drink was the Thai milk tea which my brother enjoyed. Ordered a classic milk tea with boba to test out this shop, and the milk tea was surprisingly good, the tea flavor was quite nice in the drink. The boba also had great texture, bouncy and fresh, however had zero flavor in and of itself - if only the shop would cook their boba with brown sugar (as it is traditionally done), it would make for a perfect drink! The only other downside to this shop is the production time. By the time I left with my drink, there was a queue of at least ten people waiting behind me. Each drink takes the staff about five or so minutes to make, and there were only two members at the shop - the cashier also made drinks, which makes for a pretty inefficient setup. However, if you're in the Bishop Arts area, and needing a fix, it's a pretty good option if you have the time to wait! read more

A 16 oz chai tea with boba jelly. The 2 young ladies that took my order were extremely helpful an patient. I had never seen a charge though (.55) just for the jellies? I came into Craft Boba Tea with high expectations. Sorry!! I hate doing that and stuff but they have the word craft in their name, and if you're reading this review you are probably boba junkie like me! In the end, while I wasn't let down, I felt that my experience could have been better overall. First, I wanted a lychee fruit tea w/ boba. You have boba in your name, you probably should have boba available at all times. Second, when I was told they were out of tapioca boba, the staff just pointed to what looked like an ice cream topping bar and said this is what we have available. There was things like gummy bears, sprinkles, Oreo crumbles and other toppings probably better suited on ice cream that made me rethink whether I really wanted a drink any more... but I decided to take one for my fellow yelpies! Third if you use craft in your name, I'm hoping for something like real fruit to be used, instead of syrup. I was told they don't add any sugar to the drinks which gave me hope but then I saw the syrup come out and I felt a little misled. It also has a chemical aftertaste In the end, $6.17 or so for a drink is pretty up there for a what is just a run of the mill drink. I am addicted to boba tea and decided to check this place out since it's close to home. It's a small, quaint shop located in the heart of Bishop Arts. There are a few places to sit inside but on a weekend I would imagine you should be prepared to take it to-go. I tried the classic milk with boba and lychee. The young lady that rang me up was extremely nice, and advised up front that they were short staffed that day. Despite the disclaimer, my drink still came out fairly quickly. The flavors were definitely there and the milk tea didn't taste watered down. The boba is also made in house and paired well with the milk tea. This tea was decent. I arrived at this location and it was kinda packed. Well there were a few customers. I ordered right away. It took about 10 minutes for my tea to be ready, which was not bad. I order the large tea which is a decent size and it's actually very cheap to came out to six dollars. Overall I did not really enjoy the Thai tea because it is not the best that I've had not one that I would try again to be honest. Their drinks taste great, and the staff was quick and helpful. However, there were so many menu items sold out (like 30-40% of the menu), including the taro flavor, which just seemed a little weird to me. As a boba shop, I feel like it's pretty standard to keep taro well-stocked, but it wasn't that big of a deal. There was also trash and straw wrappers left on the floor all over the restaurant, which is a bit of a turn off for me as it makes me wonder what else hadn't been cleaned. Pretty classic and standard, nothing special. They certainly have a lot of options though with different fruit flavors and combinations of things. Great location with good parking in the area. We got to this establishment about 5 minutes prior to their close time, excited to try it out, and were turned away, with no explanation as to why they were closing early. I was pleasantly surprised to find this boba place as we were exploring Bishop Arts District! I ordered the Wintermelon Milk Tea (a personal favorite) and their boba was just the right amount of QQ and sweet. Next time, I'll probably lower the sweetness to 50%, but I'll definitely be back! I had the lychee fruit tea with pearls and less ice (I do like that they let you specify the ice level). The pearls were decently cooked but a little lacking in the brown sugar/honey flavors you want to get from boba. Service was quick and polite but not particularly warm/welcoming. So my fiancé and I were out running errands and we decided to stop for Starbucks and, unbeknownst to us, there was a Boba shop in the same little plaza. So, we decided to go for boba instead. The shop is small, but so cute! It reminds me of a lot of to-go cafés--you could chill in here to enjoy your drink, but it'd be too small for anything longer, à la Starbucks office work.
